Invasion of Maldorians (CLOSED, ATTN Maldorians, and anyone else from Galmiria War)

(OOC: NO NEW ENTRIES DAMNIT!)

IC:

The Wanderjarians had fooled around long enough. Lord Governor Baker had grown tired of this conflict, and would now stop it at its source: Maldorian's homeland.

Admiral Reinhardt looked out across the expanse of the sea, watching from the deck of the WSS Reaver, a Wanderjarian Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier, which was the Grand Admiral's Flagship. He admired the deep red of the rising sun, as it grew over the horizon, oh so slowly.

"Dear god," He said, smiling, "Its beautiful."

"Sir?" His Aide, Colonel Williams asked. "Are you ready to begin?"

"Yes, Colonel," He replied. "Give those bastards hell."

The Wanderjarian Fleet had deployed weeks ago from New Prussia to Maldorians, and they had yet to be engaged. This good fortune was quite welcomed, as their lack of competence would make their downfall all the easier.

"Fire, Mr. Williams." He said.

"Aye, Herr Admiral."

Scores of battleships opened up with Naval Battaries, chewing up beach fortifications and near Coastal military positions. The nearly one hundred SSNs began launching cruise missiles to hit enemy airfields and installations, hoping eliminate aircraft, kill critical logistics personnel, instill the fear that only missiles could provide, and cripple the enemies ability to launch aircraft in response to his own, which would be scattering momentarily.

Wanderjarian Aircraft, F-88 stealth fighter bombers, F-99 Fighters, F/A-18 Fighter bombers, all began taking to the skies, and heading into Maldorians airspace, beginning to target enemy fortifications, government centers, and other areas of importance. As soon as enemy aircraft would take off, fighters would seek them out before they even had the chance to fight, and kill them all.

Flight Commander Johann Altieri, who was leading the flight operations, began coordinating strikes from the skies.

"RED GROUP, THIS IS REAPER-6. COVER US WHEN WE MAKE OUR BOMBING RUN, OVER." The Red Group leader acknowleged and moved his flight into position.

Marines and Army personnel began suiting up, preparing for combat. They would not make their landing, however, until the beaches had been cleared and chewed up enough for Wanderjarian soldiers to steamroll the enemy into the ground.

Brigadier General "Bull Dog" Baumer stood in the briefing room with his Marines.

"Today, we go into battle. As most all of you know, this is the ultimate test of heart, determination, and will to survive and over come your enemy. We shall, as we always have in the past! These pathetic Maldorians are worms! They do not deserve the honor of making war with us!" Cheers errupted from the ranks. "We're gonna slaughter them! We're going to paint their fields red with their blood! Generations from now will tell of how we annihilated them, and why we, WANDERJARIANS, should be feared! Now get ready boys! It's time to go to war!" With thunderous applause, the Marines stampeded to their equipment rooms, so as they prepped for combat, the minutes ticked by, moving closer to Zero Hour, when the Wanderjarian Army would make land fall....

And ss the thunder of aircraft, bombs, missiles, and Naval Gun shells filled the air, the Wanderjarians felt a sense of elation. This was their true calling, the true love of a German man: War. To them, it was an art form. Tactics, coordinating a better way of defeating your foe. Skill, Wanderjarian Armed Forces proving they were the best.

The forces of Maldorians would fall, they were certain of it.

OOC: This should be interesting. You should make an OOC thread for jerks like me who will spam this up real good *cringes at own grammar*

Current Mercenaries in Maldorian Service:
The Maldorian Mercenary 1st Army:

500,000 Infantry
100,000 Cavalry
-45,000 Challenger II Tanks (140,000 crew)
-95,000 Heavy Humvees and Other (160,000 crew)
100,000 Heavy
-Artillery, including M777 and PzH 2000 Howitzers and modified versions of M163s, 9K37s, and M270s

Logistical Support:
A force of this size naturally requires substantial logistical support, most of which shall be provided by the Maldorians. However, the force has brought over 50,000 trucks and 10,000 modified CH-53E Helicopters, along with plenty of supplies for them to ship.

Additional Mercenaries have yet to enter their service

IC: Mandalore Fett was pissed. He slammed his ivory table in rage. Why would Wanderjar be attacking us? Hastily, he called in his Military Council.

"As you can see, we have a problem on our hands."

"Set the suprises," announced the General of the Army.

"If we can keep them at bay(not really the bay, we don't have a bay) the suprises will prove most effective."

Everywhere throughout Maldorian, troops were getting ready to fight a new enemy...

