While being vastly outnumbered, we are sure that the infinite valour of our Imperial troops will eventually win the day. This is not your concern, what may concern some of the more compassionate of you is the civilian death toll of this unjust war.

As of 00:00 this morning, the civilian death-toll stood at nearly two thousand innocents. Average people struck by Clandonian bombs and space-weaponry, they have been forced from their homes, many of them killed by indiscriminate, cold blooded commandos from Clandonia, who are too cowardly to go up against people who could fight back.

Our request is simple, nations of the world, open your borders to the Naashan refugees who flee from the barbarous invaders of their homeland. Kindness you show us now will be repayed double in the future!

While many Imperial leaders are staying with our forces in Naasha, the Jade Empress and many figures within her government have decided to leave the homeland, for the safety of everyone involved. Any nation that would be as gracious as to shelter them until this war is concluded will be regarded as a staunch ally of Naasha and rickly rewarded in the future.

There is only one real political party in Naasha: Imperialist. The Imperialists have the country in an iron grip, a mostly benevolent dictatorship. There are small splinter cells of communists and republicans, but these would be arrested on trying to leave the country, so no disputes will arise overseas.

The Republic of Kanami will gladly be a safe haven for thoes seeking saftey. Our allies will likely be up to it as well.

The Imperial family understands your plight and is willing to take in any members of your family in our protection and shall take in any loyalists of your nations to the Empire. As well, we shall grant you an Imperial palace for your own and shall grant your family one billion (1.56 billion USD) Darvians a years as a allowance.

We're very glad that you have accepted our offer. If you wish, you shall be offered an entire wing in the Imperial Palace in Super City, and be allowed to stay within these quarters for as long as you wish.

We have several high standard living quarters for refugees around the city; these range from 2 bedroom single story condominium complexes to larger 4-6 bedroom two-story dwellings with the necessary amenities one would expect. The Imperial Congress has approved a large sum to cover the costs for an entire year.

The last of the message, a plea from what seemd to be a dying Empire, resonated across the Council chamber. Silence fell throughout the domed enclosure and across the 21 figures sitting around a large round table. A fist slams on the sturdy granite table like a hammer...

"Damned uneasy is what it makes me! Why the Hell should we give aid to a bunch of imperialists? My forefathers didn't die in the Revolution for us to allow their kind in again!" Councilman Theodore Jax. Bombastic. Arrogant. Isolationist. And a brilliant leader.

"And my forefathers didn't die in the Revolution for us to turn our backs against those in need! I'll remind you, Councilman, we were all refugees to this land once." Coucilwoman Padma Surlu. Young, just as brilliant, but compassionate and centered. The fire to Jax's ice. Many of the personalities in the Central Council were, not unitnentionally, conflicting. But they were all heads of their Federations and fine representatives of their respective Autonomous Regions. On the shoulders of these 21 rested all the international decisions of what was otherwise a somewhat isolationist nation. Otherwise, they had no real power.

"Agreed," Councilman Arthur Solarii, the eldest and most respected of the group, and this year's Speaker. "We are a compassionate nation and this is a direct call for aid. We need not get involved in politics to house refugees, and we have more than enough capacity to absorb them. The ruling house of that land will just have to get used to our ways, and the fact that here, they will wield no power, be given no palace, and will abide by our laws. All in favor?"

The Ayes had it, 11 to 10. A message was drafted and relayed to Naasha.

However, upon entering our borders we ask that your Empress relinquish all rights as political leader of the refugees. We recognize that while she will always be the cultural and moral leader of your people within our lands, she cannot lead them politically whenver her leadership conflicts with the laws of our land. All will be free to live as they so choose within the confines of Sunyan law and he and any of your citizens will be free to leave whenever they so choose.

That said, all are welcome with open arms and we will work to see to their safety and welfare while living in Sunya.

Since several of these islands are uninhabited, and measure several miles wide on average, feel free to fill them up. Your citizens will be safe inside of border patrols, and we can provide for them tents and food.

It has been made mention that many of them are farmers. I am going to suggest to our agricultural industries that they etsablish farms immediately for your people so they may feed themselves and produce income. The islands will be developed and your people will have control over the quality of their food, rather than getting rations from our stores.

We can also pledge 500 million dollars of last month's foreign trade income (money given by other nations to us).
In the meantime, if your government officials, such as the Jade Empress, are still on the run, we can house them all in bunkers on one of our developed islands.

