A peacekeeping force was quickly being assembled on the island. Most of the force would consist of the Riot Control Division and MP's but a unit trained to handle biological, chemical and nuclear warfare called BCNU would also be going along. As a precaution everyone in the force would be equipped with NBC gear and there vehicles would be equipped to protect the men from the harmful radiation which wasn't too hard considering almost all of the Ustian Militaries vehicles are already protected from such threats.

The order was given, the peacekeeping force loaded up into the Globemaster's and Galaxy's. Officially there was only peacekeeping troops in the force but unofficially there was a squad of the elite 1st SOD (Special Operations Detachment) and a few deadly Dark Agents but this is understandable considering the government denies the existence of these two forces. After a short period of time everyone was in and the transports took off towards Peoplesfreedom for a second time. The situation was strangely similar to the Southwest war but instead of being a civil war it was a war against terrorism.

Supplies were coming down from the upper levels as the Eternal carrier group prepared to leave, It would meet up with the 3rd battle group half way to the target nation. The large air craft carrier was the last ship to be fully supplied. The port gate opened and the fleet slowly moved out of Boaz harbor and headed for open water. They had protection from Boaz for a great distance but once they were out of there protection they would have a few hours before meeting the 3rd battle group.

"Hey, how long do you think we'll be here?" asked Lock Shallow

The Eternal fleet also known as the 3rd carrier group had just met up with the rest of the force and began moving to point Bravo which is the coast of PeoplesFreedom to drop of supplies, clean up and relief crews and other relief supplies.

The Captain looked out side the bridge it was raining and the deck was empty for the moment "So another anti-terrorism operation eh?" he said "well sir its better to get them were they live rather then in are back yard" his XO said. The captain turned to him "You may be right, I hope those commanders on the Freedom and the Eternal carriers know how to carry this out" he then said as a loud clap of thunder gave a few people on the bridge a wake up call.

The 98th Infantry Regiment, headed by General Klosh, rushed into the capitol after hearing of the downed squad patroling the area.

"DAMN, DAMN, DAMN! I never thought this moment was going to come!" shouted the squad leader leading one squad. "Let's kill these sons of..."

"Watch your mouth, soldier" stated the second-in-command of the 98th Infantry Regiment. "We could be killed also, we are only here to patrol the area. Those terrorists are not yet in our gunsights".

The 98th Infantry Regiment arrived in the capitol 2 hours after the downed squad was confirmed dead. One half of the regiment patrolled the area where the downed squad was, while the other half searched the city for terrorists. All soldiers wore dirty uniforms, with no rank insignias so as to prevent officers to become targets for the enemy. Soldiers knew their officers only by looking into their face.

"No sign of the bastards here" said a squad leader. "Fireteam Alpha, Beta, and Charlie, report back to the border of the city. Let the other squads continue patrolling.

"Dammit!" Shouted General Klosh after 2 hours of patroling. "They must've ran away like the cowards they are. Keep patroling, and FIRE AT WILL if any signs of these terrorists are seen".

At point Bravo ZAFT forces began to land a small force to escort the relief and other air convoys to the capital. The convoy was escorted by troops, Linear tanks (both tpye I and II) and missile trucks. Light air cover could be deployed but was not needed.

The convoy reached the capital the troops walked through the streets when they started to hear gun fire so a tank and a squadron of troops broke off to investigate. The reached the gun fire and called out to the troops under fire "Is any one injured?!" a soldier yelled as the tank and them rolled down the street.

The General of the Air Force has released this statement today:

"The Imperial Republic of Icovir will enter the Imperial Air Force into this war officially at this moment. Air support will guard over the PeoplesFreedom's capitol, patroling, for it seems our foot soldiers are have some troubles there.

No bombings will take place for fear of killing too many innocent civilians, but Icovir will warn the citizens of the PeoplesFreedom's capitol that an imminent airstrike may happen. Leaflets will be distributed to warn you 1 day before the air strikes".

The driver, a man named Mohamed Al-Bakhr, looked nervously out the window, eyeing down the security he saw around him. The city hall would be to much of a difficult target. Instead, he chose a softer one.

He looked at the options before him. He passed an elementary school, and began to pull of into the parking lot, before realizing that these children are innocent, and it is the adults that must be punished for their wicked ways. His next target was a hospital. He pulled into the underground parking garage, and picked up the trigger. He stared at it, thinking about what he was about to do. Then, once more, he changed his mind. Sick Muslims may be in the hospital, and they could not be harmed, despite the fact that they are conformist. Finally, he made up his mind, and drove towards the harbor.

