A suicide bomber blew himself up along with 30 Icovirian citizens on Embassy Plaza, the location of all embassies in Icovir, at 11:00 AM Icovir Standard Time. The attack also injured 100 others.

It was revealed that he was a member of the "White October" group, as told by the leader of the organization (whose message to the world is below).

The "White October" organization is an organization that carries out terrorist attacks and plans to overthrow the Emperor of Icovir.

Message from the leader of "White October" to the world
The leader of the "White October" group has appeared on National Television. It seems as if he hijacked the air waves.

"Let this message be known to all around the world" was his first words. "We are the White October organization, and I am the leader. We plan to overthrow the Emperor of Icovir, the slime who failed us.

The man who blew up the pathetic citizens on Embassy Plaza? He was a member of the White October organization.

Our first plan when we overthrow the Emperor is to create nuclear warfare. Bewarned, all who are supporters of the Emperor will be executed when we take office.

We plan to start nuclear warfare with all of the nuclear weapons Icovir has. Bewarned, all nations which are not 'pure' will be our targets.

First up? Hataria. We will kill the scum once we overthrow the slime who's running our country.

We hereby declare war against the government of Icovir. Beware!"

After his message, television channels returned to normal. But another attack took place. A suicide bomber in Himes' Square in Medinah blew himself up. He killed 100 and wounded 134.

In his throne room Emperor Olaf received the news of the attack from one of his secret police who were had born witness to the attack and now they had been deployed in Icovir numbering at a few thousand persons. As well, they began operations to inspect the motives of this ‘White October.”

Further, a number of the Personal bodyguards of the Emperor were dispatched to help protect the reigning Emperor of Icovir at all costs as they needed to maintain the current government, at least until more develops, They were also given orders to not be noticed by any local forces.

The Emperor, Emperor Victor I, responded to the insurgency in a speech in Medinah on Embassy Plaza.

"We know of the terror attacks on our people. And they will be avenged. We know what White October is trying to do, and they will be abolished soon enough.

We call on all nations in the world to help stop this insurgency. We have activated a small percentage of our Imperial National Guard. We have activated 1,000 soldiers of our 7,480,000 National Guard.

This government, which has worked so well, will not be overthrown.

We have one message to the White October insurgency. And it is ---"

Screams erupted everywhere as a gunshot fired, narrowly missing the Emperor, but giving him a flesh wound.

"FOR WHITE OCTOBER!!!" screamed the man with the gun, then he ran off.

The Emperor was rushed into Air Force One, and it flew off towards Royal Isle, the location of his palace.

The man with the gun was caught by police as everyone scrambled everywhere.

"Foolish subhumans" he said. He then blew himself up with the bomb strapped on his chest.

100 civilian casualties. 10 people wounded. 10 police officers killed. 1 Emperor's Guard agent killed. The Emperor escaped safely, with only a flesh wound.

The rain splashed on the cold dark concrete outside, and on the lawns surrounding the building which didnt look their normal cheery shade of green. The office was dark despite the normal lighting, and the work just didn't want to be done. The weather was seeming to depict the general mood of the day.

Central government building was as loaded as ever with the joys of running a nation however. Busy civil servants rushed around answering miscellaneous messages that didnt concern the highest echelons of power. The fax machine churned out a piece of paper. Harolds stood by the coffee machine listening to it filter through. He turned to pick it up and walked with the paper and coffee to his desk.

At first glance it seemed like a boring note about something some civil servant couldnt deal with and thought it best to send on up. It was common to get one of these, cyclists in the streets blockading cars or a pressure group asking you to take a stance on nuclear weapons and energy. On second glance however, the letter seemed more interesting. It was from the Aslanic Mountains Defence Council, the AMDC printed in small lettering at the very top gave it away. The sincerity of the letter was given away by the list of possible actions, the one in bold the advised one. It read "send in armed forces".

He quickly read the letter, before picking up a phone and calling in the chiefs of the armed forces and his co-leader, Stanley Farthing. The meeting was very secretive, behind the big oak doors without a single other soul inside. When the large oak doors flung open, three chiefs briskly walked in a group to the AMDCHQ. The decision was made.

