People of Tilea

It is my sad duty to inform you that our Glorious Shogun Talkin IV has died tonight after a long-term battle with cancer. He is reported to have died peacefully in his bed and is not believed to have been in any pain at the end.

His Son, Jerek is now set to be called back from University abroad for his coronation in 3 weeks time. Until that time it is likely that the Prime Minister will take control of the country to avoid a potential power vacuum.

*Open Diplomatic Transmision to the world*

The People of Tilea would like to invite the leaders of the world to attend the Funeral of our Glorious Shogun on the 4th November 2006, Attendees will be treated will full Diplomatic Respect and will also be required to wear standard Western Funeral dress.

The Government of the Allied States of Dai Yuddha Ossyria offers its deepest condelences to the people of the Tilean Free States. It is a sad day when the leader of a nation, no a great and beloved leader of a beautiful is taken from his people well before his time. I did not know the man personally, but I am sure he would have been a formidable ally and staunch opponent. He will be remembered well, I am sure. I believe that your leader would want to turn such a time of mourning into one of happiness, and I believe that such a time of happiness may come about in the future between our two nations. I will not be able to personally arrive in your glorious nation, but as sign that the people of Dai Yuddha Ossyria is mourning with the people of the Tilean Free States, Federal President Dr. Wilhuff Woodhelm would like to attend the funeral.

Signed,

The Sanctified and August Sage-Emperor of
