Introduction
Nestled deep within the mountain range known as The Aslanic Mountains, named after the former state of Aslania, for many years have been two nations locked in a cold war. The unforgiving terrain the battleground that saw no battle. And out of this rose two leaders who would shape the future of their region. Together they formed The Aslanic Mountains treaty, forming an allied state by the same name.

Musician Enhancement Programme
Musicians and more specifically bands are helped along the way to become more well known. Rock music is popular, but other types of music are liked also. Successful bands emerging from The Aslanic Mountains include Aslanites Against, a well-known punk band formerly known as Aslanites Against War.

Detailed Entry: The Army

Command
Each regiment is headed by a Lieutenant Colonel, who commands around 800 men. Further divisions into Companies (around 100 men) and then platoons (10-12 men) can then be made. In most cases therefore, there are ten platoons to a company, and eight companies to a regiment.

Corps
Armoured Corps (50 Regiments. Approx: 40,000 strong.)
Artillery Corps (75 Regiments. Approx: 60,000 strong.)
Engineer Corps (55 Regiments. Approx: 44,000 strong.)
Infantry Corps (200 Regiments. Approx: 160,000 strong.)
Signal Corps (55 Regiments. Approx: 44,000 strong.)
Support Corps (35 Regiments. Approx: 28,000 strong.)
Logistic Corps (110 Regiments. Approx: 88,000 strong.)
Medical Corps (40 Regiments. Approx: 32,000 strong.)

The Armoured Corps
Providing the tank force and armoured reconnaissance components. Used to provide firepower and shock elements, armoured reconnaissance gaining information through penetration of enemy lines using both stealth and firepower.

The Artillery Corps
Providing battlefield fire support and air defence for the Army in the field. Its various regiments are equipped for conventional fire-support using field guns, for area and point air defence using air defence missiles and for specialised artillery locating tasks.

Engineer Corps
Trained as both infantrymen and engineers, soldiers in this corps can function as a combatant and as specialist combat engineers. They tend to repair broken vehicles, both during combat and during peacetime. They are ever-present in any war. Their missions include not only fighting, but seeking out and ensuring the quick repair of vehicles in the field.

Infantry Corps
The normal everyday infantryman on the frontline, fighting the enemy face to face without any specialist role to fulfil.

Signal Corps
The people who's responsibility is that of communication. Anything brigade level and above, communication wise, is dealt with through the Signal Corps. It is their job to make this transfer of information quick and accurate. They are responsible for the preperation and deployment of communication nodes and setting up command posts, and in the event of withdrawal making sure that these assets do not fall into enemy hands. At any point in a battle, they have a very important role to play.

Support Corps
Intelligence gathering and distribution with co-operation from the Signal Corps. Also deals with counter-intelligence measures and informational security. Other responsibilities include making sure that soldiers are fit, service animals are healthy, and deals with recruitment duties also.

Logistic Corps
The section of the army responsible for the safe distribution of equipment, food and anything else required during battle. Also responsible for the safe retrieval of battle damaged and unserviceable equipment, and the treatment (with co-operation with the Medical Corps) and evacuation of casualties.

Medical Corps
To care for the sick and wounded, and during peacetime to make sure that spread of disease is contained and to care for sick soldiers.
