Here's my idea, "A Fistfull of Dollars" was a remake of "Yojimbo", and "The Magnificent Seven" was a remake of "The Seven Samurai", so now we remaking "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" into a samurai story!
This will be "starring" (in other words, picture the character as him) the Oriental "man-with-no-name", Toshiro Mifune as the ronin that Clint Eastwood based his character off-of, as "The Good" (possibly called "Kuroi" "Black", sorta like "Blondie", but I don't think so as pretty much everyone in Japan has black hair).
Anyway, make your character, I picture "The Bad" being European if the plot is Sengoku, or Edo period (see bleow).
I propose to make the story take place during the Onin War (aka. "The Civil War"). Of course, this doesn't coincide with Mifune's other movies's time line, but it nicely replaces the war back-drop from TGTBATU. If others disagree with me here, post it with your character, as I only want the people playing voting on it. If the "opposing votes" out-weigh the "for votes" (which include mine), then it will take place with the normal Mifune/Kurosawa timeline, with the other "no-name" movies.
I hope I get enough people to do this RP, as I need at least three. I will jump in as a character if the story needs more. Rember, if you want a European character, the votes must make the story Sengoku, or Edo period. Oh, and, when creating a character, remember you can always create a "counter-part" to a TGTBATU character.
