Today the High Council voted on whether or not to allow Communist Parties to be seen as a real party and be allowed to run for offices. After a long debate and voting process the act banning a Communist Party, the act was upheld. There where minor riots around cities but they where easily quelled by non-violent means. While the party of Communism is banned being a Communist is not. Anyone affliated with the party though cannot run for a goverment postion.
The reasoning behind this is since Zackaroth broke off from a serverly and now non-existing communist country. Some of this is still fresh in the mind of the older members of Zackaroth and even the High Leader himself, who helped Zackaroth gain its freedom from the old country. There has been rurmors though a radical communist group who has been slowly gaining power and waiting to overthrow the current goverment but so far nothing has be confirmed...
