The nation of Holymonkia is a new nation that has risen from the ashes of The War Of Tragedies which consumed five nations. The war was about freedom vs slavery and many citizens of the five nations did not want war. However this did not stop the regimes. After an unknown destructive device was detonated the already crumbling regimes fell and the five warring nations collapsed. The survivors of the War were lost with millions who did not know what to do. Each of the survivors groups from the different nations elected leaders who came together to create the new nation of Holymonkia and who vowed the nation would never be responsible for so many innocent deaths. Society:
The society of Holymonkia is not perfect, to claim it is would be a lie as no society is perfect. The nation is built on mainly five different groups of peole and tensions from the war are still in the air. However large social changes have meant improved relations between the groups with festivals now celebrating the founding of Holymonkia and its multiculturalism.
Politics
Holymonkia is a democratic nation and has represenative democracy in place with Additional Member System (AMS) voting for General Elections. The legislature is made up of a Parliament with 237 MPs. Howeer there is a slight twist in that the executive is made up of Five leaders instead of one. This is so the workload of running a country can be spread and also each Leader represents one of the five national groups. They propose legislation after having private meetings but Parliament still votes for or agianst bills to stop a dictatorship occuring. The judiciary is the Supreme Court which is also elected nationally making sure there is a good seperation of powers.

The State run system has Science, Maths and English as the core system. Other subjects that are taught are History, Information Communications Technology, Design Technology, Geography, Languages. These are taught in Primary and Secondary education systems. The Primary System runs from the age of 3 to 11. The secondary runs from either 11 to 15, when students have the option of carrying on their education or entering the working world. If they carry on then they stay on until they are 18 where after finishing studies can go into the world of work or carry on into higher education. Private and Homeschooling are also options.
