Dephire
14-10-2006, 15:48
Stated Three Weeks Prior to Present:

"...and so I conclude this by stating that Dephire should become more civilized. No one should be oppressed by the former government's powers! This grand nation should be a Democracy! Not an empire! I, Lord Governor Jonathan Vega, hereby declare that Dephire shall be a democracy by force if necessary! Thank you, and good night!"

Two Weeks Before Present:

"Today is a day of great rememberance for those that have lost their lives and homes. As of now, the long civil war that had ramsacked our country is finally over. It has been twenty years since the start of the civil war that had three main installments. What good is to come of it? Well, now we don't have to be afraid of our neighbors anymore. The real question is, what bad has come from it? As you can see behind me, this neighborhood used to be an expansive suburban district. It now lays in complete ruins, for this was the battlesight of where Vega's military forces were crushed by Joint GASN-Loyalist forces. Nothing of the former Dephire we love has survived. We have been reduced to near-nothingness. The economy is beginning to fail. Our strong militaristic view is beginning to fade. Dephire could become a ghost town if nothing is done.

Earlier today, we caught footage of Vega partaking in a ceremonial celebration of the anniversary and end of the war. He even raised the Dephirian flag himself.

If anyone is out there, I ask that you kindly send aid to this ravaged country. Thank you. This is Lisa Poertner, signing off."

One Week Prior to Present:

A small paraforce had departed from San Salvadorea for the World Soviet Party, and it would be the last fully operational military strike from Dephire for awhile.

New Louisiana (North Chitzeland) had just been founded, and was being slowly populated by a thin stream of Dephirians trying to escape the homeland's turmoil.

The Dominator Class Rail Cannon run was finished, and at it's peak were nearly five thousand cannons produced. Most of which were sold to foreign nations. They were now considered too pricy to keep maintained. The rest were either being sold off, or disassembled and the parts used for other things.

Megalith, Dephire's massive missile silo complex, was still operational. This meant that the Megalith was the last remaining Superpower Structure from the 'Empire Era'. It's armaments did include Nuclear Missiles, but it had more anit-nuclear missiles and anti-air missiles than anything else.

Alexandria Districts II-V were in near-complete ruins with millions upon millions left homeless. Ghray was nearly devastated. Shetterdan had been left out of most of the war, but had recieved some damage following the Battle for the Megalith. Chitz was left untouched. Sarajevo had been damaged severely. Jakal was left nearly untouched. San Salvadorea was an utter loss, save for the military bases it protected. Corrardan's ports were destroyed by Vega's ships in the first installment of the Civil War. Ghray's II District was spared from the devastation witnessed in the Main District. The Hammerfest Military Instalation in the far north-eastern tip of the nation was destroyed by foreign invaders from the third installment of the civil war. And Siego was left untouched by anyone. There were many other small cities that hadn't been mentioned...but could probably be seen as either lost or unharmed..depending on the region they were located in.

The economy had kept itself on the rise by aid from Dephirian Territories, such as Los Mexico and the Outer Rim, but this was not enough to last them forever.

Even Dephire's military was beginning to diminish, especially after losing Hammerfest, and also because of the loss of many cities.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Present Day:

"A large force of nearly twenty-thousand imperial troops has just sacked the city of Alexandria! The stormed right up to the White Tower! We don't have visual, but many portions of the Tower are billowing smoke as I speak! This is unreasonable! Oh my god! They have the Lord Governor! Vega's been captured! Wait...Zoom in damn it!"

The camera began to pan, it then zoomed in onto Vega's face. Blood was streaming down from a cut on the forehead. His sword was nowhere to be seen.

"He's hurt! Oh my god!"

Something stirred from behind the newswoman and her camera man. A spray of bullets were fired from automatic weapons, and the camera went blank.

"You bloody idiot! You just destroyed the camera!"

Two voices were being heard. Even though the lense was destroyed, the audio was still being recieved. The voices were male, and none matched the newswoman or her camera man.

"I'm sorry. What did we need a camera for again?"

"We needed that camera to send a ransom message to anyone who bloody cares in this world. Then, after it had been paid, we would kill Vega."

"Oh, right!"

"Hey! There's another newsteam!"

More shots were fired.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A rather low-quality video had begun streaming across the world. Several armed men were in a theatre, and there was one man bent on his knees in the center of the group. He appeared unconscious, but he was still alive. Blood was still oozing from his wound. One man with a ski mask on walked forward up to a podium.

"Our demands are rather simplistic. Grant us five trillion United States Dollars, a ship, a large military force, and our own territory in any which area we choose. Not like any other demand eh? If these are not met, poor Jonathan Vega will be executed on International Television!"

The man laughed evily, and the television broadcast was cut.

Generally the Purifiers wore pure white armor. Today, however, they had exchanged it for camoflage armor. Specifically the Mark I Chameleon Armor, combining near unmatched body armor with the ability to change color on electrical impulses.

At the moment, a number of small submarines, barely larger than torpedoes, delivered them to the shores of Dephire, where they were to be met by whoever the hell was in charge of Dephire when they got there.

Two hundred Purifiers had been delivered in total. The leader, known only as Odinson, emerged from his delivery submarine, and strode up onto the beach, looking for the men who were to meet them.

Then I'd suggest the ruins of Hammerfest. Which, in that case, you will not be met by anyone. Guess you can marvel at the abandoned DCRCs, or the sheer size of the place. But you won't meet anyone until probably on the way to the metropolitan area. (Roughly 600-1300 miles..depending on the course).

Off the shore of Dephire, National Waters, Dead of Night
The sea was quiet, the soft lapping of the waves against the distant rocks could be heard through the nothingness. The moon peeked out between its cloud cover, refracting of the tips of waves and casting its light across the small bay. It was perfect, idyllic, serene...

The silence of the night was disturbed suddenly, there was a great whoosh and a cascade of water rolling off the small black rubber boat that shot through the waves, gained airborne qualities for a second, and then fell back to the ocean. In seconds it was followed by three further exactly identical craft.

Moments after rising, each boat’s occupants rose up, taking up sitting positions on the inflated edge of the craft, as the rearmost man tipped the engine into gear and the boats lurched forward. The rolled up and down, their motors humming quietly, as the platoon rushed toward shore.

In minutes the boats crawled up onto the beach, sticking themselves onto the sand, immobile. The twenty men leapt out of their respective boats onto the shore, swung their rifles around onto their backs, and grabbed up the boats and jogged the few hundred feet into the nearby woods. Here is where they would leave the boats, disguised beneath specifically designed camouflage nets retrieved from the boats themselves.

The commander of this strike team, a tall, bald man named Ostrata, motioned silently to a small glade a few yards ahead. Silently, the platoon made their way through the foreign wood and squatted on the small mound in the center of this formation, Ostrata spoke, "Alright men, you know what we're here to do, and you know how much time we have to do it."

Ostrata snapped a small twig off of a nearby evergreen tree and began to sketch a small map in the soft earth before him, "Time, you know, is of the essence. Vega is being held about seventeen miles south-west of here. Now, his captors expect a ransom, so we'll have to move. They'll take him out before we get there, otherwise. From here we're going to split off into four operational teams."

Ostrata turned to grab a small array of pinecones for his unfolding map, "Now, there are some rather large mountains running all along... here... and here... The city we want is... here. Team one, Chelik, Sosnin, Koroten, Boguslav, and myself, will move along this shore, directly to the shore of the target city. Team two, Ostog, Gorotchikov, Dirslav, Dvoina, and Iraklii, will move through these foothills here, you'll probably come down in this residential district. I want you to wait there for further orders, right?"

There was some universal nodding, and their Colonel continued, "Alright, the rest of you will move up through here," he said, gesturing at the pinecone-recreated mountain chain, "and cross through this pass. After that Dabish and Zvoiata will both take a team into this manufacturing district. It shouldn't be too hard, although it does look like there are a few more insurgents there... Well, you can figure it out. You are to move through the city, and take up positions in here," He pointed at a small pebble inside his city diagram, "This is a warehouse we've been observing from the command center, it looks abandoned, should be safe. Wait there."

