Reporters from CPT have already arrived here at the scene of a beautiful ceremony of foreign matrimony. Brasland, a nation most of us haven't heard of is hosting a wedding, and we are covering it! Why? Because ratings are low and we don't have enough programs to fill our schedule this week! Stay tuned for more after this...

"The streets of Markund are crowded today. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and the wedding bells are ringing. Oh yes and I forgot, the traffic horns are beeping, and the roadrage has already began, but in the spirit of the royal wedding the citizenry has shown incredible patience. I'm standing here live outside the beautiful St Nicholas Cathedral, already the great belltower is tolling, announcing preparation for the wedding have begun. Truly you can feel that both love and patriotism are in the air around this happy occasion. While society's elite are clamoring to get into the cathedral, hundreds, maybe even thousands more are waiting outside just to be in the presence of the future rulers on the happy occasion. Truly a much more exciting event than we anticipated...back to you Joann."

"Thanks Franz, this truly is something folks, much more exciting than we anticipated...so this is how foreign rulers get married. More to come, right after a word from our sponsor."

Brasland has a new Crown Princess

Yesterday at midday Prince George, Brasland's heir, married the beautiful Constantina Alexandrovna, daughter of Tsar Alexander III of Magnus Valerius, in a lavish ceremony attended by most of the world's royalty and heads of state. The ceremony was celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, where members of the Braslandian royal family have traditionally married.
After the ceremony, and Orthodox blessing was given to the couple, as Princess Constantina did not renounce to her Orthodox faith (Prince George and his family are Catholics). Later, King Frederick offered a banquet at the Royal Palace, to honour the crown princely couple.
