A few years past after the monstrous advance of the Nut jumpgate nexus and the clear revelation of substancial other parties in space, it was clearly decided that the official Dian policy would be peaceful cooperation for mutually benificial advance.

Meetings with other parties had been few in number; however, it was begining to be realized that ICCD both had an advantage and a great disadvantage in it's current situation.

It was decided within the domus divina that ICCD would advertise inviting business to the distant altus astrum, as well as offer payment for technologies and equipment, ships and other materials.

A message was broadcast by the magister populli- on all Psycor flights- in a number of known languages

"Greetings We invite business and technology exchanges. List your conditions and the items you will trade. Thankyou"

This may be the equivlent of space spam.. a repeating signal.. also new communications dishes were added to the survey ships to scan a wide range of return signals.

I am uncertain if you can physically take this however, for starters I can transfer one of our current AI's software including language routines from this ships computer. Data encryptian varies, for our systems; however we can provide a basic 128 bit trinary quantum qubit multilayer symbolic reduction algorythm, used for "condensed information". Largely used is electromagnetic frequency or bands of a prism, then broken down and transfered to a quantum drive that optically reseeds light bands in cycles at the speed of light through the aligned prism. the software utilizes symbolic trinary in blocks of 128 tribits

It is very much sought to supliment the Nut Nexus technology due to the risk involved in using it, and it's future development. There are some that beleive it may pose a risk to the timespace continium.

As a gift or momento, I will leave you my personal handheld computer, so that at least this day can be remembered by a physical artifact. On it is my own C.I. pesonality profile for our VR systems. While it is not fully complete it serves many purposes to allow our computer system to know all my preferences, on this ship and other places that implement the PP interface system.

We may come to the ship. Nonetheless, we use pure-energy as a form of information transmission. The lattice allows us quite powerful computing, nonetheless, we feel that transmission of the FTL-drive data we possess can be done simply.

The three drives we possess are simplistic, yet differing in nature. The first is named Truespace. Those who formerly possessed it are almost nonexistant, and the technology itself is relatively simple. The passage between dimensions is facilitated by a 'Truespace drive', and a 'Truespace shield' allows you to avoid the corrosive nature of the dimension. It is fairly quick, however, 'corridors', made when many ships travel the same path, facilitate travel a hundred-fold. <data transmitted>

Secondly, we possess the schematics for a standard fold drive. Such a drive simply warps the fabric of space - as you might pull the fabric of a dress, and then push a needle through it. Such drives are more expensive than Truespace ones, and often require mammoth amounts of power to operate. <data transmitted>

Thirdly, the hyperspace drive that many possess is within our knowledge, as well. Simply jetting oneself into hyperspace, and exiting at a predetermined exit point, without expending any effort in hyperspace is a simplistic technology, in comparison to the others, but it has often been used by many nations as a cheap and convinient method of travel, from civilian ships, to military ones. <data transmitted>.

The agenda of the Maker-Mind here was quite simple. Provide other nations with secrets it had hoarded jealously for years, and allow them to flourish. This directly contradicted the Purpose. However, indirectly, it provided a grateful - and pliable bulwark which could be used in the future...

I'm expecting the return ship to arrive in the next 30 minutes. Right now we only have a one way gate, however whenver we open the gate it stays openon the other side for a short time. If we stay to long without someone to open the gate from the nexus we become stranded. Part of the issue is a variable safety in the jump. Even for this ship one in every 35 missions results in lost contact or incorrect coordinates.."

We are not people. We are the Maker-Mind. Fragments of a greater whole, I would say. We do not require trade. We exist only to serve the Purpose, and all that we require is allotted to us to serve.

Pure-energy minds are not sustainable, so far as we have found, outside the dimension known as the lattice. Only the altered physics have given us the ability to sustain such minds with ease.

It paused, for a moment. A tear in space-time would serve the Purpose. And that was enough. But it would not fully serve the purpose, it knew. And so, it had to speak.

Space-time tears are not our area of expertise. Nonetheless, the universe is infinite. But the law that states energy cannot be created nor destroyed has proven to be a valid one. We, personally, do not believe in the validity of such a thing. But we are unexperienced.

If you cannot return, we will construct a hyperspace gateway for you. It is of no consequence, although, I believe there are few among my personal scions who have the ability to do so.

It paused again. Communication the way it had been was clumsy, and, furthermore, didn't allow it full command over the 'limbs', or ships it had. It spoke once more, Courtier's graceful command over any language it had learnt serving it well.

and so the other side of the nut nexus opened: at first a whiteblue tear in the void of space then getting larger until over a kilometer in size, a ship that looked somewhat like the Curto pulsed it's way out.


This ship will return now then, and this location marked She said.

The ship then approached the energy portal and was enveloped

Soon the Psycor pilot would be in debreifing, a momentus debreifing at that.

For the time being though, the expeince and pure energy minds and the data that may be contained in the logs of the ship were vital.

For safety the two ships breifly docked before entering and she transmitted the ships logs to the other.

and then they disolved in a channel back to the nut nexus a familiar step that was becoming much like jumping a hurdle.

Soon after an hour or two the portal on the other side of Nut started disapating much like it had opened. with blue and white light receeding until just a pinprick was seen like that popping through a dress, folding in spacetime