Ranks upon ranks of soldiers were given their assignments. A loud mouthed superior bellowed at them with a thick Aslanic accent. "UNIT 56-B, SOUTH-EAST QUADRANT, 22 SECTION." A block of troops were led off to a cargo plane also housing a few vehicles. Their mission right now was unknown, but at the same time a speech was made to the public.

Terrorist actions involve us all in some way. An immediate threat such as this is quite serious and should be dealt with accordingly. When one nation comes under threat, and it involved the rest of the world, we should drop what we are doing and answer the call to duty. This time is upon us. We are under imminent danger, and we shall strike first. We cannot wait to see what damage can be done before we act. We go to war this day!

Thank you for helping us in our time of need. We need troops to patrol Medinah, our capital. It seems as though terrorist attacks happen only there. It is the most populated city behind Rome.

(General IC) The Emperor released today the mission he set upon the Imperial National Guard and the IBI (Imperial Bureau of Investigation). He, of course, talked to the nation from the safety of his palace.

"We call upon the Imperial National Guard and the IBI to hunt down the White October members.

We have not learned yet about their definition of a 'pure' nation, nor how they will achieve it. But there will be no need to know, for we will deal with this Insurgency quickly".

The first plane touched down, carrying 150 fully equipped troops and transport. It was a short trip, but a rough one. They quickly offloaded so as to get the plane in the air again. All the time a cargo plane was on the ground it was vulnerable. The troops assembled by the runway as a second plane came in to land, kicking up some dust as it went.

This plane carried less transport and more troops, numbers now up to 500. They climbed into transport to head for Medinah. They were vigilent. This war could be over in moments, or they could be slogging it out for over a year. They hoped to God it was one of minimal casualties.

Spirits were high. The men liked fighting on foreign soil. It was better than fighting over Aslanic soil.

Inside MCI (Military Command and Intelligence) it was a normal day. The Head Director of MCI and SFC (Special Forces Command) Mr. *name deleted: CLASSIFED* was standing in the command center. The daily reports came in and one of the intelligence officers grabbed it out of the printer. He read it over thinking that it was another boring message but when he read over this part he froze. "Terrorist attack in Icovir. Call themselves White October. Trying to get hands on Nuclear Weapons. Want to destroy Hataria and overthrow the government. RECOMMAND IMMEDIATE ACTION." He quickly gave the report to the head director. He said, "alright inform the Prime Minister, he needs to know about this."

Minister House:
Prime Minister Jeff Carson received the report within minutes. He quickly read it over and responded "send a small naval force to the area. I want Special Forces to hunt these guys down. We need to stop them before they get to powerful."

Tolvin:
A small naval force left the harbors of the island known as Tolvin and headed off towards the nation of Icovir. The Elite 1st SOD, Wardog Commandos and Dark Agents where onboard the single aircraft carrier, the R.U.S Southwest. They were down in the Vehicle storage area checking their equipment and weaponry.

Medinah, Icovir
2 men were caught attempted a suicide bombing by some Egyptistan State Police. They were interrogated and revealed to also be part of the White October group.

It has been noticed that the White October group has been targeting areas that are:

1) non-Christian

2) non-White

That gives the Icovirian government an idea as to the motives of the White October organization.

SIC(My troops only):

Mas' 88th landed by a large, open grassy plain. It was elevated several dozen meters and would be a perfect spot for an artillery implacement, if they had any; Or so the Icovir goverment thought, off the plain came twenty RMW-120mortars, stocked with twenty rounds each, which would be commanded by Captain Leonardo Kinko. They also has two Sihan troops along with them -A seperate corp from the rest of the Latican Imperial army, which were devoted intirely to sniping with their Alex rifles.- these two men were in charge of protecting the mortar team.

"Troops, lets move to Embassy Plaza, stay in your troop's Mas-SI and hopefully you won't die!" With that Mas jumped on his own Mas-SI, which had been named after him during the Imperial Revolution.

Meanwhile Captain Kinko had ordered fifteen of his mortars and their ammo to be placed in a nearby cave, and had the other five start digging their ditches and cover themselves with a grass mat that they were ordered to bring along.

The two Sihan marched up a mountain thay was a hundred meters South of the UnCami Artillery unit and had supplies for two weeks, and would go down the hill and pick up their supplies when they ran out.

OOC2: The artilley unit is their AGIANST White October, incase they take a portion of the city.