The truck entered into the main port terminal, not looking at all out of place with all of the other large trucks loading and unloading from the large ships. Al-Bakhr pulled his truck up to one of the larger ships, apparently an oil tanker from an outside nation. Oil...it ruined his family. The Griffincrest Corporation and their puppet of a government in Achmed Chalabi had detained his brother and later executed him. This would be in his memory, his retaliation at the west for the loss of his beloved brother. He closed his eyes and mumbled a quick prayer in Arabic. Then, he pressed the trigger. A massive fertilizer bomb exploded in his truck, creating a huge explosion, tearing a massive hole in the side of the ship. Oil bled into the water, as nearby martyrs cheered. More attacks would soon follow. The Peoplesfreedom would not be safe.

The Clean up would cost at least a few hundred million, plus the harbour would be shut down for at least two weeks, which would cost anywhere from 1 billion to 25 billion to lost profit. As the Police arrived, they began to pick up whatever evidence they could find. By the end of the day, 200 people were dead or woundend. President Booch as now deployed Army Reserve forces to harbours. Despite the massive amoumts of cargo coming in, the Reserve coupled with local police, port officers, and contacters would be able to search 60% of cargo, up from just 10%.

"This is Glen Hathaway reporting from Icovir's capitol, Viktivskni, where protests have reached a point to where the government has to step in.

Protesters have been chanting over and over since Icovir entered the War in the PeoplesFreedom that 'War means Failure, evacuate while we still can!'. Protesters have tried to storm the newly built Parliament Building, built after the short UCN-Icovirian war when there was a regime-change in Icovir.

His Majesty Emperor Victor I has sent in Military Police to guard the parliament building, but no martial law status has been proclaimed. The Emperor has stated:

'Why claim martial law? The people are entitled to their own opinions, just as long as no violence occurs. Though, it is too late to evacuate now that we have entered this war. If we evacuate now, it is uncertain whether or not Allah's Matyr Brigade will chase us to our own soil, striking us unprepared and killing hundreds in 1 hour, while that would take a half a year in moderate warfare'.

Corporal Johnson was field promoted to second-in-command. He continued to fire on terrorist positions, until finally he threw a flash grenade into the general area of the enemy.

After the flash erupted, he ordered what was left of Squad 3, 5 men, into the area. They gunned down all 5 of the terrorists. None of the enemy was left.

Out of the 98th Infantry Regiment, 50 men, only 6 remained at the end of this victory.

The Emperor of Icovir, Victor I, hearing quicky of this victory but also aware that 44 men had died in one firefight, quickly made his move.

He disbanded the 98th Infantry Regiment, and merged the remaining members of the 98th into another squad in the 99th Infantry Regiment. He then sent that regiment to patrol the area. The 99th Infantry Regiment didn't have sniper support, however, so the Emperor also merged in some Advanced Marksman, and sent them into the PeoplesFreedom's capitol.

As soon as the regiment got there, they were to follow the Emperor's orders, very rare since the Emperor usually doesn't give orders to a single regiment, but to a branch of the military as a whole.

All snipers were to secure rooftops and patrol from there.

He turned the corner along with another member of his squad, saw another terroist seemingly waiting for him, and was killed. Peter quickly gathered the squad and found Dark Agents Eric Shepard and Mark Zimmer. It was a little shorter and fired full automatic. The Agents However had a modified version which was equipped with a silencer and could be used with all of there little gadgets. After all of that was finished they waited for Richard on the Tarmac.

The 11 soldiers of the 1 ISF squad jumped out of the Apache and parachuted 5 miles away from the capitol of the PeoplesFreedom, into a farmland. They ran into the capitol, guns ready.

They then proceeded to patrol the streets until 11:00 PM, when there were only a few people left on the streets. That was when they went into some abandoned, beat down buildings to patrol the all types of streets.

When their time was up, the watch soldier went to sleep and woke one of the sleeping soldiers to take his place. This plan worked near-perfectly, and the first 2 days of the ISF squad's "visit" to the PeoplesRepublic went by well.

The tear gas only further aggitated the rioters, who now began to storm the police station, and throw firebombs through the windows. Fianlly, the most unexpected thing of all happened. As the ZAFT chopper made its turn to come home, an SA-14 "Gremlin" man portable SAM opened up. The missile shrieked through the air as it made its way for the unsuspecting chopper.

OOC: They are heat seeking, but are your men robots? They would need some incredibly fast reaction time to be able to hit the counter measures when an SAM is launched from directly under them.

OOC: well you can't have a birds eye view while patroling if your at the tree tops, you need to get high up, really high like 7-10,000 feet or so which gives time to fire off couter messures

I'm going to have to step in and ask a question here. When you are two miles up, its going to be really tough to be able to see what the hell is happening on the ground.
