After a great length of disgust and hatred between two nations which has involved several brief skirmishes after clashes between Clandonian and Ackistani foreign policy.

It was decided, after the peace deal the Ackistanis settled between the Naashans freeing the four Clandonian servicemen after the Clandonian military invasion. A delelgation was sent composing of Clandonias five top diplomats, the Clandonian Airforce 747-400 took off from the underground strip at Minskian heading towards for the first time to Ackistan on a non-combat mission.

The aim was to have talks and discuss the urgent situation towards the East of Ackistan and the ongoing situation with Blainsville.

The diplomats hoped, their talks would work well as they knew Clandonia was viewed with great distrust in Ackistan.

OOC: Yeah that issue, I still want a slice of that land, I think if we agree to limit the number of forces we can have in each zone and restrictions on heavy artilery and WMD.

I wont have more than 70,000 guys and assorted weapons at any time (except maybe war) and, as for WMDs, you are the only one in the region who stockes them.

I don't know about TWSP is running his protectorate, but Trivalvia is running West Blainesville as a semi-autonomous protectorate, with the ultimate aim of seeing the country rule itself before too long. I don't think there will be any agreement from the population to let their land be handed over to someone who nuked them. Just a thought...

The Clandonian aircraft was directed to land at Rickenbacker Air Force base, which was 15 miles north of the capital. As the Clandonian delegation departed their aircraft, they were met by Vincent McNeil (undersecretary of state) and an Ackistani color guard. As greetings and salutations were exchanged, a military marching band began to play Ackistan’s and Clandonia Prime’s respective national anthems.

After a few minutes of pleasantries, the Clandonian delegation was ushered to a nearby hanger, where a motorcade of six black SUV’s and four police motorcycles were waiting to take them to the capital.

As the motorcade made its way to the capital, Vincent went over the delegation’s itinerary. They would be delivered to the illustrious Angoria Hotel, where they would have a few hours to get settled and clean up. Later in the afternoon, the diplomats would be meeting Ackistan’s Secretary of State, Angelina Whittaker.

There was a an awkward moment of silence as the delegation passed what used to be Ackistan’s Supreme Court building. A demolition crew was busy tearing the building down as the building had been largely destroyed by Clandonian bombers just a few months prior.

Rickenbacker Air Force base

The landing was done well, even though the aircraft was probed with radar while it landed, the pilots felt safe seeing no following fighters. The delegation saw the damage Clandonian bombers had done to the Ackistani capital, a tinge of shame appeared on their faces. As all five of them were Military Officials as part of the government they realised what they had done. The officials were made to feel very welcome at the hotel, they changed into formal number two clothing, military clothes showing the various ribbons and awards the Generals and Commanders had been awarded.

They prepared the list of notes they had been asked to discuss, a list from the problems in the World Soviet Party, Blainsville, the ongoing CA vs GASN conflict and the Griffenfest Corporations actions in Ackistan itself.

After giving the Clandonian delegation a few hours to settle in, the motorcade assembled once again in front of the hotel. Secret Service agents scurried about escorting the diplomats to their vehicles while keeping gawkers a good distance away.

20 minutes later, Clandonia's diplomatic envoy was passing through the iron gates of Ackistan's capital building. While the capital building was over 70 years old, its white marble exterior was as immaculate as ever.

Soon, Clandonia's diplomats found themselves being greeted by various members of Ackistan's State Department as they we being ushered to the "Green Room". Along the way; portraits of great Ackistani leaders, antiques, and historical artifacts were on display.

Upon reaching the "Green Room", the delegates were welcomed by Ackistan's aging Secretary of State, Angelina Whittaker, along with two of her aids. Soon, they were seated at a large mahogany conference table.

"Tell me what brings you to Ackistan?" she asked.

'We wish to end the hostilitie and anger towards your nation, after the mediation of your talks with Naash.' Spoke the tall General Vincents, commander of the 4th Armoured Bridagades M55 units.

"We agree. The continuation of hostilities is in the best interest of no one. Our nation's biggest concern is your nuclear aresenal. If your nation would agree to an arms reduction treaty geared to limit both of our nation's nuclear arsenals, we believe it would help our relations tremendously" - Angelina Whittaker

'Indeed, with the dieing down the larger wars we will be putting down some 400 nuclear warheads into storage, reducing our active supply to just over 800. The nuclear arsenal will gradually be degraded as time goes on and we develop a fully functioning ABM and space warfare system.'

After taking a few notes...

"As of present, we have washed our hands of Blainesville. That nation is no longer our problem. We believe Trivalvia and The World Soviet Party are perfectly capable of keeping Blainesville under control.

Given our past relations, we are not comfortable with the idea of awarding you land so close to our nation. We also suspect the citizens of Blainesville would resist your government if you were to occupy part of that nation.

Given your nation has no prior land claims in our region, we cannot endorse any treaty, which would allow your nation to establish a presence in Europe.

However, if you have any compelling arguments, which you feel would change our minds, we would be glad to hear them." - Angelina Whittaker

"Ackistan's state of affairs is good. Crime is low. Our schools are doing a fabulous job educating our citizens. Our economy is stable, and we have even paid off our war debt. International relations have never been better. With tensions between your nation and GASN on the decrease, our people have little to fear.

The Corporate Alliance has never really shown an interest in conquering our nation. We have no significant oil deposits within our economic zone, and our overseas oil investments are well protected." - Angelina Whittaker

In times of crisis we have always worked things out, one day there will be green grass on the plains of Clandonia.

2. Ackistan's military forces will not approach within 200 miles of Clandonia Prime's borders and vice versa.

'We agree to all but the last point, that size is to small, the Corporation is selling larger devices if we banned them it would damage the economy.

At this point, the delegates shook hands, the 747-400 was begining its pre-flight checks ready for take off as soon as the Clandonian delegation arrived, homeward bound they would refuel over Scandanavia before heading under Clandonian Airforce Escourts for home.
