I am re-creating an "Earth" that I made a long time ago on an old expired account of mine. It took off very well, but unfortunatley I was unable to keep up with it and had to let it die. Anyways its back so If you are interested sign up. It is slightly tweaked form last round... mainly the formula for how much your population is. pay special attention to that. My old account name was Blacktower, in case you want to look it up.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The World will be based in Ancient Roman Times. The Unit types are to be based upon troop types of that era, and depending on where your claims are on tha map determins what Kind of troops you can have (so be realistic. If you are based in England, you wont have Elephants lol) There are however some simple rules and Guidelines that are to be followed:

-Check the list of claims before you post by hitting Ctrl F, then typing in the countries name.
-All claims must be accepted by me.
-Any Claims outside of your origional claim must be done using RP. If I see "I claim Italy and moved my troops in" then It will be ignored. Also you must provide a link to the thread showing that this has happened.
-It's up to you to come here and check that you claims have been accepted and verified. I am only Human and Might miss one or two, so If I miss them just remind me and give me the link and I will check them
-Please keep claims resonable. Keep in mind that in Roman times, Armies did not conquer massive ammounts of land at a time. It was usually Cities and their surrounding areas, etc. So most of the time if you attack a country or region, you wont take it all over at once. You will claim for example, the south east section.
-All Earth BC RPs MUST HAVE (Earth BC) in their title, so that people can pick them out of the massive ammounts of Threads being created.
-Check out the threads tied to this one (ie, the map thread, the events thread, etc) to keep tabs on whats going on in the World.
-One Nation only. You cannot make claims with a puppet or seperate account
-You cannot ignore an attack or action unless there is a very good reason. If you do ignore an attack and do not have good reason the attack WILL STILL BE RECOGNISED by me (at my discretion).
-You must claim what your popultion is (see equation below)
Because civilization Populations were drastically smaller in Roman times then they are in the NS earth, the following equation will be use to figure out your population. You will take your Nations current population and divide it by 1000. So it looks like this:

nation X has a population of 1,000,000,000. They divide by 1,000 and get 1,000,000. <---- That is there Population in Earth BC.

Here is the Claim limit
--------------------

NS nations under 50 million: section of country... relative to population.
under 500 million, more then 50 million: 1 Country
Over 500 million, under 1 billion: 2 Countries
Over 1 billion: 3 countries

(countries refer to current day borders... just to make things easy. for example, England and France are both acceptable claims as one country. Larger can be claimed seperatley. Also, try to have your countries sharing borders somehow, unless there is a good in character reason)

Ready.... Set..... Claim!!!

[THIS EARTH IS BASED IN THE KNOWN WORLD DURING ROMAN TIMES!!!]

--Current Claims--
-All Larger Islands are considered separate claims (ie: Sardinia, Crete, etc)
-All origional Claims are in blue. Conquerd/annexed/etc claims are in red
-Russia is to large an area to be considered one country, so it has been cut into four sections. Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, and Southeast.

-For now the map shall be limited to The world as it was known to the Romans. If the world fills up quickly I may open up more regions of the world, but for now, claim only countries shown on the map.

The game will not start until I officially announce it. that will not be until the majority of the map has been filled.
also, remember that when choosing your regions that you will have to RP in a way that makes sense. for example, if you control northern russia, you probobly wont be using Camel riders or elephants. RP responsibly, and according to your interests :)

also, just as a guideline... when you are RPing the takeover or annexation of a region, and it is currently not controlled by a Nation, ask someone to Roleplay the local forces or militia that may be in control. Make it interesting for outsiders to read

A good idea would be to make a post about your Country, Kingdom, Tribe, Empire, or whatever you might be. give a breif history, how you came to be, your goals, etc. Then have it as a link in your signature so that other people can read it if they need it or want to.

Why would you use a map and lay down claims along modern political boundries? Its nonsensical. Lay them down around Tribal and National bountries of the Ancient times..

dont think berlin exsisted back then. not very many current cities did. all we are doing is selecting the land. you can make up your own cities and whatever on your own. this is a loosley realistic RP world.