There was another round of universal nodding, and as soon as he was satisfied, Ostrata waved to Iraklii to wipe off the map from the glen. Iraklii, an unusually large man, standing roughly six and a half feet tall, set down his KPV anti-aircraft machine gun to comply...

Vega was known to the Dominion, and even if his track record was not perfect, he was better than these new rebels. Jonathan Vega was not to be abandoned...

Castle Von Wolf, Romania, The Dominion

Lighting danced across the dark sky, it was a cold and wet night in northern-west Romania. A night that only fools go out in. A night that you need more then a coat to stay warm. Large spotlights, which rested on the castle large towers, scanned the sky as Demon Breaker anti-air missile launchers waited to be used. The land was a no-fly zone, so anything that enters it will be blow out of the sky unless an aircraft was ordered in the air space.

The Count, in his large dark office, looked at the scene in front of him. The man was wearing some Roman looking armor. “Bullshit.” he said with a little laugh. “If they got Vega, something is fucking strange. The Devil's guards were doing their jobs.”

His door opened and in walked a large paled skinned man with body of muscle. “His eight men are just getting there, Father.” said Jibade (http://www.freewebs.com/thetransylvania/Jibade.JPG). “Don’t ask me why.”

JWolf sat up and looked across at his son. “Well, order them to wait for some allies.” said he said. “I have a ship in international waters near Dephire.”

“Very well, Father. Have a good night.” said Jibade, who walked out of the room.

The Count picked up his phone and dialed a number….

International Waters near Dephire

A harmless cargo ship floated in the waters, a ship that had Timber Wolf Inc all over it. But it was not a company ships, it was a ghost ship. It was an attack transport in hiding. The only cargo it had was food for the Dominionite soldiers onboard.

The ship was a floating base near the Commonwealth state, ordered there by the Lord Marshall himself. If anybody looked, they would see the same type of ships near the other Commonwealth states.

Below the deck, the soldiers be prepared to move out. A large group of combat soldiers, those shadow ops boys, and the support soldiers was waiting for the orders to move out.

On the desk, two large shipping containers were pushed off the ship. The containers looked like they were the size of two normal containers together. But they did not sink, they were floating in the water. They were Mark V Special Operations Crafts in hiding.

At the flip of a button, the outer shells popped off and the crafts were seen. The two boats moved off towards land as fast as they could. They were moving without their running lights or any lights on. The drivers were using night vision goggles.

One boat had six man team of Shadow Foxes and two black M1038A1 HMMWVs. On the other boat was sixteen members of the Tiger Force, which is a group within the 1st Blood Wolves. These soldiers were be prepared for anything. They were heading for the ruins of Hammerfest.

14-10-2006, 21:48
Head Tribune Philip Godfrey was the first to hear of the news in Dephire. He sat around an oval-shaped table with the other members of the Governing Tribunal. The room was dimly lit by lights hidden in the ceiling. Charles Bowyar, the Foreign Tribune, had just finished briefing Godfrey on the recent developments overseas.

Godfrey stood from his elegant chair and began pacing behind it. "This is our first act of foreign involvement. We shall be judged by how we conduct ourselves from now until the conclusion of this conflict. I see this terrorist organization as a sovereign identity. Therefore, a declaration will have to be issued by the senate."

The senators of West Corinthia had gathered anxiously in the meeting hall for their first vote in office. This was the first occassion the Corinthian senate had any real power, so the vote would be a closely watched occurrence. The head of the senate, Piers Northwode, introduced the resolution:

"...due to their nefarious activities against our allies, and their multiple acts of terrorism, West Corinthia covenants and concludes to aid Dephire militarily and economically until these terrorists are eradicated from existence. For the glory of the Tribunal, and the Holy Deity."

"For the glory of the Tribunal, and the Holy Deity." repeated the senators.

The vote was decisive: 153-11-37

Word was sent to the 1st Templar Division, already mobilized, and the 32nd Hospitallers to prepare for battle.

The embassy marine guards were securing the perimiter, the embasador looked back on the burning city as gun fire was heard. He wish the government had done something, the priority was not there. As the VC-10 got going down the taxi way, heading for Clandonia many thought what the nation would do seeing its ally reduced to such a state.

IC: The two crafts were a mile from shore, from landing in the ruins of the city’s beach. The two crafts slowed themselves down as they got closer.

On the front of the craft on the right, a sniper in full set of brick red and black Transylvanian body armor rested with a Big Bull sniper rifle. The sniper flipped from night vision to infrared as he scanned the landing zone.

“Sir, got something.” he said on the radio. He picked up the heat of something that was not seen in night vision. Some type of soldiers, or that was what it looked like. “Maybe soldiers or some small animals. Don’t know, sir. Cleared?”

Another Blood Wolf, which was manning the God heavy machine gun on front, flipped to infrared to see what the sniper was talking about. “Watch, don’t fire.” came the order. The sniper and heavy machine gun waited as the both slowed down as they moved towards the shore. Slowed down to below three knots.

OOC: Ah. First two my bad. As for the third one, no, I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing, until which time they're just hanging out there. Shall we assume that my post occured once they got into visual range?

Edit: Oh, just for general information, although I won't make an issue out of it this time, my special forces are generally insulated, to the effect of not showing up as much more than a slight blip on thermal imgaging.
West Corinthia

OOC: I'm assuming this would work from what I know about your country. If not, just let me know. Also, what's the name of a city with a landing strip that would be near the shore?

A fighter recon of 12 WC-Corsair jets flew past the Dephire shore. It took them less than five minutes of searching to find a suitable drop zone, an open field half a mile from the shoreline. Radioing the coordinates of the drop zone back to the main squadron, they began a patrol of 10 sq. miles from the field.

Shortly afterward, the dull roar of cargo plane propellers followed the jets. A formation of heavy planes began dropping parachutes over the field. Black parachutes helped to conceal the paratroopers against the night sky.

As they landed and regrouped, the Templars and Hospitallers broke into squads. 500 Templars and 200 Hospitallers had been dropped into Dephire, with the sole objective of securing the nearest landing strip. To help preserve stealth, the support aircraft broke off and began returning home.

Stephen Dunham had been placed in command of this mission. Though a high-ranking officer of the Templars, this was his first foreign assignment. He removed a flashlight from his gear bag and lit it over a map of Dephire. "This town should have a landing strip. It might just be a dirt one, but anything can suit us. Let's move out."

The infantry spread out and began the march to the town indicated on their maps. The heavily-armored Hospitallers led the way, with the well-disciplined Templars following.

IC: The men remained motionless as the craft slowed, with the exception of the Odinson, who rose, his armor changing color to a gleaming white as he did so. He left his guns meaningfully by his side, making no further moves.

"Ha. What good will that do if she's already dead?"

The soldier looked at her, then back at Vega.

"How the...how did you know she was already dead?"

Vega chuckled to himself.

"She's blue. Usually that either indicates that she is lacking oxygen, or that she was strangled to death."

The soldier smacked Vega across the head with the blunt of his pistol, Vega was out cold.

"His intelligence is rather shocking. No matter, soon enough we will be out of here and living in Argentina.."

"Aye Sir!" Was the reply he recieved from his men.

Hammerfest Military Installation (Ten Hours After Takeover):

Shadows moved along the beach, or so it appeared from the eyes of Lieutenant Carlos Shepard. He was a Dephirian DeathKnight. His attire included the Vegan Black armour that resembled that of a mixture of NOD and Helghast. Shepard was looking through the scope of his sniper rifle. The scope was highly sophisticated. It could detect heartbeat, motion, heat, and a special sensor detected 'empty spots' in areas. This instance, there were quite a few 'empty spots' worth looking into.

His mission, along with fifty other men, was to come here to rendevous with soldiers from a foreign nation known as The Aeson...or so they were called amongst the ranks of the Dephirian Military.