Transport vessels, aircraft and escorts are available to begin evacuating said refugees to Sunya whereupon their personal information will be collected at processing centers. This information will be used to insure families, next-of-kin, and other personal associates are kept together. Refugees will then be transported to various temporary housing centers thorughout Sunya before being connected with proper and long-term housing, sustenance and livelihood.

He has no problem launching squadrons of multi-billion dollar ships, not realizing each conventional rocket/space shuttle launch costs 2 billion dollars each. he has no idea how much a computer guided chunk of metal as big as the ones he is using would cost or even what it takes to make them. And he thinks that a simple metal box with convential weaponry would cost just as much money as one of his space shuttles, but at the same time not be able to do as much damage...

So CP is a god-moder. You'd be better off forgetting he was even part of the invasion force.

OOC: He has agreed to keep to conventional warfare against me for now, I find his large troop deployments a little frustrating as it kills the rp to be completely overrun by thousands of men.

But I still find it enjoyable rping with him, and we can usually resolve any differences of opinion quite easily.

It itself it a few miles out of parliamentary capital of Valdra where the palace resides on an estate of 425 acres. On which the palace consists of 35 luxurious bedrooms, 2 grand imperial bedrooms. 80 bathrooms, 12 libraries, 2 private museums, 8 studies, 1 ball room, 2 throne rooms, 3 rech rooms, 4 tennis courts, 1 eighteen hole golf course, 6 saunas, a hall of historical sculptures, a 2100 square foot swimming pool, and 40 acres of gardens, Further, the area shall be protected by a regiment of 500 of the Imperial guard who are hand picked for their loyalty first to the Emperor above all and are amongst the most fearsome troops in the world.

The Nationsates forums aren't like the Nationstates game, here you just say what is going on and work it out with other people.

For example: My people are going into exile, which I decided would happen and posted here, because another nation decided he was going to invade me. This doesn't mean he gets my country or anything on the Nationstates game, it just means that when I post here, I have to bear in mind that my nation is being attacked.

The Maraquean government has reopened the recently closed Ancient Imperial Palace in the Vorencia district of Super City for the officials from Naasha to occupy.

Currently a fleet of 60 government owned jets are on their way from various points of lift off in Maraque to Naasha to pick up the 200,000 refugees and the officials with them. They are being escorted by military air patrols. We'll do our best to avoid the danger zones, and we hope you arrive safely.

We find it disgusting that the Naashan government turns for help after its forces invaded the Surdun killing many thousands of civillians and their forces commited mass ethnic clensing levels. The whole reason of the Clandonian invasion was to rid the world of this frightful government who we protest should never be allowed to seek refuge in any civilised country. In general, the Roanians have little interest in the struggles between the 'lesser' nations. However, their curiousity can be piqued, and occasionally simple altruism wins out over contempt. Such an occasion is visible when an amazingly small nation is attacked and threatened with obliteration by two much larger nations.

Larger being a relative term, of course, as the nations combined make up less than half the population of the Divine Imperium.

Open Communication to the nations of Crandonia Prime, Cravan and Naasha

It's our understanding that there's been a spot of conflict between the three of you. All well and good, these things happen, etc, etc. Yeah. We'd like that to stop now. If the nations involved will permit us to mediate, we believe we could end this without further loss of life. If the nation of Naasha is willing to mediate, yet the nations of Crandonia Prime and Cravan are not... well, that would be unfortunate. Most unfortunate.

The question is not one of 'right or wrong', we feel, but one of simple common sense. At what point does the punitive action go over the line? We submit that it has already reached that point, and that the nations of Crandonia and Cravan have slipped into being the aggressors. Your recent actions in threatening the lives of civilians have erased your moral high ground considerably. Do not suppose that just because our forces are not sufficiently mobilised to interfere yet that they cannot be within that territory within the month. Of course, we'd all prefer to avoid that.

Our country is always willing to mediate! Our military can stop its advance in minutes providing that the Naashan forces withdraw from the ocupied South and give back the 4 Clandonian sailors that they have mistreated with torture and execution threats. We gave them a chance and they did nothing!

Naasha would be most happy to mediate, however in order for that to happen we call for the complete withdrawal of all Clandonian forces in the Empire. We also demand that Cravan withdraws it's navy at least 100 kilometres from the coast of Surdun.

