South Lizasauria knowibng the risks of a nuclear war between Leafistan and South Lizasauria, they knew that they should fire the first shot if they were to take less damage. The South Lizasaurian council declared war on Leafistan, and threatened to nuke them if they tried to retaliate from the first blast which according to intelligence was not South Lizasaurian

The navy moved in to sink any Leafistani ships on the border. And sent some ships to attack the shores. The large air force of the South Lizasaurian empire patrolled the seas and the borders. INTEL begins removing more privacy rights in order to identify everyone so the government would be able to find terrorists quickly. Phones are tapped internet connections are snooped on and hidden cameras are placed into homes by officials posing as maintenance workers.

Livid: I will only fight a defensive war, if any long range weapons are launched then nuclear war is ineivitable...If these Leafistani parasites continue their atrocities we will move in with force and our armed forces will "barbecue them"
I think this will keep them from doing anything else against the empire for now.

South Lizasauria already had its borders shut off with modern weaponry, however being an interplanetary hegemony it had a nasty surprise in store for Leafistan. They waited until the moment they least expected. A fleet of over a thousand Warbirds (highly dangerous battleships) were in orbit and began firing their plasma cannons at the cities. Each blast destroying everything withing a 100ft radious. Plasma gattling cannons and batteries for quickly destroying any other units that came near (including missiles) were part of the ship. 10 ships entered the atmosphere obliterating everything in their path. Their mission was to create a clear path for ground and other air forces to the capitol to capture the leaders. The mafia would be wiped out of existance altogether.

OOC: 199,670,266 + 3,973,297,333 You cannot afford a standing military over 4 billion unless you have a population of 80 billion. And currently you are at: 1.212 billion. So your air/space force already exceeds your means to support.

Also you told me you were PMT, not FT. FT and PMT don't mix unless a previous agreement was made.

OOC: Oh please, most of us have done it soon after they are born, I'm probably one of the latest, state sponsored military education starting at age 4.

Kraven takes it one step further, birth them in the military.

Besides, you can't put your entire population into the military.

No. That is 50% of your population not 5% and in a PMT army there is a 1:2 soldier to logistics ratio in the army, 1:5 in the navy and airforce. As for space unit it is very high.

Also what are these units?

Especially in the navy, I need detailed specs on them.

As for space forces, there are far too many and severly reduces the strength of your fleet.

Even if you have 40 million army units, how are you going to movethem? How do you feed them? Where dot hey sleep?

As for 60.6 million men military, only at most 20.2 million are 'fighting' men, the rest are logistics, military police, chefs, doctors, truck drivers, tank drivers, navigators, and various other non-directly combat units.

OOC: yeah, but you don't send them into battle. When I hit your base of operation with infantry they can run into battle. But they won't be able to use specialized weapons like RPGs and ATGMs well. And most likely I'll bomb the base to hell with Fuel Air Bombs.

Just make detailed listing of your naval fleet and I'll get al isting of mine and we'll duke it out offshore first, then you send in an invasion fleet alright?