An alarm in his mind went off, and he turned around just in time to fire his rifle at a rebel. The rebel collapsed ontop of himself. Carlos was furious at himself, now he had given away the position of the remaining members of his group.

In knowing this, he stood up respectedly, and yelled out at the shadows on the beach.

"I am Lieutenant Carlos Shepard. Am I to assume you are the group sent in by...err...what was that again?"

He gestured in the direction of the approaching landing craft."

Approximately 5 nautical miles from Dephire's south eastern coast, 20h after take over

The waters were calm, quiet, but then a single object poked out of them, a submarine's periscope.
Doing a slow 360°, it found nothing, proving what three sets of passive sonars had already implied.

-Bridge, CNS Deliverance
"Looks clear." the captain said, trying not to notice the fact that his exec was rolling his eyes at him, as his cohorts would have spotted any suspicios vessel on their sonars more easily than he would have with the periscope "Surface the ship." he added, in a clear voice.

"Surface the ship, aye aye, sir!" replied the diving officer, and soon the submarine did just that. She was the largest, and by a considerable margin, sub in the Carbandian navy, a converted Oscar2, but she had had her teeth removed, or so it seemed. In actuality she was still quite deadly, but in a very different way, for she was now serving as Jannisary delivery vehicle.

Soon figures appeared on her deck, preparing 10 man inflatable rafts, 5 of them in all, if anyone had been there to see this, it would have been apparent that the Carbandians were going to take a hand in the events.

This all took no more than 15 minutes, and was, entirely deliberately, done in darkness, and the boats were soon on their way to shore, the sub slipping silently below the waves again as soon as they were clear.

Smoke rising on the horizon alerted the Templars that they were nearing their destination, Siego. Muffled explosions rang out every few seconds in the distance, followed by occasional bursts of gunfire. Though the Templars were still over a mile from the town, they could hear every detail.

"Ready to go in, Captain?" a Major in the Hospitallers and addressed Captain Obelyn.

Captain Obelyn took out a pair of binoculars to view the nearby town. "We don't know if Siego is occupied by friendlies or hostiles. I'll have to radio back to headquarters."

The Major was not persuaded. "We can't break radio silence. We should go in and take the airfield now. The sooner we wait here, the stronger this rebellion may get, and we could be stranded in this Tribunal-forsaken country."

"Alright, alright. Have your snipers get eyes on. I'll get my Templars ready for insertion." Captain Obelyn turned and headed back to his squad.

A battle had commenced between two swordsmen. One had a long katana-like blade, the other had a long extravagant scimitar-like sword. The katana-bearing swordsmen was dressed in a light plate armour, which was red and had a red coat around it. His opponent was wearing bulky black full-plate armour.

The two were extremely well matched. No one was around to spectate the battle. The swordsman with the katana seemed more agile, but his opponent could block every strike.

"You were a fool to face me, Scythis! There is no chance in the world that you could defeat me! Give up while you still are alive! Maybe I will spare you."

The katana-bearing swordsman quickly dodge-rolled out of the path of a strike from his opponent.

"I'll never surrender, even if it is to my own brother!"

The heavily armoured man laughed as if the other had said a funny joke. He then began to mock his opponent.

"Then you are even more of a fool. Look around you, brother! Don't you see all of those that fell before the might of my sword? I am unbeatable! You can not, nor ever will, defeat me! Scythis, come to your senses! Do you honestly think that you possess the ability to kill your own brother?"

Scythis, the swordsman with the katana, sighed deeply.

"You are no brother of mine. If you were truly my brother, then you wouldn't have chosen to go down the path of which you took. You took the path that led you down to the darkness, towards...evil. Why did you do that? You betrayed our family! Baal, you betrayed your village!"

The man with the full-plate armour stomped his left foot, which shook the area. He was angered at what his brother had said.

"No! You betrayed me!"

Baal charged at Scythis, but Scythis parried then countered. His katana sliced through Baal's armour, and straight through to the flesh. Baal collapsed to his knees, and was breathing quite rapidly. Scythis cautiously walked around to see if his brother was still alive.

"No, I may not have the ability to kill you brother. That is why you live now. What I do have is the ability to stop you. Cease your hostilities, and end your journey down the path towards darkness. All it is doing is corrupting your senses. You have no true judgement! Turn away from this path, and you may be pardoned from all that you have done!"

Baal smiled, then stood up.

"I'm sorry, my brother. That is not an option for me. It is either you or I that dies here."

He rose his sword to his cheek, and charged once more. This time, he caught Scythis on the arm with the edge of his blade. Scythis scrambled for a wall to lean against as he recovered.

"All I wanted was to help, Baal. But I guess I can't help everyone."

Scythis jumped high into the air, and landed behind Baal. Baal turned around, but was too late to save himself. Scythis plunged his sword into his brother, and Baal fell once more.

"Sweet dreams, my brother. Live well in the Afterlife. May the Gods judge your soul as it wanders about."

Baal laughed one final time.

"Not if I see you there with me!"

He thrusted his sword into Scythis' chest, straight through the heart. The two swordsmen collapsed onto the ground in a pool of blood. Scythis the War-Hero of Dephire, and Baal the DeathKnight were no more.

The White Tower, Alexandria:

Vega was awakening from a dream. He looked around, and saw that he was in a prison cell. Further examination showed that the cell was extremely old, more of a dungeon. There was a small puddle of water in the middle of the room, and droplets were falling from an unseen ceiling. A rat scurried across the cell room, and found it's way through a small hole in the wall. There was a stench in the air of rotting flesh. A single beam of light was casted upon the room, only revealing the puddle of water previously mentioned. Vega attempted to stand, and his foot stepped in something. Alarmed, he quickly jumped away from where he was. He looked back, and saw what had created the rotting stench. There was now a puddle of vomit on the floor as Vega felt queesy.

A noise, somewhat far off, came into existence. It echoed loud and clear throughout the dungeon. Vega stood and ran towards it, making sure not to step on the rotting corpse again.

"H-Hello? Is anyone there?"

A beam of light blinded Vega temporarily. His eyes quickly adjusted, and he saw one of the officers that had subdued him.

"It's lunch time. What'll it be today? Soup or sandwich? Mind you, I'd rather have the soup."

Vega looked confused, but accepted the offer of food.

"Soup please."

The soldier chuckled.

"Thought as much. Here you go."

He slid a bowl of a mysterious soup towards Vega.

"W-What is this?"

Another officer, probably the cook, answered him.

"It's rat stew, but I added a few extra things for ya liking. Eat up, you won't serve us any good starved!"

Vega was handed a spoon, and found that he would soon regret having the soup. He bit down on a piece of meat, and came upon a 'crunch' sensation. This made him spit it up.

"A finger?! What the hell?"

A soldier banged on the bars.

"Yeah, got a problem?"

Vega looked down, and shook his head. He ate in silence, then gave the bowl back. After that, he tried to sleep again.

The Dominionite hummers began to follow the Warthogs again. Each vehicle matching the movements of the Warthogs. Each Dominionite ready for a fight.

On the ride, Ragnarok reached into his cloak and puts his Super Emperor revolver, which was cambered for .50 Action Express round, out. He checked it before returning it back to its holster. He carried the normal weapons that a Blood Wolf had; a DR-83 tactical rifle, an AMA7000 9mm sidearm and four grenades (Flash bang, smoke, two frags), but all Dominionite soldiers carried addition weapons, too. Ragnarok had the Super Emperor revolver and a Viking monster of a sword.

Other Blood Wolves had their own addition firearms and bladed weapons. All of them had a Wild Tiger Commando Knife but Ragnarok, who had his sword in engage in close combat. Out of the sixteen members of Tiger Forces under Ragnarok’s command there were a mix of types of soldiers. The list: One commander, two heavy support soldiers, one heavy sniper, two snipers, six assault soldiers, four support soldiers, one radio soldier and one medic. Each one carried a DR-83 tactical rifle, an AMA7000 9mm sidearm and four grenades.