When one runs the word together, it is typical to change the "mn" to "mm," making it phonetic.

Emporer Pudu

Pudite Prefecture One, Administration Compound One, Office of Emperor Pudu XLII
The Emperor looked over the small folder containing what information the Dominion had on the Maldorians. Resting next to it on the great oaken desk was a slightly thinker folder, with a red label on the front, ‘Wanderjar’. The folder itself was about two inches thick…

Standing before the Emperor was his compound’s diplomat, Mr. Grey, who was working two jobs while Mr. White was away. “Sir, it seems that… Wanderjar…” he said with a sigh, “Has initiated an invasion of the Maldorian homeland.”

The Emperor opened Maldorian’s folder, looking through a map feature and an estimated military strength document, “Well, good luck to them, we don’t care.”

Mr. Grey was not fazed by his commanders careless attitude, “So, sir, we’re just going to watch our allies slaughtered?” He spoke with a certaintly, betreying his throughts on the chances of the Maldorians to resist a Wanderjarian attack...

The Emperor looked up at his officer, a look of slight surprise on his face, “Why Mr. Grey, we are the Dominion, we need no allies.”

Mr. Grey stood, staring emotionlessly, processing every piece of information he received.

The Emperor spoke again, “It is settled then. We do not need the Maldorians anymore, and we will, even after it ends, maintain our advantage over Wanderjar. Their emperor is doing us a favor, in the long run…”

Flett Mastir Dreskov stood in the command bridge of the MPS Victory, a Daewoo class carrier. He had met with the Chancellor several weeks ago and smiled at the memory of being designated Supreme Commander of the Morgian-Joint-Forces.

"Look around you gentlemen...what do you see?"

The waters around the Victory were filled with the Morgian ships of war. And the Command Bridge was filled with top advisers.

"Our ships, sir."

"Exactly...the largest water invasion force ever launched by Morgiland."

A knock at the door brought an interruption to the conversation. The door was opened and an intelligence officer entered.

"We've reached the Maladore waters, shall we begin the air assault?"

"Yes, and instruct the Mastirs to begin softening up the beach defenses."

The bombing would go on for four hours, planes took off every twenty seconds, oil facilities, food and arms manufcaturing, Maldorians airbases all came under fire from the Morgian AirForse.

**********************************************************

It has come to my attention that your nation has fallen victim to an attack by that gnat Baker and his band of thugs. Well, do not fear, Griffincrest is here! So to speak, anyway. We have a brilliant young Neo-Erusean commander who has been just itching to do something. The 73rd Infantry Division is prepared to be airlifted to Maldorians upon opening of an airbase, but that will not be enough to hold off the Wanderjarian offensive. We ask that you transfer an entire army group to Cmdr. Townes' command, so that he can use his expertise to your benefit. We will need to know the size and equipment of the army group.

- 1,000 5 ton trucks

Blub 1st Fleet

A wall of ships spread approximately a half kilometer from each other churned through the waves, heading towards the Morgiland taskforce from the rear. The ships were older, LaFayette and Kidd class destroyers in the lead followed by the heavier Virginia and Ticonderoga class cruisers. Behind those were a trio of big warships, their sleek outlines revealing them to be ancient Essex class aircraft carriers. Behind them came more destroyers and cruisers in the classic O-formation based around the carriers themselves protectively.

In the bridge of the center Essex, BNS Air Blub, a Blub wearing a navy cap with Admiral's insignia and puffing on an unlit corncob pipe stared out of the windows with binoculars, not seeing anything. Another Blub squeaked, "Admiral, RADAR detects the enemy fleet approximately thirty miles due north. Seems they just sent their aircraft inland."

The CAG spoke up, "I reccomend we launch a sortie immedietly while their jets are away on the mission. Hit 'em in the butt now and show 'em they can't shoot down our scout planes without reprisal."

Outside on the deck of the Air Blub, planes were being positioned for take-off. They didn't use catapults, but instead.. the old airplanes lined up and took off down the runway as if it were a regular airfield. In long strings of aircraft, the planes took to the sky and circled the fleet twice while formations were set.

Then, they went north.

The Blub aircraft are much smaller than modern jets, and have nowhere near the same RADAR or heat return. Rather, the squadrons of F6F Hellcats with their single-engine propeller aircraft would probably avoid notice, perhaps being mistaken for nothing more than a flight of birds at long distance.

