Exceprt from a Borderton City Newspaper article, 'Threat From the Outside: Itsmineallmine Stockpiles on Nuclear Weapons and Mobilizes Army. Be Prepared!:
After many recent threats from Imperialist, Capitalist nations who managed to engage war on many communist allies' of Itsmineallmine, the Itsmineallmine government has announced a re-establishment of its nuclear weapons' program. The program had previously been discontinued for over 70 NS years, since the end of the Polar Congress', or formerly known as Polar Union; an alliance of many Polar regions, war with Imperial Germany. Itsmineallmine now has this and far superior technology, an economy that's over 4 times stronger (on GDP terms; per-capita it's about 3 times stronger) than the one during the previous war, and an army that's now more mechanised beyond the use of tanks and aircraft. It has one of the strongest military budgets in the former Polar Union (over $4 Trillion, just behind Nerobi Narraba at $8 Trillion, and Arrunia at $11 Trillion - both of which are allies) and the largest military by man-force (over 25 million troops).
To clarify, the Itsmineallmine government is not officialy communist, it's a mixture of anarcho-capitalism (and thus, all businesses are owned by a band of few conglemongerates anyway - all loyal towards the administration) and socialist interference (with our combined Welfare, Healthcare, and Education; or as we call the 'Welfare-state' budget, one of the largest in the former PU). Itsmineallmine has many ties with militarily rich nations, all with equally large suplies of Uranium and Plutonium. The re-established reactor is located in New Kesong, on the west coast of Itsmineallmine (it's a rather large island). It has established 25,000 new state-sector jobs all paying an average of $4,000 per month. But as well as this, their main function will be to the contribution of the nuclear weapons program. The plan is to build over 15 nukes within the next 5 NS years, which will be later mobilized accross the nation for the self-defence of Itsmineallmine - likely to be threatened by a capitalist enemy of one of our allies, this threat is imminent any day.
Army personel of various military schools and ranks are being mobilized across the country to prepare themselves for the prospect of the threat of war from the outside, mostly due to this great imminence. To prepare themselves from any economic disruptions, supplies of goods, services, and resources are being stockpiled as well by the government. The main priority is that these things go to the people first, since officials have access to foreign currency and products/services or have secured incomes already. The middle-class are the most likely to suffer, since under the governments eyes, they've little qualification and entitlement to anything due to their wealth and inimportance to society - they can fend for themselves.
Remember to always carry your official documentations with you on travelling towards other parts of the country to approach a bunker - you won't be able to go without it. As a security measure, the only food and drink you can take with you will be rice and water. No electronics equipment will be allowed.