The two heavy support soldiers were brothers in arms and for real. The older one, Ulysses, is two year older then the youngest one, Octavius, who is twenty-four. Both of them joined the Dominion Armed forces at the age of sixteen. They are know as the Castleberry boys. The Castleberry boys both carry a Master Guard general purpose machine gun with their other weapons. Ulysses carries a Sturmwolf rocket launcher, too.

The heavy sniper was the oldest members of this sixteen man unit. Ten years older then Ragnarok, his commander, but he did not want to be a leader. He was soldier, not a commander. He never thought of himself as a leader. He thought of himself as a God of War. And that is his codename is Ares. He is armed with a Big Bull sniper rifle and a Black Cobra Katana along with the normal stuff of a Blood Wolf. Ares is forty years old and good at his job.

The two normal snipers both carried Maxeighteen sniper rifles along with their normal weapons. This snipers were not the same, they both did things different. One was a hunter before he joined the Dominion Armed Forces, the other was a young boy that had no idea what he was going to be. The hunter was twenty-five year old man by the name of Peter Andreakos and the other was a twenty year old man by the name of Wesley Falkland.

The medic had a medic’s case, which had everything he would need for anything, that looked like a back pack. It was for bullet wounds, being sick, etc. He carried a Desert Sigma shotgun also because he was the shot gunner of the unit, too.

A Dephirian was arming the fifty calibur machine gun while the convoy was moving through the mountains. Others were doing the same in similar models of the warthog. Many men were keeping an eye out for possible rebels, but so far there were none.

"Where are they? I know they have to be out there some where! Oh, here is the tunnel. All right everyone, lights on! Stay alert though-"

Something caught Carlos' eye. He quickly turned the warthog while yelling through the communicator.

"RPG! RPG!"

A rocket propelled grenade slammed into one of the warthogs, it was up in flames in seconds. The Dephirians began slamming the area from which the rocket had come from with a wall of bullets. Some lobbed pre-cooked grenades, small explosions followed.

Carlos was still pushing for the tunnel enterance when something large appeared on radar.

"Damn. It's that AT. Everyone, PUNCH IT!"

Friendly Dephirians (Part III):

"That'll be I, ma'am. The name is Corporal Foxavious. I've been a member of the Dephirian Military for almost seventeen years. We are all loyalists to the idea of a 'True Dephire'."

A man had stood infront of the group, and told the woman his status. Afterwards, he stepped back.

“It fun.” was all Ragnarok. He did like to talk that much during a ride to a mission unless it was to issue orders to his men.

The gunners of the browning machine guns added to the attack on the rocket launcher fool. The Dominionite black hummers dodged around the burning Warthog. The drivers gunned to stay with Carlos’ Warthog, inches behind his Warthog was the lead hummer.

Into the tunnel!

The convoy made it into the tunnel, and Carlos' passenger inserted a code that closed a door. Carlos pulled the warthog to the side of the tunnel, and stopped it.

"Alright, allow me to set up some things really quick, then we can move out again."

The corporal sighed, sensing the amusement as to how he had not recieved a higher rank after being in the military for so long. He answered his questioner swiftly.

"Yes, Vega has been captured by a radical Military-bent extremist party known as 'The Brotherhood'. Their leader is unknown. None of our specs have indicated as to which nationality he is from. He shows up on none of our computers. Our guess is that he is wearing a disguise. Or he doesn't exist period."

The corporal casted his eyes downward.

"The military, having so many personel under it's belt, is hard to get high in the ranks. Even if you have a long outstanding career, there could always be that one other that is better than you. I should have been General of the Army, but Skragg took that from me in a duel."

He turned around and looked towards the White Tower. Even from such a far distance, it was still visible.

"Alexander had a keen eye on Skragg, and even pardoned him for cheating. Vega knew that Skragg had cheated in the duel...but his accusations were tossed aside."

The Odinson glanced at the doors. "And those will hold it?" He asked, "Or should I leave some of my Purifiers here to deal with it when it breaks through?"

As he spoke, one of the Purifiers in the back seat was assembling a weapon resembling a small cannon from pieces that had been carried by several Purifiers. As soon as he had finished speaking, he, along with every other Purifier within earshot raised their left fist and spoke in chorus "I volunteer!"

"That door is roughly ten feet thick, and there are actually five of them. They should hold...unless if something like a large cannon from Hell was used against it."

He flipped some switches, and several mini-gun turrents popped up through hidden compartments.

"There, that should kill any little buggars. Shall we rest here for the night, or get going?"

OOC: Roughly five hours has passed, and three hundred to five hundred miles of travel.

Carlos chuckled at the comment, but became scornful.

"The Dominators had their run, but the negatives outweighed the benefits in the long run. That's all old news anyways. Right before this shit started, Vega had ordered to dismantle any cannons that were considered unoperable and the rest were to be sold off in auction."

He looked around and took in the sights.

"This, my friends, is the Great Hall of Delthar. Delthar was the first ever king of Dephire when we were a monarchy several centuries ago. This, of course, contradicts with the knowledge of Scythis."

Carlos spoke as he messed with some more dials and switches. Loud 'clangs' echoed throughout the hall as he adjusted them.

"The hall was built in the mid thirteenth century, according to our A.S. years, or years after the death of Scythis. It was once of an ivory-like material that glowed white, but it's now long faded after civilization struck."

The man quickly ran back to the warthogs, and took out an assault rifle.

"We have to walk to the next corridor on foot. From there, we can take a train. It's either that, or we can keep driving. Either way is about the same distance. If we did take the train, it would cut our time in half...but at the cost of surprise. Your choice gentlemen."

--------------------------------------------------------------------

"Alright, ma'am. Try hiding the weapons a bit more...this place is neutral, yes, but that means there are rebels amongst these people as well. Also, many Dephirians dislike foreigners...so do you mind if everyone of you change into these?"

-----------------------------------------------------------

"Ho ho! You obviously haven't been introduced to Dephirian HellKnight Armour! This armour has everything you could possibly need in the battlefield. The helmet has a heartbeat sensor powerful enough to detect anything within one hundred meters, an infrared sensor also known as a heat sensor, a motion sensor, five thousand times zoom, satellite imagery, look-behind-you camera, and several other performance enhancing technical crap. The body armour itself is not only stylish, but is powerful enough to stop anything up to a fifty calibur bullet. Might bruise the hell outta yeah, but you will live to tell the tale. It also has reflex enhancers amongst other things. Your stamina is also drastically increased. It's well insulated, otherwise the black would have you cooked more quickly than a turkey when in the desert. During this break, the others would see the faces of the Tiger Force members. Ragnarok took of his black cloak, on the upper right arm of his armor was the symbol of the 1st Blood Wolves (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/CountJWolf/1st.jpg) and right under it was a tiger paw with the words force under it. His Super Emperor revolver in a holster on his right leg and the AMA7000 9mm sidearm on the left leg holster. The four grenades were on his belt and the large Viking sword on his back.

He placed his DR-83 tactical rifle in his seat in the lead hummer then walked over to Carlos and Odinson. He undid his helmet and took it off. His long blonde hair fell to his shoulders as his light blue eyes looked at the two men. Ragnarok had a full beard, too.

He looked at the gun that Odinson had. “A Kraven design?,” he said, “A damn fine weapon. I fired one once.”

At the same time, the other members were taking of their cloak and all had the same markings as Ragnarok did on his right arm. Most of their DR-83 tactical rifles were over their shoulders or in the hummers. Anybody could see that each one had different weapons. Anybody can see who was what and what job they had. They could tell who the snipers were and the who the medic was, etc.
But they did not take off their helmets.

Chelik, the team's scout, was laying flat on his stomach, his cheek lying across the stock of his Dragunov SVD sniper rife, peering through a low-laying scope at the city below. Creeping up the hill behind him were his squad-mates, Sosnin, Koroten, Boguslav, and Ostrata.