Even for sailors looking at the sky, the tiny specks, moving slowly (Compared to a jet) along might be mistaken for seagulls. And of course, among the formation of Hellcats were a number of Avengers.

Essex Air Group, somewhere near the enemy

Out ahead of the formations were sea planes. The planes had three crew members each, the navigator and spotter doing the looking while the pilot did the flying. They were looking down, mostly.

Finally, they could see it.. white lines in the water faaaar below indicating the presence of the enemy fleet. One of the navigators went over the radio, "Contact! Grid Eight Nine by Seven Ten. I see flattops!"

The Hellcats and Avengers went to full power, flaps closing to combat positions. They climbed higher, then the Avengers began to peal away from the sortie group. The first fourty Avengers descended sharply, dropping down to near sea level and buzzing towards the enemy ships in the distance. At the range of three kilometers, they each released two torpedos, which hit the water and kicked on.

The torpedos immedietly sped up to 65 knots and proceeded straight forward. About half of them were aimed at the enemy aircraft carriers, the other half aimed at the supply/munitions ships that Morgiland had to have present to sustain their carrier operations to such a degree.

Meanwhile, out towards the edge of the Morgiland fleet away from the bigger ships, more Avengers suddenly pointed their noses towards the ocean and went into dives. The Avengers whistled as they fell out of the sky, before pulling up smoothly as they dropped their bombs, effectively sending nearly a hundred 450lb dumb bombs towards the decks of the ships at the outer edges of Morgiland's fleet.

O RLY?! Funny. When it was my one airplane, you had no problem shooting it down, and guess what? I didn't say "OMG I DON'T LIKE LOSING MY PLANES I IGNORE YOU!" did I? Nope. I just continued to play along, and you continued to acknowledge me.

NOW however, when it's closer to being a FAIR fight, you don't want me involved? That's very shitty and low-life of you. Are you training under Sephrioth? Are you Hataria's apprentice? You're prefectly willing to acknowledge me being in a story as long as you can bully my ONE, unarmed airplane around. Don't worry though. When Wanderjar gets on, I'm sure he'll acknowledge that since I was involved in the other thread, I'm welcome here. And you'll be FORCED not to "OMGZ I IGNORE U BECAUSE U OUTSMARTED MEEE!11ONE1" bullcrap that Hataria pulls every other day.

On board the Morgian Command Ship

Flett Mastir Dresden sat red faced and sullen, deep in an interior room beneath the waterline of the MPS Victory . Illuminated in front of him on close circuit televisions were the various commanders of the Morgian ships.

"These Blub bastards will regret ever attacking THE Fatherland. I want the 5 carriers that are not currently on missions to send up their JuggenHawks...I want the Buckler CWISs to begin firing immediately."

The Flett Mastir paused as two loud explosions erupted overhead."Whats going on out there?"

"Two carriers just went down...along with their support." Came the reply from the Mastir Genrael of a Mastir Class Battle Ship.

"Damn, I'm calling in the 5th fleet from reserve. And I want the submarines here now, to attack the Blub Carriers and then form a protective barrier around the fleet.

That's all...get it done."
The General stood and saluted his commanders.

"For the Fatherland," Was echoed amongst all the Genraels, as their video feeds were cut.

Aboard the MPS Black Cat

"We've just passed into range, Mastir Genrael."

The naval commander smiled as he turned to his spotter. "Release 4 torpedoes and two cruise-missiles."

"Aye-Aye"

This same scenario was played out over 600 times in the Morgian Submarine Fleet. This was going to be a massive attack, and the men were anxious for revenge.

The fleet had slipped into range of the Blub Fleet with relative ease, no visible underwater defenses had been detected and the attack was given the go-ahead.

A massive explosion of air bubbles shot into the water as over 3,000 projectiles were released from the submarines.

"Pull back..." Came the command from the Mastir Genraels as their ships had loosened their payloads.

Above Water

The Buckler CWIS systems had been firing into the sky non-stop, locking onto targets and sending the missiles after the slow Blub planes. The JuggenHawks had taken off with a deadly effectiveness. They Morgian Fighter Jets shot off 4 Air-to-Air cruise missiles at the Blub planes.

With their missiles gone the Morgian planes circled, the Blub planes. Sending bursts of fire from their double machine guns.

The water battle had begun.

MORGILAND AND BLUB STOP SPAMMING AND LISTEN TO Frisbeeteria

OOC: .... O_o

Above The Enemy

The Hellcats were breaking off, wings dipping into combat rolls and Immlemen(sp) loops. In one of the Avengers, a Blub squinted down towards the black smoke pouring out of a wrecked enemy carrier. He triggered the radio, "Scratch two flattops!"

