The Technocratic Republics – Allanea Friendship Pact

1. The Thanedom of Technocratic Republics and the United States of Allanea shall be committed to a mutual embassy exchange.

2. The Thanedom of Technocratic Republics and the United States of Allanea shall be committed to a free trade treaty.

3. The Thanedom of Technocratic Republics and the United States of Allanea shall be committed to a mutual defense agreement, and will aid each other if the other party is aggressed upon.

4. Both parties shall remain committed to the maintenance of the security and stability of Omeldor-1 Space Station.

5. This treaty will become valid when signed by leaders or other authorized officials of both signatory parties.

Videoconference Diplomatic Meeting:

The Chancellery of International Affairs is mostly pleased with the elements contained within the Allanean proposal. However, we do have a few reservations to add to the treaty:

Item 3, Reservation 1.- We would prefer to avoid committing ourselves to a Mutual Defense Agreement with parties which are not also members of the Sisgardian Fellowship of Nations, as this could lead to potential conflicts of interests. Therefore, we must put down this particular proposition.

Item 3, Reservation 1.2.- As Allanea currently shares interests within the Omeldor-1 Sisgardian World Station, it would be admissible for the Thanedom of Technocratic Republics to engage in a mutual-protection agreement with Allanea, specific to the event concerning directly the well-being and security of the aforementioned space station. This would have to be reviewed by the entire administration of the World Station, which currently lies in hands of the Omeldor-1 SFN Administration Authority, which in turn answers directly to the Supreme Assembly of the Sisgardian Fellowship of Nations. The participation of the Thanedom of Technocratic Republics in the protection of the Omeldor-1 is a highly important one, and we are bound by our previous agreement with the SFN itself, and therefore unable to unilaterally decide upon the priorities and attributions of our defense force there located.

Item 4, Reservation 1.- In knowledge of the previous reservations, it is our responsibility to first pass this particular point through the review of the Omeldor-1 SFN Administration Authority, as it regards directly to the handling of security within the World Station itself, task that is bound by treaties to the ruling of the Authority, and thus the SFN member nations.


Given the reservations we make, it would be necessary to first review the points of conflict before the treaty can be signed.