In seconds the group had made it up the heavily forested fifty-odd foot ridge, all without making even the slightest disturbance of the world they passed over.

Falling quietly and gently beside him, Colonel Ostrata pulled his AK-107 should-strap, bringing the weapon down to his shoulder and began to load the weapon, he spoke as he did. "Chelik, what's out there?".

Chelik pulled his head back from the scope, "Sir, this appears to be a small suburb outside the city itself. We're about a dozen or so miles from the Tower."

Ostrata looked back down the hill at the small white houses, seemingly planted in rows along the grid-line roads. "What about those patrols we passed back there, how many more of those should we see?"

Chelik looked back down through the magnifiers, re-zeroing the weapon as he responded, "Well, I've seen a few of their trucks go by, nothing but technicals though. I haven't seen anything like that tank back there yet, but this is just a residential area..."

Ostrata grunted, re-adjusting himself to flick the top bullet out of the magazine and slam the twenty-nine rounds into the bottom of his gun, "Well, what do you think about the natives? Could anyone be of any use down there?"

Chelik twisted another knob on the side of the scope, "I'm not sure, there's been no response yet to the patrols, although some of the houses are boarded up, and I did hear gunfire a few hours ago..."

Ostrata leaned up, as if to look further into the crowded morass of white and grey buildings, "Hmm, should we try to make contact?"

Chelik spoke again, "Well, couldn't hurt... We'd have to cut the communications to the house though..."

The Colonel replied quickly, "Why just the telephone, cut all their power. Here," He pointed, "Take out that transformer there and the whole block 'll go dark."

Chelik brought his crosshairs up to the transformer...

Twenty seconds later; Sosnin stood over a man foreign man on the second floor of a seemingly mass-produced home. The man's mouth was duct-taped, as were his hands. Above the stairway Boguslav laid flat, his RPK scanning the lower levels for movement in the early morning darkness...

Koroten and Chelik stood at the windows, Chelik busy removing his scope, explaining, "The sun's coming up soon, can't risk a glare..."

Ostrata was pacing behind Sosnin as the barrel of a Saiga-12 prodded their captive's chest... "Koroten, get the tape off his mouth... No, find out what language he speaks..."

Koroten started to walk over to the captive, but then stopped, "How do I do that, sir?"

The Colonel looked back up at his soldier from the floor, "I dunno, look at what he reads, dial an operator... Wait. Try the first one..."

Koroten smiled, stepping across the carpeted room and grabbing the first book he found. Tearing it open, he scanned a few pages... "Sir, it looks kinda German script, I think..."

Ostrata swore. "Well... Let's try and talk to him anyway. Take the tape off, if he screams, shoot 'im."

Koroten dropped the book and drew his knife, cutting the tape off the man. The captive sat up, rubbing his wrists, he was met with a shotgun butt to his face.

Ostrata touched Sosnin out of the way, and stepped forward. Standing over the bleeding man, who was now clutching his face and nearly rolling over on the now stained carpet... In a harsh voice the experienced commander demanded, "You, what is your name?" Ostrata repeated himself in English and then again in Russian. He waited.

Ostrata looked satisfied with the answer, and indeed he turned and walked out of the room, silently descending the stairs, seemingly without even trying...

However, Koroten remained behind, helping the foreigner to his feet and giving him a cloth with which to remove the blood from his face and hands, "You may want to clean that up..." Koroten gestured at the stain on the floor as he passed the man on his way out. Although, he did not make his way all the way out. He stopped at the top of the stairs, peered down, and turned again, looking at the foreigner, who was now busily wiping the blood and sweat from his face.

"The Red Empire orders your execution..." Koroten chuckled to himself as he drew his PM Marakov sidearm... Red Empire...

As the rest of the team left the house, they heard the muffled sound of a gunshot, then the dull thud of what they knew to be a falling body. Ostrata spoke, "Well, no more loose ends..."

The team moved on, scuttling back up the ridge into the forest from whence the emerged only minutes before...

"This is WatchDog Nine. We have detected a slight disturbance, possibly muffled gunfire in a nearby residential house. Do we have clearance to investigate?"

Static, then a response.

"Clearance granted. Advisement: Use Stealth."

Carlos yelled.

"I did say that the walls will hold, this is something else!"

The column of vehicles drove for several minutes, keeping a sharp eye out for anything moving. Seeing nothing, they pushed on. Something showed up in the distance, a deep dark blackness.

"Holy shit! It's...it's a chasm! Where the hell did that come from?!"

One of the Dephirians hopped out of a vehicle.

"Carlos, are you sure we went the right way?"

Carlos hopped out himself and examined the abyss.

"I know we went this way when we headed for Hammerfest, I'm sure of it! Even the map says so!"

Several Dephirians looked through the abyss.

"What could have caused it? There is no weapon on Earth that can blow a hole that big!"

Carlos pointed to a very thin red line.

"Except for Mother Nature. Damn. Looks like we either can try to jump this, or go and see if the train will work...."

“Back to the train then because I don‘t think about anybody can jump this chasm.” said Ragnarok as he over looked the massive gap in the ground. “Or we can use the zip lines that we carried along.”

Vega sat in the far back corner of the dungeon cell. Next to him was a make-shift burial site for the corpse which had occupied the cell before him. It had only been fifteen hours since the takeover had finalised, but it seemed like days had gone by. Light flooded into the cell, and Vega stood up. Voices were heard, and now the sounds of footsteps echoed. A booming sound shattered the silence as a door opened. The footsteps grew louder. Moments later, fifteen men were infront of Vega's cell. One of them, their apparent leader, was smiling.

"Hello Vega. It's nice to see an old friend. How has it been?"

The voice was too familiar to Vega. It was the same cold tone of someone he killed not too long ago. Vega slammed himself against the wall, shocked and in awe.

"W-Who are you?! Reveal yourself!"

The man laughed.

"I guess it is time that I show you who I am, Jonathan Vega!"

He tore off his mask, and an earie silence followed. Vega was in complete shock. The man that stood before him was dead! He had to be! For Vega had shot him in the head! How could he still be alive?

"Y-you were dead! I made sure of it! How the hell did you survive a shot wound to the head, Alexander?"

Thirty men stormed the house, but only found a dead man.

"Domestic Violence. Homicide. Clean this place up, no need for us to be here."

"Alright. Seafood it is!"

The Corporal showed the soldiers to a fine dining place. Everything was white, except for the armour in which the soldiers wore. They stuck out, but it was alright for every citizen wouldn't dare criticise them.

Chelik laid again at the height of the ridge, this one roughly a mile and a half from his previous location. It overlooking a backyard, a small wooden patio, a single chain link fence, and, furthest away, a road. Their road. He waited, silently, scanning the hundred feet of road he could see. The house itself had already been cleared, all tied up silently and safely under an upstairs bed. Again, the telephone lines had been cut and all cellular devices located were destroyed. Koroten was good at his work

Down in the backyard squatted Boguslav, resting his RPK's barrel on the patio railing, looking down one end of the street. His body was concealed behind a small charcoal grill.

Laying flat in a patch of pine trees at the end of the chain-link fence, which ran perpendicular to the road, was Sosnin, his Sagia-12 automatic shotgun lying concealed beneath some dry pine needles.

The final pair of members of the team, Koroten and Colonel Ostrata, both with AK-107 assault rifles, were crouched behind Chelik on the ridge.

Finally, he heard it, they all heard it. Crunching the tiny stones on the road, probably about three-quarters of a mile away. The low hum of an engine, getting louder and louder. The vehicle was nearing. Half a mile, quarter of a mile, three-hundred feet, two-hundred feet... There it was!

Turning the corner onto the readied area of road was a large black pickup truck, a fifty-caliber machine gun mounted on a turntable in the bed, protected by a few layers of steel fifty-gallon drums. Riding also in the back was a pair of riflemen, although the passenger seat was unoccupied.