And high above that, a seaplane was slowly circling, painted robin's egg blue to blend in with the sky as the navigator and spotter recorded the battle. The navigator was chattering on his own radio, "Confirm! Two flattops. I see at least a dozen ships burning from the divebombers, and the munitions ships are on fire." The air shook slightly, as one of the Morgiland ammunition ships exploded spectacularly. "Encountering air support. RTB!"

The Avengers nosed south, and went back towards their own carriers, moving at an angle to a waypoint, then making a turn to link up. Thus, not flying -straight- back to their carriers, an old trick.

The Hellcats however, circled and dogfought with the enemy jets. The enemy's missiles seemed to be having trouble locking onto the little propeller-driven Blub planes, as the missiles would tend to see a much stronger 'contact' with the Morgiland jets in the backround. Most of the missiles were either exploding automaticly when they lost lock-on, or zipped right past the little Blub fighters.

Hits were made however, and the Morgiland fighters found their machineguns more effective. Soon enough, there were dozens of little parachutes in the sky with Blubs dangling from them. Streaks of black smoke curled in the wind, showing where fighters had gone down in flames before crashing into the seas.

However, being slow had its advantages. The turns the Blubs made were very tight, and the supersonic jets would have only a fraction of a second to fire with their guns before the Hellcats were out of the targeting rings. The Hellcat pilots fought on bravely despite superior technology, using their tighter turning ability and making dives towards the jets, their guns blazing.

The Blub 1st Fleet

The submarines encountered no resistance. Of course, submarines don't have windows.. so their sensors would note their torpedos speeding along through the water towards the Blub fleet.

The cruise missiles proved effective, many of them hitting. Destroyers and cruisers were wrecked, and most of those light ships actually hit began to sink. The carriers however, being in the center of the formation.. saw much fewer missiles, and as a result.. only one was critically damaged, a cruise missile hitting the ship's wooden deck and exploding an aviation fuel bunker. The ship caught fire, and while emergency crews battled it, the rest of the crew began to evacuate.

-- As for the torpedos.. the Morgiland submarines would detect the torpedos exploding for some reason as they reached the outer-ring of the Blub formation. The front row of destroyers were devestated, but for some reason.. the torpedos went no further.

The Blub fleet turned, and began to retreat southwards. Destroyers that had been in the rear of the formation sped forward quickly, 'pinging' with SONAR. On the backs of the destroyers, special devices began to launch depth charges into the water.

Honestly? We are doing this for honor. The foul enemy, Morgiland attacked one of our recon planes several weeks ago and destroyed it for no good reason. Thus, we take our revenge. Our fleet is heavily damaged, and we are withdrawing.

Flett Mastir Dresden stood with a smile and watched the Blub Fleet retreat.
"The cowards are retreating. Call in the bombers...I want the entire area behind the Blub ships blown to pieces.

Send out the JuggenHawks as well, and I'm calling off the 5th fleet but bringing in Two Carriers."

The men on the video screens smiled and removed themselves from the conversation with a salute to their commander.

On the Flight Deck of the MPS Victory

"Turning on engines...all checks complete...take off is a go."

The JuggenHawk zoomed off the floating air field and into the deep blue. The pilot circled once, twice, three times. All the while floating higher and higher into the sky as more and more planes joined him.

The massive aeronautic fleet careened South. They we're outfitted with 4 cruise missiles, and of course the double machine guns.

As the fighter jets made there way south a group of 400 B-1 Atlas Bombers flee several thousand feet below. Dropping 450 pound bombs into the ocean, a massive explosion was heard and then followed up by an even large boom from the depth charges.

"Blub fleet in sight...release missiles, target the carriers and munitions." Over 4,000 cruise missiles were released from the Morgian fighters. Once the fighters had released their payload half retreated back to the fleet while the others circled lazily overhead.

There was no firing, no burst of machine gun fire. Then a massive roar came from the North, the Morgian bombers had kept half their bombs and were now releasing them upon Blub carriers.

With the emergence of the bombers the remaining Morgian fighters careened into a dive. Machine guns blazing they targeted the crews on the carriers sent to put out fires from the bombs and missiles.

With their mission complete the JuggenHawks made their way back to the fleet, smiling all the while.