While any assistance you'd like to send would be welcome, I think you need to review your troop numbers and technology levels. There is no way a nation like yours could afford to support 600 F-22's and Aircraft Carriers and such.

Ships are created in ship yards, and are sailed over. The fighter jets aren't even in Naasha, they haven't left Korshe and won't unless they have to. There are many ammunition factories, draft boards, and military bases all over Korshe. Its not a question of only having 16 million people and a little under 2 million of them soldiers, I draft all men. All men of all ages. When they enter the coutry and become a citizen, if they are not under 15 years of age, they are taken right to the military training centers.

My point was that if that many men are in the military:

Who produces food?
Who procures raw materials?
Who runs industries and business?
Who is educated? Because being drafted at 15 means that you are going to have some pretty uneducated citizens.

There wouldn't be enough left of your poulation to support itself.

The Democratic Empire does not condone the actions of the Clandonians concerning the threatening of civilians in the slightest bit, and is considereding refusing their support. (which, of course, will not in the slightest bit stop them from achieving their imperialist ambitions) Our objectives are the ejection of the Naashans from Surdun. We have pledged that we will not move any further than the border with Surdun, and are only in the area to protect the rights and sovereignty of the Surdunni people. We will gladly oblige Roania's request of mediation, but our demands are simple: the immediate evacuation of Surdun by Naashan forces, and the return of all POW's.

We hope that the Roanians ((?)) understand our intentions are not of harm against the Naashan people, but are of aid to the Surdunnis. We do not agree with the Clandonian tactics or actions, and are threatening them with the cut off of diplomatic contact if this persists. The Scandinavian Jet, and it's escort were currently docked at the terminal building of the international airport, the Jade Empress and her entourage waiting for the aircraft to refuel before they boarded.

Sunyan Military Transports were loading the waiting lines of refugees into their holds.

The Prime, and other senior Imperial figures were boarding a Naashan Jet headed for Maraque.

Clandonia Prime had chosen a bad time to deploy their Harrier's bombs.

Projectiles thudded into the tarmac all over the airport, explosions sending chunks of tarmac and shrapnel flying through the air.

Civilian and soldier alike ran for their lives, or dived to the ground. Many were caught outside, and ripped to shreds by the shockwaves of the explosions.

The Empress and her entourage were seated inside a terminal building, which fortunately was not hit.

The Prime, and many other government figures, along with their families were caught in the open however, and some were killed outright by the Clandonian bombs.

In the confusion, it was not yet clear what had become of the Scandinavian and Sunyan pilots and personnel, but with the carnage currently reigning over the airport, it didn't appear to be good.

This airport is currently being used to transport Naashan refugees out of the country, mostly to Sunya by military transport aircraft. It has been confirmed that at least two Sunyan Aircraft were on the ground at the time of the attack, but the fate of their crews remains unknown.

Clandonia regrets all loss of life, but however we did not perpetrate this act it was infact Naashan forces themselves trying to kill refugees! Our bombs hit runway positions far way from the terminals, there is no way small level ordance could create the discriptions desbribed on the Naashan STATE run news channel. We also would like to remind the Naashans why a civil airport was being used for military A-10 and J-10 flights which have killed countless Clandonians.


We give the Naashans a choice of peace, release the prisoners and surrender or we will continue the campaign.

Clandonian Aircraft launched their weapons indiscriminately, several civilian aircraft were located on the tarmac at the time of the strike, including those loading Naashan refugees.

Currently evidence points to a fuel unit exploding, which caused severe loss of life.

The idea that Naasha would attempt to kill it's own people, and the foreign personnel who were evacuating them is ridiculous.

The airport in question is still in Naashan hands, and one isolated runway is still in operation.

Reading the newest statement from Roania, the state department worker spit out his coffee! They want peace, yet their sending troops? Man, that was the defintion of Ironic. Even so, he forward the message to High Command, as forces were now deployed there.

Sandya International's Tower cleared the Jet for departure from Runway Six, the only operational one left.

With the Empress’s order and the clearance the jet took off quickly with the four escort air craft joining it after it took off as they had already been in the air waiting for the jet to take off. Then as the ship approached a higher level it increased its maximum thrust and entered high speeds so as to get to safe Scandinvan space as soon as possible.