Chelik caught their movement immediately, his barrel leaping into motion, following the vehicle down the road. Forty-feet later a single shot rang out, a great cracking noise, followed by a booming resonance characteristic of the SVD rifle.

In the exact same instant the pair behind the sniper leapt into motion, each pilling three few-round busts into the bed of the pickup truck before falling back onto their bellies on the far side of the hill. At this point Ostrata would remain flat for exactly nine seconds before climbing the hill to launch another few bursts, and then disappear a second time. This respite would give Koroten the time he needed to sprint the one-hundred meters required to reach his next firing position, where he would immediately launch another attack on the truck.

Also immediately did Sergeant Boguslav open fire with his machine-gun, the truck having stopped just within his strike range, leaving the trio in the bed open for fire, now from two angles.

And, predictably uniformly did Sosnin act, although he did not fire his weapon. This would have given away his position. Instead, with well-built practiced arms he rolled and lobbed a grenade, which would land roughly two meters behind the enemy technical, disabling the inhabitants without destroying the transport or mutilating their bodies to terribly. Halfway through the throw his muscle memory took over, him having spent the last twenty-one years as a grenadier for this very squad, he knew his throw would land where he needed it.

The greatest aspect of this attack was that the enemy could only pin down with certainty the location of a single attacker, and could not even be certain how many others there may be...

Alright. Here is the basic rundown of what has happened in the past.

Alexander Ra'Baal is the reincarnation of Baal, the Dark Lord of Dephire. Jonathan Vega is the reincarnation of Scythis, the Hero of Dephire. It's rather strange how these two met, but I'll try to bring up some history.

Alexander Ra'Baal came to power when he was fifteen. His father had become unable to uphold the crown, and thus gave it to his son. This starts something that makes Dephire even more militaristic in itself.

Jonathan Vega was born in San Salvadorea. When he was eight, he was conscripted into the military. He adapted quickly amongst the ranks, but found his true calling commanding the Dephirian Naval Fleet (now an Armada).

Overtime, Alexander recognised Vega's potential. Soon enough, Vega had become the Supreme Admiral of the Dephirian Navy. This gave him enough power to eventually control his own faction.

The thing is, Vega was not impressed by Alexander's actions. When he was introduced to the Danteri conflict, he thought he might do something that would change his status amongst the Dephirians. So, Vega began a conquest of Danteri. Only one thing, this conquest was to benefit the people of Danteri. He made one error though, and that was the accidental attack on a village by some of his men that had gone rogue. This was the spark of the second installment of civil war.

Vega's influence had come to a massive peak amongst the Dephirians. Naturally, Alexander pushed to cease this. He left Dephire for Danteri in a way to call peace amongst all of the factions.

On the side, Alexander had himself cloned. This was to ensure that he could continue his reign as Emperor even if he was killed in Danteri.

Jonathan had secretly left Danteri, but his men remained. He returned to Dephire to continue his militaristic campaign against the so called 'False Emperor'. Thus the Third Installment of the Civil War.

Alexander was still in Danteri when Vega was defeated outside of Alexandria's First District.

Three months had passed, and many events had occured.

For one, the campaign in Danteri never ended. Several of the factors had left, but Vega's had remained. With Vega's loss, they swore allegiance to 'Alexander'. Only thing is that Alexander was in Danteri, not in Dephire. He is not able to run his Empire in foreign land. So who was taking his place?

It was his clone that pushed the campaign that had ended in near-conquest of Danteri in it's entirety. This was when Vega resurfaced, and siezed the Emperorship for himself. Of course, the Gholgoths had crushed many of Alexander's Loyalists.

Any remaining Dephirians were exiled to the territory north of Danteri. So now twelve million soldiers await the arrival of the Armada that will never be able to come until this whole thread is settled.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, on another note, Alexander had returned and stormed the White Tower with twenty thousand of his own Loyalist Army. This is why many of the defenses failed, and why Vega's guardsmen did not assist Vega. If I remember correctly, they serve the leader of Dephire.

Now then, Alexander (the original) is against violence himself. Which is why Vega was not killed on the spot. What shall happen is that Alexander will accept Vega as the true ruler of Dephire, for that was what had happened in History.

Alexander will even tell Vega of their history as descendants of brothers. So all-in-all, they are brothers.

Make any sense?

The Warthogs and Dominionite hummers drove back through the Hall of Delthar, passing by things that they already saw. A weird mission these men were on, the attack on the White Tower was a strange one. A force of over twenty thousand men attacking the White Tower out of the blue. The Dominionite commander would find out why many of the defenses failed in the attack and what was going on in this country.

He would find it all out…something was going on here. Something unknown to the public and to the world.

OCC: This was originally posted in the Still No Peace thread, but I left that thread because I’m not a peacekeeper. I’m a fighter!

The last few days, reports came in on the situations in Naasha as the Dominionite peacekeepers were preparing their vehicles to be loaded in the cargo planes. The Dominion, having never been a peacekeeper force before, was going to use only a thousand soldiers. The numbers would be 25% from the 7th Dragon Slayers and the rest from the 14th Mason's Wolves.

The peacekeepers would be armed with two magazines of rubber rounds, which have yellow tape on the bottom, and two magazines of lethal rounds, which have blue tape on the bottom. They would each carry chemical mace, a taser, and tear gas grenades. Three things that were strange for a Dominionite soldier, to act as a police and not a fighter.

The peacekeepers would be using these vehicles: M1026A1 HMMWVs with a tear gas launcher mounted on them, M1038A1 HMMWVs, M997A1 HMMWVs, M1035A1 HMMWVs and BMW R65GS motorcycles. All vehicles painted black with the Dominion flag on it, but each would carry a blue flag with the letters ‘P’ and ‘K’ on it. And the helicopters were being load onto Dominion Navy carriers to be transport into the area. The helicopters were AH-6J Little Bird attack helicopters, OH-58D Kiowa Warrior scout helicopters, UH-60 Black Hawk transport helicopters, and Mi-35 Hind E assault transport helicopters. The carriers had the army pilots of the 14th Mason's Wolves, too.

Major Marina Fox would be in command of these Dominionite peace keepers, she was a young twenty-five year old red-head that is a member of the 7th Dragon Slayers. She is the woman for the job, the men will follow her orders without thinking twice. And she was a image of a goddess, too. A pro for a lonely soldier to picture her naked.

The young Major looked over her soldiers and the loading crews as they move vehicles into cargo planes, which are waiting on an airbase in Germany. Soon, the C-13 JackRabbit supersonic cargo aircrafts would be entering the air with the peacekeepers and their vehicles. And the carriers would be done an hour later.

Major Fox was about to get the happiest news in her whole life, her and her men were not going to be peacekeepers. They were going to be rebel hunters near Hammerfest, Dephire. This made her day and before one of her officers ordered it, she picked up the nearest radio.

“All forces, we have new orders. We are going to not be peacekeepers,” she said, “We are going to Dephire, to fight rebels in the mountains. That is all.”

She sat the radio down and started to two replaced the two magazines of rubber rounds with two magazines of lethal rounds. Then took off all of the non-lethal weapons. Her men were doing the same thing.

The M1026A1 HMMWVs with a tear gas launcher mounted on them, were now going to be used to launch lethal grenades.

The Dominion Naval fleet was growing as the hours went by, soon it would leave the waters of the Dominion. Heading to kick some rebel ass in a Commonwealth State.

Hall of Delthar

“Odinson, Carlos,” said Ragnarok in the radio. “We are at the train. Carlos, do what ever you need to do.” The Warthogs and Dominionite hummers had arrived at the train, stopping and waiting before they could get unto the tracks. For the fact, the train blocked the entrance to the trains.

As the trio of massive Dephirian tanks rolled around the corner of the road, crushing pavement beneath their gargantuan treads and crawling into view of the battle-strewn backyard...

They were gone...