The city was divided into its respective parts. Soldiers patrolled each section, mostly on foot, some with the privileged use of APCs. It was becoming a more and more common thing to see on street corners as more troops filtered through. Based on recent findings some parts of the city had been almost abandoned completely except a squad or two searching for members.

The soldiers, while trying to be vigilent also were trying to be friendly and win over the public. They had received a fair few nasty glances and muttered words of hate.

Two soldiers stood on a street corner talking in their home language of Aslanic. A man walked around the corner opposite in front of them, he froze where he was, looked around nervously clutching a bag, and kept walking clearly alarmed at seeing the two soldiers. Niall Hope radioed in. "Suspicious movements at our location. Moving in."

"Affirmative."

They walked off behind him still talking casually, when the man broke into a run. They quickly turned into their second language schooled from an early age. "STOP WHERE YOU ARE, NOW!" They also broke into a run to follow him, weapons at the ready. Hope fired one shot straight up in the air from his secondary weapon, a desert eagle. The man collapsed on the floor and Private Garant removed the bag from his person, frisked him and cuffed him with the quick application, one use plasti-cuffs each soldier had been issued with.

"Requested lift of prisoner. Location pinged. Bomb disposal unit requested." A few seconds later an APC that was already on route arrived to take the prisoner away, and two soldiers climbed out to patrol the area Hope and Garant were now leaving. They would take the man to the authorities.

A bomb disposal unit arrived, sealing off the area around the bag and placing small charges to safely explode the bag. The top was partially open and inside were metal components shining in the sun. "Lift the lid slowly and carefully."

"Its a bomb."

"Blow it."

The small explosion shook the few houses either side. They cleared up and left.

This is the Republic of Ustia announcing are support for your government. We have dealt with terrorist before in the streets and back alleys of the Southwest in Peoplesfreedom, an ally of yours if I recall. We are very concerned about the situation in your country and we are ready to support you anyway possible. I'm afraid that we can only send limited forces considering we have other issues to worry about as well. The force is a small naval force, the 3rd N.E.F (Naval Expeditionary Force), 1st fleet. Onboard are Ustia's finest special forces Including the Wardog Commando's which took down the Peoplesfreedom coup leader, Braddock and basically saved the nation. These men will hunt down this "White October" and bring their leaders to justice. Hopefully we can resolve this crisis before anymore-innocent people die.

1st Fleet:
Admiral Allen Shepard stood at the bridge of the R.U.S Southwest as the fleet approached the Red Sea. (Or whatever you call it) A couple Patrol aircraft took off from the flight deck and headed out it sea while returning aircraft readied to land. Down below the Special Forces teams were rechecking their equipment considering they were approaching the battle zone. The Dark Agents were the best of the best. Their equipment was designed for stealth and was extremely light. They usually snuck behind enemy lines and did as much damage as possible without anyone noticing they were there. These men are experts at raiding and gathering Intel. (Think Splinter Cell) Now the SOD's (Special Operations Detachment) job is to usually take out key facility’s like weapons factory's or fuel and ammunition depots but they can do anything you ask them. They work side by side the Dark Agents to form and deadly combination of stealth and brutally effective teamwork. (Think Delta Force) Now the Wardog Commandos do the grunt work. They are usually a Helicopter force that does fast and quick raid's on suspected weapons cashes or hideouts. There perfect for taking down leaders and bringing them to justice. (Think Rangers) Now these men are here to hunt down a group known as "White October" and whip them off the face of the Earth.

OOC: We need someone to be the White October. It'll make the RP a lot more interesting.

OOC: why dont you give a brief but clear info about them, then we can RP attacks on our troops or areas that they are guarding?

Recognizing Icovir's request, The Imperial Offense and Defense Departments have deployed 250,000 Spec. Ops. troops to the outer limits as close as allowed to at Royal Isle. Lt. Colonel Huinz is in command of the troops.

Nuclear weapons seized from the former Republic of Lonso and others perchased from the Indian Black Market have been prepared for defensive actions against White October in the case that they succeed in their mission, which in turn would cause Korshe to launch a nuclear missile into the lost nation of Icovir, destroying all threats. Nuclear warheads will otherwise be kept on stand-by until then or until threat is demolished.

OOC: I'm guessing its safe to say that this thread is dead, right?