Blub 1st Fleet

Dozens of the cruisers had been outfitted earlier as gunships in preperation of an air attack. Cruise missiles weren't too much different than shooting down a jet, really. Although less accurate, the guns on the cruisers, destroyers and even the carriers had much greater range.

Soon enough, the sky was complerely filled with black clouds of flak. Shrapnel ripped into the skins of the missiles and many of them began to explode. The far bigger explosions of the cruise missiles served to knock out even more of the enemy cruise missiles due to concussion and shrapnel. Some of the incoming missiles turned, targeting the bright fireballs.. which showed up as MUCH better targets than the weak thermal target of the Blub ships.

Even still, the missiles began to get through and hit several cruisers, which for the most part.. absorbed the damage fairly well at first. Then, even more missiles slipped through the flak net and damaged other ships or completely crippled those already hit.

The enemy fighters and bombers would also encounter the flak though, long streams of tracers cutting through the air, intersecting and slicing at the enemy jets and bombers. It was a nightmare to fly through, a mixture of everything from quad .30 caliber machine guns right up to the big 10 inch guns on the cruisers. The 3.5 inch, 4 inch, 4.7 inch and 6 inch guns were particuarly dangerous, being able to drop a high-tech fighter jet in one shot.

From the bombers view, they would see the carriers down below taking sharp turns, leaving S and C shaped trails in the water as they dodged about, guns pointing nearly straight up to fill the sky with death, even as bombs fell around them.

Another Essex was hit multiple times, flames spewing from holes in the flight deck. The one Essex still moving also had smoke pouring out of holes, but was maintaining forward power.

The destroyers continued to drop depth-charges, while others trailed behind the fleet.. firing round-shaped canisters into the water. These canisters would float on the surface and about fifteen feet under, in the wake of the Blub fleet.. which retreated south.

The Morgian fighters pulled off, their war was not with the Blubs. The Blub Fleet was far out to sea by now. And in the wake of a heavy tide the barrels were of no harm to the Morgian Fleet.

With the Blubs gone Morgiland could focus it's undivided attention on the riddance of the Maldorians...

Aboard amphibious personnel carriers

The water sprayed up in great waves and soaked the 50,000 Morgian Dragoons coming in the first wave. Sergants encouraged their men to be brave and to perform well for the Fatherland.

"Keep your heads down!" Came the command as machine gun fire began to pepper the water's edge around the Morgians.

THUD!

"Every body out...I'm calling in support on those guns. Establish a beach head...move!"

The cracking of small-arms-fire was all around. The artillery barrages from the ships anchored just off the coast began to pound into the rocky formations above the Morgians.

"Maintain your intervals!" Screamed Sergants, as the pounding continued and the Morgians moved forward. They quickly began to move forward, beginning to move from bunker to bunker.

The Sea

Left behind were the abandoned, sinking ships. The Blubs collected those who abandoned ship, and disappeared over the horizon. The area of water was thick with oil slicks, wreckage.. the mines left behind and tattered torpedo nets, which had done their job of protecting most of the fleet from submarines.

Offshore

Many miles east of the Morgiland landing site, a single amphibious assault craft surged through the waves towards the beach. From the radio antenna flew a Blub flag, white with a green sunburst in it. If one were to look down into it, they would see several dozen helmets sitting on Blub heads.

First of all, I have faced many more fearsome opponents than you, therefore do not make the mistake of believing for a moment you intimidate me. I am back for weekends, therefore until tommorrow night, I am back. It is on. First of all, please respond to those massive attacks I made on you, as you have never done this. Regardless of whether or not I was forced to take temporary leave, you must respond to it, as the RP is far from dead.

After you have responded, I shall make my next move.

You had several allies in this anyhow. Besides, why? You seemed confident you could defeat me before in the Galmiria thread. Why all of a sudden you so afraid?

He quoted me from another thread. And seeing as he has me and a few others breathing down his throat, plus i'm going to send a message to AMF to initiate help in reguards to activating the GASN/Gholgoth MDP for what he's doing to TWSP.

Yeah. He's afraid I bet.

Mate, I do not believe I need assistance to take him down. One on One, I will win. So asking AMF is not worth the time (but I'm sure everyone with ties to these conflicts thanks you, as do I. I know not how they feel, but that is my opinion.....)

Ah, gotcha. Go for it. I'm landing a million men here, (And have about the same headed for Blackhelm), so according to my standing military chart, I shouldn't send any anywhere else (lest face economic consequences.....). Thus, you'll have to make due with those GSG-9 teams I have there.

Otherwise, I'll cut the root of the problem: His own territory.