These tanks were so big, so heavy and loud, crunching the road beneath them and shifting the earth of their weight. The team had sensed it... and vanished. Ostrata, Koroten and Chelik fell backwards into the forest, disappearing into the underbrush before they even crossed the ridge. Sosnin melted into the pines, flowing backwards through the densely packed pines back up the hill and into the wood. Boguslav fell behind the house wall, leaping and rolling off the porch and sprinting into the rough field. This was where he was safe...

All of this happened only seconds after the grenade, the two bursts of rifle fire, the string of machine gun bullets... The tanks were still at least a mile away, and very soon, the squad would be equally as far departed...

Carlos walked briskly over to a console located on a wall.

"Alright precious. How do I make you tick?"

He quickly skimmed over the instructions. Then he looked at the knobs, levers, and switches.

"Where is it? Where is it?" he whispered to himself.

"HA! There is the little buggah!"

Carlos pulled a rather rusty lever, and the whole area came to life. Gears whirred, electronic motors began to work. Lights became brighter.

"Now then...how do I get that bastard off the tracks?"

The HellKnight read the small manual that was attatched to the console. He looked across the tracks over towards the wall opposite of where he was standing. There, he could see another console.

"Righto. Jeoff, go and check out that console. Tell me if it is labled as if something to do with this bloody train."

The one Carlos referred to as 'Jeoff' quickly darted across the tracks towards the other console. He skimmed over the labels.

"Uh. Carlos, you'd better get over here and check this out!"

Jeoff looked rather worried, and it even showed in his tone. Carlos knew something was wrong, and ran towards him.

"What is it?"

Jeoff pointed at the console. Upon it was an inscription that stated, "Console not working. Please call maintenance".

"So we won't be able to move the train, but why the worried expression?"

Jeoff sighed deeply, and explained to his superior.

"There is a disturbance in the dust. This notice was freshly put. In my understanding, we were the only ones supposed to be in this great hall. So either someone was using the train system, or we have company."

Carlos nodded in understanding.

"Is there a way we can confirm this? Hell, are we even able to get our vehicles past the train so that we can move on?"

Jeoff looked at the console once more. He then stepped to one side so that he can examine it more closely. What he found was aggrivating enough.

"Sir, look at this!"

Carlos turned and looked at the side of the console. The lever was torn clear off. The frustration got ahold of him, and he kicked the console. Due to his strength, he accidentally sent it flying across the room.

"Damn! Alright. Plan B. We take the fucking train. From the looks of it, we are lucky. This train is a vehicle transport. So then, are we ready to move on?"

Carlos' men saluted him, and began to prepare the train for departure.

---------------------------------------------

Vega had been relocated to a rather nice room. His capturors (sp?) had been treating him quite well. In fact, he was being fed seven course meals, and was given permission to walk in the gardens whenever he so chose. Alexander was supposed to visit him as a means to talk. Negotiate is the term that was used. Vega accepted. It was eight fourty eight one his clock, two days after the initial takeover. Alexander had roughly twenty minutes left. Vega strolled back and forth. His mind was running with a great many thoughts. A knock on the door. Vega looked at his clock.

"Hmm. Twenty minutes did fly by quite quickly." he thought to himself.

The door opened, and a single man walked in. He was dressed in the most..reassuring apparel. Wearing the black and red uniform of Vega's Faction.

"We meet again, brother. As it appears, we have something in common. Dephire is indeen in a wreck after the long years of Civil War. Why is that though? Why did we even start those wars so long ago? I know why. It's because of our ancestorial blood that pulses in our bodies. You may think that I am crazy, dear Vega, but I assure that I am not. See, I've been doing some rather disturbing research. Care to see? I'm sure of it that it will intrigue you."

Vega looked Alexander in the eye, then spoke with a calm voice.

"Alright, give me your best."

Alexander took out several files and several more folders. He opened one of them up and showed it to Vega. Upon the first page in bold print stated, "Project Jonathan Vega: A.K.A. Scythis".

"You see. Something is completely wrong with this. I have a similar folder myself."

Vega was baffled, and asked for further explanation.

"Alexander, what are you trying to tell me?"

The former emperor took out another folder. This one was labled, "Genesis".

"I guess I have to go back to the beginning. When Baal and Scythis fell, there was a lone man..a witch-doctor that had the brilliant idea of taking our blood and putting it into vials. These vials he put into a cryogenic state by placing them in the frozen caverns near Shetterdan. Overtime, these two vials were kept perfectly preserved, same as the contents inside."

Vega looked over the files. It was all making sense, but he was still unsure of what Alexander was talking about. Seeing the expression on Vega's face told Alexander to continue.

"Our cloning research was perfected nearly sixty years ago, correct?"

Now it was all clear to Vega. His eyes widened, but he still spoke calmly as ever.

"So..we were never 'Reincarnates' afterall. What we were...are...some madman's project?"

Alexander looked at one of the folders that he had shown Vega.

"In a sense, yes. The man portraying as my father was the man who conducted these experiments. He was the head researcher of Dephire's Cloning Sector. Luckily, one of your snipers had killed him long ago."

Vega looked out of the window at the courtyard.

"So the blood pulsating through my veins truly is Scythis' blood. How...how is this even remotely possible?"

Alexander looked at the folders displayed on the table.

"I have no idea. Hell, I have no prior knowledge of what Dephire was like before I nor you were born. It's as if all the records were destroyed. Maybe the propaganda methods were in place way back then. Who knows?"

Vega then looked at Alexander's attire.

"Why are you wearing the uniform of those that had once followed me?"

Alexander smiled.

"For if you are truly Scythis, and I am truly Baal. Then my last words to you were that you are to reign over Dephire."

Vega turned and looked out the window once more.

"Then answer these. Why did you march into the Tower with twenty thousand soldiers? Why are you telling me these things? Why do you wish me to reign?"

"That is correct. We are in the town of Siem, which is directly south of Alexandria. We still have the Sea of Dephire to cross though, which is roughly four hundred miles across...if I last remember correctly. The sea wall we built has allowed us to drain some of it for dredging..."

Three months after the initial 'take-over' of the White Tower, many of the different factions' members had stayed behind to see through to the reconstruction of the numerous Dephirian cities. Jonathan Vega had taken to the throne, and returned Dephire to a Imperialistic nation with him as the Emperor of Dephire. Alexander Ra'Baal, his blood-brother, stood by his side during the crowning ceremony was held. The entire hall was filled with a thunderous roar of cheering and applause. "Long live Emperor Scythis-Vega!" rang throughout the nation. Many of the rebels had begun to surrender to the new regime, but there were still some out there for anyone to hunt freely. Before any of this had fully commenced, Vega had spoken to the world in a single televised event. Here is that event.

Smoke bellowed in the distant horizon. Hammerfest was engulfed in flames. This, however, meant nothing to the extremely large crowd that had gathered infront of a tall white structure. This structure was several hundred years old, but had remained pure white. It was known to the Dephirians as 'The White Tower', but to the world...it was the capital. The White Tower was built in Alexandria's First District, population of roughly thirty or so million people. It's the largest city in all of Dephire.

Roughly one hundred feet above the ground was a balcony upon which two men wearing similar uniforms were standing. They each had two soldiers guarding them. Behind the two soldiers were a few people of no importance. One of the men, dressed in a dark red uniform, was standing in front of a podium upon which a microphone was mounted. The other man, dressed in a dark black uniform, was standing behind the previously mentioned man and to right.

Five soldiers, HellKnights, were guarding the enterance into the Tower for security reasons. Ten HellKnights were infront of the steps that led up to the door of which served as the enterance into the Tower. One hundred DeathKnights were situated along the outer walls that surrounded the Tower four hundred feet outward. There were no Godsends in command of the defenses, for there are only five in service. These Godsends included Jonathan Vega (Scythis), Alexander Ra'Baal (Baal), Admrial Coronado, General Skragg, and Admiral Jane Romanov. They are the highest and most elite of all soldiers amongst the Dephirian ranks, both civilian and military. Only the highest of these Godsend are allowed to carry the Sword of the Emperor. This sword was fastened to Vega's side, to the side of it's true master.

