// :Abstract: //

When the American made M4's and M16 Rifles became rather outdated in comparison to Integers neighbors it was put up to its Condor division of weapons R&D to develop a new assault rifle with a high possible RPM, light magazine which holds at LEAST 15 more round that the standard 30 round magazine and is not only asthetically pleasing but is also user friendly and confortable to use. What was resulted was a Ambidextrious, Beta-C like 45 round magazine, and easily controlled rifle.

Sporting a bolt which can be cocked on both sides as well as an ambidextrious fire selector/safety featured directly above the trigger and a magazine release directly behind the trigger similar to that of the HK USP. The weapon has a revolutionary flash-hider which not eliminates nearly 80% of the flash but also has an integral silencer which can be switched on and off by use of a tiny lever near the base of the flash-hider/silencer. It also features easy to aim/align Holo Sights depicted below in use.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v145/KGBFaTaLsHoT/Gun%20Pictures/Sights.jpg
The weapon also features a RAIL mount above the barrel and the ability to easily remove the Iron sights. It is possible for Bi-Pods to be mounted directly under the barrel in the small space showed in the picture. The foregrip made out of a study very rough and frictive material guarenteed that the weapon will not slip if held properly.

The barrel also features recoil dampening in which the barrel reciprocated into the weapon its self where the recoil is dampened by a small set of rollers and springs. Upwards rise of the weapon is also combated by the barrel being that of a freely floating one with an independant set of springs for that as well. The gas system is insensitive collecting in the weapons interior and causing higher chances of jams.. As it is crafted mechanically and inspected by hand with extreme attention to detail to insure reliable operation even after firing more than 15,000 rounds without cleaning.

The caliber selected is perfect for short to midrange use as the bullet begins to tumble causing massive hydrostatic shock. Incompacitating an enemy taking two more soldiers out of the battle as he is helped off the feild.

OOC: I think you have an interesting writeup, but it is nessecary for you to explain how something works here if you want to get a lot of the sales. Your innovative flash hider that can also function as a suppressor, simply by flicking a switch on/off, how does that work? I can envision one or two solutions to the problems that presents, but I'd like to hear your explanation.

It sounds like a fairly complex, but good weapon. It would be difficult to clean; free floating moving barrel, roller-and-spring recoil dampeners, etc. In order to maintain 15,000 round reliability, you'd have pretty large gas ports to continually force the pistons back to cycle the action, and I'm not sure how well that'd work towards the "preventing the interior of the weapon from becoming fouled."

ooc: Excessive cleaning could be a big problem, but 1500 rpm, most machine guns can't shoot that fast, and this could be a standard issue infantry rifle.

OOC: It would seem that the average ROF is 600 RPMs, which is about normal for Infantry weapons, 600-800 that is. The cyclic rate may very well be 1800 RPMs, that's not unheard of, although for a weapon like this it would cause a break of something pretty damn quick.

But you know how obviously a silencer is a can strapped to the end of a barrel to have the expanding gasses collect within it? Well a small peice of metal is geared and attached to the switch. So when you pull it forward you pull the metal cover peice out of the way so the expanding gasses can enter the can.

I'll make an image on how it works in a few minutes but do you have an idea of what I mean?

At this moment? Incredibly.[Well its the G12 it should be at the top of the International Incidents area. I hope its what you are looking for, only problem with it is for its Calibre it has absolutely no recoil dampening at all.]

Yes I do, that was the explanation that I had worked out for myself as well. Good to see that you thought this through. Solid design, well done.

OOC Hint:! You should come up with a thread of your own, "New service assault rifle requested! Competition open for all producers of quality small arms!" opr something like that. That'll get you a dozen or so different guns to choose from.
