Hatarian State News

Today in Tangalee, thousands came out to protest against The GASN and it's Heavy handed ways in the world.

"The GASN is becoming to much like The Corparate Alliance and The SL." said one Protester "They are Forceing nations to Bow down to THEIR ways!"

The Protesters Threw Eggs at the Craven Embassy and Burnt The Flags of GASN Member Nation and Shouting "LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE!"

The embassy had been pushed into lockdown, much like the Cravanian embassy in Northford had due to riots which had broken out. Marines manned the rooftops and balconies of the extravagent building, toting their M2's and MG55A3's in a defensive manner. Many of them laughed to themselves as eggs fell upon the embassy grounds, the guards outside covered in egg yolk as they made their patrols.

"Eggs?", one Marine asked his counterpart as they stood guard on a balcony. "Who the fuck eggs an embassy?"
"Apparently these people. Just be glad they aren't doing anything more destructive than ruining a few guards' uniforms and covering the gates and sidewalks in yolk."
"Pfft... What next, teepeeing the gates and some of our trees?"
"You never know. Just as long as they don't break out the gas or anything we should be okay. We've got Shadowcats to evac if we need to."

The roar of the crowd below continued to resonate throughout the area, the Cravanians in the embassy watching closely, waiting for a spark to light the keg...

The Democratic Empire never released a comment on the situation, as with GASN public relations. For now they would merely watch what happened, since there was no need to risk escalating the situation further.

The Protesters continued to Throw eggs at the Embassy while traffic rolled by, one Truck soon came near where The Protesters were and stopped.

What the People couldn't see were the Three Armed HatarCong Gurillia Fighters armed with Rocket Launchers in the Trailer of The Truck.

The Side of It soon opened Up and the Three Men aimed for their Target, The Craven Embassy. They fired their Rockets as The Protesters Ducked for cover.

IC: Icovir is saddened by the news of the attack on the Craven Embassy in Hataria. But, what can we do? Icovir will keep a close eye on the situation.

If Hataria needs any help repairing from the embassy attack, Icovir will be glad to donate some money and some Gnats.

_____The Dark Empire of Shazbotdom is disgusted at the people of Hataria for using weapons against a diplomatic building. The Marine Corps is herby put on standby and will help any GASN Member Nation evacuate their embasies. We will prepare several AC-01 Pelicans as well as several Thunderbolt class craft to help in any evacuations that will take place.

_____Using eapons against an Embasy could be considered an act of war, even if it is a group of civilians. Does the Empress of Hataria really want the Allies of Cravan to come down on her nation like a pack of rabbid dogs? We hope not. Make your people stop this needless bullshit.

"What's the status of the embassy staff?", the Emperor asked his cabinet as he sat at the head of the table in the conference room, operating on very little sleep seeing as it was just past three in the morning in Cravna.
"Everything and everyone's been evacuated from the embassy. Place has been sealed off from outside contact incase we want to reoccupy it at a later date, but for now all our people are headed for friendly territory on the Gloria del Imperio. Espada is on her way with escort to meet up with her and move back to holdings at Cayanace to reinforce her position. I'd say a Conqueror, a Hood, and the accompanying escorts is more than enough, although I doubt open hostilities with the Hatarian government."

The Emperor nodded in agreement. Conflict was unlikely, but still possible.

"Do we have some diplomatic staff who can negotiate some sort of deal with the Hatarian government? I will not rest until those fuckers who rocketed the embassy are filled with holes."

Some members of the cabinet were taken aback by the Emperor's use of words, but still managed to keep a sense of professionalism.

"I highly doubt that they'll agree to a military incursion, even only an Imperial Guard team or two. We can either do it in a joint op with them or do it behind their back."
"We may have to. But that's a last resort. In the meantime have one of the aides type up a communique to the international community. We can't just evacuate without releasing a statement."

Official Imperial Decree
The Democratic Empire of Cravan finds the attitude of the Hatarian and Dartian peoples distasteful, and completely unnecessary considering the circumstances. The Democratic Empire's embassy is a symbol of peace and prosperity, and of ongoing relations between the governments of Cravan and Hataria. Attacking such a structure is a low and dishonorable tactic, suited only for those who deserve the treatment of dogs.

Six Imperial Marines were lost during this terrorist attack, and fourteen others critically injured by the rocket propelled grenades. As a result, all military and diplomatic staff have been withdrawn from Hataria. A travel advisory has been put into effect warning Cravanian citizens from travelling to Hataria, and the Imperial government urges all citizens currently residing or vacationing in Hataria to vacate the nation immediately. It is a hostile environment for Cravanian citizens and citizens of the Empire's allies, and we urge all to consider the risks when travelling to Hataria.

The Democratic Empire requests that Hataria allow the immediate deployment of one airborne division to hunt down those responsible for this despicable terror attack on our sons and daughters who were serving in Hataria for the promotion of peace. We will negotiate terms for such a deployment, but the Democratic Empire cannot rest until every last member of this terror organization has met his end by either the bullet or the gavel.

We also publicly condemn the nation known as Dartia, and hereby revoke all diplomatic and economic ties with this nation for advocating this unwarranted attack on a diplomatic structure. All Dartian citizens currently residing in the Empire or her holdings are to be deported immediately to their homeland. Perhaps with time we can repair our relationship, but until this time Dartia is on a list of possible terrorist states, and will have a close eye kept on them.

Six sons and daughters of the Empire were lost today. We have every intention of ensuring they did not die in vain.

Dartia just now learned of the rocket attack on your nation's embassy in Hataria. We were under the false impression the Hatarians were merely throwing eggs, which I am sure you will agree is far less sinister.

Since we seem to have your attention, we wish to ask a question of the Cravan government. Naasha and Surdun are both Dartia's neighbors. We observed the peace negotiations between your nation and those countries. We would like to know why your nation's navy remains in the area after you signed a peace agreement in which you promised to leave?