It's no walk in the park to even achieve the rank of 'Godsend'. Out of several hundred contendants, only one will ever reach it. How? Battle to the death in the 'Gladiator Ring'. This, however, is a different story that will be mentioned later.

Upon the balcony stood Vega behind the podium. The large crowd below him cheered wildly for they were excited to see their president alive. Alexander leaned in close to Vega, and whispered in his ear.

"It's time for you to address the nation, Scythis. Do so."

Vega chuckled and nodded. He then turned back to the crowd which spread outward for miles. Vega rose his hand for silence. Every single man, woman, and child became silent. This was que for Vega to begin.

"My brothers and sisters. For almost a decade, Dephire has been involved in a Civil War that had ravished our proud homeland. It had began to destroy all that we had held dear. Our economy fluctuated, and our military began to decrease in power. Foreign rulers began to take this advantage and tried to push their way of thinking upon our lives. Many of us even gave into this foreign influence."

Vega was speaking in formal Dephirian, a rough Russian and Latin accented language. The global broadcast, however, had a translated version for everyone to understand.

"Admist these Civil Wars, Dephire had also gotten involved in foreign wars that led to an even more accelerated decline. Though mostly successful, Dephire had suffered a near-fatal loss in the foreign nation of Danteri. We still have several million soldiers there that can not come home until fighting has stopped. Our navy is drifting about all over the world, and can not come home because Dephire has been too caught up in the power struggle for the Throne. Here is what I say. Stop the fighting, and help our forces be able to come home. All of my Loyalists, cease hostilities towards the Alexander Loyalist Forces. Watch as I, Jonathan Vega, shake hands with my brother. May this be a sign that peace shall ring within the borders of Dephire!"

A roar of applause soon erupted, but quieted down when Alexander stood up behind the podium.

"I, Alexander Ra'Baal, hereby order any and all Loyalist Forces to cease hostile actions towards my brother's forces. Watch as I shake hands with my brother, and may this be the start of a long and glorious new reign as he takes the Throne!"

Again, a roar of applause and cheering erupted from the crowd. Cameras from afar zoomed in so that all could see the two brothers shaking hands. Vega walked up to the podium, and all was silent once more.

"Dephire has recieved a substantial amount of help from foreign nations, some of which used to be enemies. They wish to see our nation returned to it's true former glory. Reconstruction has already commenced, but I need your help to finish what had been started. My brothers and sisters, will you grant me the sight of a new era? Will you grant me the ability to overcome the odds? What say you, People of Dephire?!"

This time, the roar nearly shook the Tower. Vega smiled, satisfied by the result.

"Then I say that we shall begin this new era known as 'Dephire's Golden Age'! I say that we shall start anew, and never cease!"

Vega grasped the handle of his sword, and swung it out over the crowd. The blade glistened in the sunlight. Vega held it firmly, showing his power.

"Dephire will once more be an Empire. An Empire of Choice and of Conscience! All will envy that of which we shall become. Any of those that dare to oppose us will be smote. None shall dim our glorious uprise!"

Vega sheathed the sword, then saluted. (Reich salute.)

"We are the Death of Freedom, Liberators of the Soul! We are Dephire! I am Dephire! Now go and go through with my request, my people. Go, and bring glory to kingdom come!"

With that, Vega turned and walked through the balcony door. He was now in a wide, open room. A large table was in the center. It was made of a very dark brown mahogany. Several chairs surround the table. Vega took a seat at the head. More people entered the room from the balcony, and took their respected places. Vega spoke first.

"Give those citizens something fun and exciting. Launch some fireworks into the air. I want them entertained."

"Yes sir."

Vega's secretary left the room. In a matter of moments, fireworks were launched into the sky. Eventually, the chairs at the table were filled. Now the meeting could begin.

"Please send up the Carbandia, Transylvania, Aeson, Pudite, and any other leaders of rogue forces within Dephire so that I can speak with them."

Lieutenant Colonel Ragnarok Eriksson, coming from Hammerfest, looked like hell as he hopped black hummer that was parked inside Base Death Tiger on the outskirts of Hammerfest. His face covered in ash from city that is burning fifty miles from him. He spat on the ground, knowing this fucking rebels were on his last nerve. Some how they survive attack after attack by the Dominionites, forcing some over the mountains and the others into the ruins of Hammerfest. The latter had caused the city to be lit on fire.

As he sat his helmet down in his private room, there was a knock on his door.

“Yes?” he asked.

“A message for you, Lieutenant Colonel,” started the Dominionite soldier on the other side of the door. “A message from Lord Governor Vega.”

“Come in.” said Ragnarok as wash the ash from his face. The ash got on his face as he was leaving the area in the hummer.

A young brown haired man walked into his room in forest camo BBUs. He walked over to his commanding officers and hands him the printed message.

Ragnarok’s eyes moved over the paper. “Looks like I have to go.” he said out loud. He looked back at the young soldier. “You may go back to whatever you were doing.”

The soldier saluted and exited the room, heading back to his post. As the door shut, Ragnarok took his armor off and weapons then hopped into the shower. If he was going to meet with Lord Governor Vega, he can’t look like a bum.

A few hours later, Ragnarok was on his way to the White Tower in a Mi-35 Hind E assault transport helicopters with two Ka-50 Black Shark attack helicopters as escorts. He was in full Transylvanian body armor in brick red and black with a dark maroon cloak over it. His helmet resting beside him. His Viking monster of a sword on his back on top of his dark maroon cloak. He carried his Super Emperor revolver on its holster on his right leg.

He looked across at the gray haired man in front of him, the man had a Black Cobra Katana resting on his lap. He was Ares, the God of War of the Tiger Force. The heavy sniper and assassin of Ragnarok

At the White Tower, the eight Guardias de Diablo, which were stationed to guard the life of Vega, waited their turn to guard the man they call Vega. Two of them were already in ear range of Vega with a watchful eye.

The Mi-35 Hind E neared the airspace of the White Tower. “Dominionite Forces, we need a landing spot. We are carrying Lieutenant Colonel Ragnarok Eriksson.” was the radio communiqué to the White Tower.

The transport helicopter touched down in the landing zone, the side door was opened and Ares got out first with a black cloak over his brick red and black Transylvanian body armor. His helmet under his left arm, his Black Cobra Katana on his back.

Ragnarok got out next with his helmet under his left arm. The two moved forwards as the helicopter powered down.

“How do you think, Lord Governor?” asked Ragnarok placing his helmet on the table, in front of where he would sit. “It’s a war, it is more then a hunt. Hammerfest burns because of the rebels.”

Ares placed his helmet down next to Ragnarok’s seat. “And those rebel burn with it.” he adds. “They started it to force us out and it worked until it got out of hand.” He took his seat and smiled.

Ragnarok took his seat, knowing that only three people in this room where his brothers; Ares and the two Guardias de Diablo swordsmen.

“So…why was I called here?” asked Ragnarok looked right at Vega.

The Odinson recieved the 'summons' with unusually good grace, considering his mood. He stalked to the base of the tower. He had been nearby, brooding over the fact that someone had obviously fucked up.

He took some solace in the fact that it obviously hadn't been him. But he was still in a bad mood. He stood in front of the guards to the tower and crossed his arms, sizing the men up.

Vega walked to a cabinet, and pulled out a sword. Then looked inside and found a small black box. As he walked towards the Corporal slowly, he spoke.

"I present you with the Dephirian HellKnight Sword along with the Crescent And Diamond pendant. You are now amongst the ranks of the second most-elite of the Dephirian Military. Due to you not recieving this honour long ago, I think it necessary that your status of Corporal should reflect in you new position and that you are now a Five Star General of the Dephirian Army. The man spoken to was in shock. Tears began to stream down his face. Overjoyness took him, and he collapsed on his knees. He held out his hands, and bowed as Vega gave him the two items.