Naashan artillery did indeed open fire on Clandonian military forces with chemical weapons, in retaliation to Clandonia's use of them on our troops first. Naasha operates a strictly retalitation only policy when it comes to chemical and biological weaponry.

We feel it prudent to remind Clandonia that it's invasion of Naasha was to 'free the people from oppression'. All that Clandonian troops have done is attack civilian facilities, raid the homes of Naashan citizens with commandos and then bomb refugees attempting to escape them.

The bombing of the airport was harrowing, but fortunately, no aircraft were seriously damaged. A Sunyan Marine was killed in the action and several dozen personnel were injured. However, there were hundreds of casualities among the civilian population, all of whom were immediately evacuated to hospital ships. A broadcast was sent-out by Central Command, to all the combatants within Naasha.

The recent bombings are unnacceptable. There was loss of life among the civilian refugees. We lost three Sunyan Marines. However, to prevent more violence and greater loss of life, we will take no action in regards to this attack. But stand warned, further attacks will not be tolerated and will be met with violent repercussions.

We ask only that we be allowed to continue the evacuations and humanitarian aid, without fear of attack or reprisal. We propose that the International Airport at Sandya be recognized by all combatants as a Cease Fire Zone, only to be occupied by personnel on missions of mercy.

We have thus far evacuated 288,000 refugees to Sunya and will complete the evacuation of the remaining 222,000 within 24 hours. We wish to extend the offer to further evacuations, if necessary, to the Naashan people. If there are no other humanitarian requirements or Naashans still seeking refuge, all Sunyan military presences within Naasha will be recalled.

Finally, we wish to extend similar humanitarian to all combatants in this war. This war has taken its greatest toll on civilians. Any other evacuation needs for any other nation will be met with the same efficiency and focus.

Communique to the nations of Clandonia and Naasha


15,000 people die within our nation of violence every day. It is an unfortunate side effect of a society as large as our own. Even keeping it at such a low number requires great effort. Do not think we intend to invade or act with violence ourselves, however. The Holy Legions would be there strictly as peacekeeping operatives.

Clandonians, it is alarming to us that you are willing to put so much on the line, create so much death and suffering, over the life of a man who isn't even a citizen of your fine nation. I ask once more, politely, to withdraw while diplomatic measures are attempted. I give you my solemn word that His Divine Illuminated Imperial Majesty's government shall pressure the Naashans to release their prisoners once all steps have been taken to ensure the Empire of Naasha's safety.

Further attacks upon civilians, by either side, will not be accepted or tolerated. Further attacks upon civilians with chemical or biological weapons will be very harshly viewed.

Now that peace has been declared in Surdun, Ackistan is seeking nations willing to contribute money towards rebuilding the war ravaged nations of Surdun and Naasha. These nations desperately need your help as much of their vital infrastructure has been destroyed, and many of their citizens have been injured.

As part of our fundraising efforts to rebuild Surdun and Naasha, the nation of Imperial Isa has generously agreed to donate $80 billion in funds to provide for refugees of that conflict.

Nations, who have agreed to receive refugees from Surdun and Naasha, are encouraged to request a portion of this fund. To receive money, you need only agree that whatever funds you receive will be used provide food, clothing, shelter, education, and business loans to refugees. Other ideas you may have to help refugees in your nation to acclimate themselves are welcome.

After a few hours of flying the airplane flew over a range of mountains similar in height to the Himalayas. With that the pilot said,” We have now officially entered the northernmost lands of the Scandinvan Empire and shall land at a secure military air port in a hour and a half.”

A minute later three fights of Scandinvan F-18 fighter craft came to greet and escort the craft to the airport. As well, the cold icy northern lands of the Empire seemed to glisten with the light reflected from the sun and the few nomadic communities that could be send were little dots on the great northern lands.

Communique from the Central Council

The Autonomous Free States of Sunya wishes to officially delcare its withdraw from Naasha. Having evacuated over 500,000 refugees, and with no others accepting further offers of assistance, Sunyan military personnel in the region have been recalled. Volunteer specialists belonging to the Suyan Peace and Aid Corps have taken their place and established a basecamp at the Sandya International Airport. This camp will act as a distribution point for food aid and provide a line of communication between Naashans at home and within Sunya.

It is our sincere desire that there can be found solace and healing in peace.
