Global Space Program (Interest and OOC)
Hey everybody.
This is the thread for interest in a Global Space Program.
The idea is it is an MT level program, with the interest of advancing all nations involved to at least PMT levels, if not farther.
It will work great as a thread for cooperating with other nations and pooling resources togethor to test out new technologies before implementation.
What does everyone think?

As a nomadic people, we New Ishtarians wish to join the Republic of Kanami in voicing interest in the space program.
Perhaps one day we may raise our elephant herds in another planet.

What kind of space program do you have already?
Right now, we use a laser ignition based system. Expensive to build, but extremely cheap to maintain.
We like it, but are looking into the feasibility of the space plane.
We launch private craft regularly, and recently began assemlbling government owned research labs. The military has begun a troop transport project so that our armored "Space marines" can get anywhere on earth in an hour.
We have had limited space defenses, but the military is also looking to expand upon that with greater orbital superiority and defense technology.
Your thoughts?

There are no planets in our solar system suitable for elephant herds. But the idea of a space based colony is quite feasible within the next two centuries.
It'd be about square mile, wrapped in a tube and spinning to use centifugal force as gravity. Your elephants herds and other agricultural accomplishments would be most appreciated orbiting the moon and feeding everyone who works around Earth's space.

The Allied States of Dai Yuddha Ossyria is extremely interested in this project. Our current space program is based on Ariane 5 rockets. Alone, our nation does not have the resources to send astronauts into space or maintain a space station, only satellites. We look forward to pooling our resources together and advancing science.

I'm in. So far I've got several sattelites, a rocket system being reformed, and the military is considering military sattelites.
