A shaky Camcorder was turned on, the screen was rather grainy and poor in its quality, the sound was rather lacking and the lighting was next to nothing, obviously the dark figure in the screen did not want to be known, every so often the light above him shook and the screen of the camera distorted, something above him was moving with enough force to cause movement below…

Dust rained down from the ceiling then after a few seconds a light sprinkling of dust drifted down just next to the dark figure…

“I am a Professor, I have been for so many years that I have forgotten when I’d completed my degree, I do not remember what I was a Professor in, but I do know that it is because of the Kraven Menace that I have forgotten so much…” The figures voice was old sounding, dry and husky…

“The noises you can hear above me are the sounds of Tanks, Kraven tanks rolling over head, and that little dull thud, it’s a weapon I’ve never seen them employ before, its an Artillery piece that is capable of lobbing a high explosive shell many miles further than their Basilisk mobile Artillery, its static, but it has multiple barrels, A Gatlin Earth shaker cannon if you’d like…. I saw it tear up the city they were firing at.”

He paused as another salvo went off, causing the ground to shake violently, dust gently fell from the ceiling, causing the shadowy figure to cough gently…

“In a matter of minutes the weapon had levelled a vast portion of the city, its Crew sat on a gyroscopic stabilised platform that was independent from the rest of the machine, while the recoil of the weapon caused the weapon to move back along a set of rails, the crew section remained totally stable…”

He paused again…

“It’s not perfect though, it’s a belt fed weapon, and the size of the belt often means its prone to jamming, it was funny to watch at first, when they had Kreigsmarines operating it, whenever one of the shells jammed the Kreigsmarines scurried away like terrified rats… that soon ended though, Its crewed by Capitol Police and all they do is systematically remove the jam, then continue to fire…”

The sighed, as though he’d been running all of his life…

“It cannot fire for more than five minutes at a time” he remarked “The recoil of the weapon causes it to run along a set of steel tracks, but a set of heavy duty springs stop the weapon from being propelled along the rails at an astonishing speed, but still allow it enough movement to prevent the weapons platform from collapsing…”

“Besides, I’m digressing… this is not the purpose of the Video…”

“I have seen many of the things that Kraven has done, I’ve witnessed first hand the violence and the depravity of their so called ‘Super soldiers’ who are nothing more than barbarous monsters who perform the whim of their masters without so much as a nod or a glance…”

“Kraven has gone too far, for weeks now they have been shelling the city that lies twenty miles to the west of my current location, for weeks now they have been shipping women and children into the hills where they now mine Ores for the Kraven War Machine, the men refused to give up, they are fighting in the city now, fighting for whatever they have left, and that is why Kraven decided to shell the city with their new weapon, but do you know what was sick?” The man paused, holding his head in his hands…

“The men of that city let the women and children go, hoping that somewhere someone in The Kraven Military had an ounce of decency and let them live, but no, not even Kraven’s most humane officer would have allowed that, instead they forced every single one of them to watch as the Gatlin Earth shaker began to rhythmically shell the city… it was awful..”

“You might wonder how I know all of this, yet haven’t been captured…”

“Well, I’ve forgotten what I’d passed my Degree in, but I knew that up until they started shelling the city, I was working for Kraven, this is how I know all of this information… Something needs to be done, If anyone can hear me… or can receive this transmission… Please Help Us… you may be our only hope..”

“They’d stopped shelling the city last night for about an hour, while they changed the cooling relays, I snuck into the city to see if there were any survivors, to my surprise, there was, hundreds of them had dug themselves tiny dug outs and fox holes, they hid when the shells came, although in the initial phase, they told me, they lost thousands to the weapons of Kraven..”

“So I ask again… Kraven has gone too far… Kraven needs to be stopped… and I ask you… free these people….” The man was reaching a frantic fever pitch…

“My location is one hundred and fifty miles south from the Capitol City of Norska… These people do not deserve whats happening to them… Please… Send help…” With that Kraven Communication operators severed the link and began to trace the source of the signal…

It wouldn’t be long before this professor was found and executed for Thought Crimes…

But it would seem, his message for help had reached the ears of the world…

I hate to be a pain but you should be aware that a belt fed artillery peice is all but impossible, the usefulness of belt feeding is non existant above 30-35mm weapons.

The easiest explanation is that the professor is mistaken and while it might look belt fed it quite obviously isn't to the trained eye.

Of course a gatling artillery peice is also extremely pointless, a number of single barreled guns of the same calibre with decent auto loaders would give you a better rate of fire.

OOC: I don't particualrly care i just felt like being a realism nazi last night.
Of course it could be doen if you had the materials strong enough to biuld the belt out of and some kind of external power source stupendously large enough to actually move it (although i would admit that the kind of power source required to actually move the barrels and drive the loading system of a gatling artillery peice might be enough to drag a short belt). Although saying that a linkless feed system would be superior with a slightly lower power requirement, slightly better reliability and to the untrained eye could look like a belt feed plus you don't have to worry about throwing big chunks of metal out the side of the gun.

Wanderjariann Communications Officers recieved the message several hours after it was relayed. Instantly knowing they possessed something of vital importance, Lieutenant Zimmerman sprinted to give the report to his superiors.

"Sir!" He said, saluting Captain von Bock. "I have recieved a message of the utmost importance."

"What is it, Lieutenant?" He replied.

"A radio message. Someone from the Kraven Corporation wishes to defect, and gave us useful intel on his new weapons. If we can get him to Wanderjar, when war comes we'll be well prepared."

"Thank you Lieutenant." He said. "I'll relay this to the Emperor."


The Emperor recieved it and didn't even need to consider what needed to be done.

He said almost instantly, "Send in the GSG-9. Two A-Teams, full strength, with one Kilo Team to provide RECON back home on the enemy's strenght, and some of those new toys he has, will be ideal. Lets draw up a plan."

"Well sir," The Captain began. "He sent it several hours ago. He's located approximately 150 miles south, away from the Capital. Thats all we know. Also, the message was sent approximately four hours ago, so we really need to hurry, he may not be alive much longer!"

"Thank you for your information," The young Emperor replied with a smile and nod. "What we should likely do is have our troops land via Zodiac somewhere along their coast line, and sneak into the place. From there, make their way to the man's location, find him, and exfil. If he is captured, find out where he is, and get him. If not possible, then we'll need to at least destroy this cannon of his. Thank you, and if you recieve anything else, do send it to me without delay."

The Captain saluted and left.

Later, in the breifing room, the 32 GSG-9 Operators were informed on the upcoming mission.

"Alright men, we've got a big one. We've been on some intense missions before, but nothing like this." The GSG-9 Team leader said. Captain Baumer was very experianced, having led numerous Wanderjarian GSG-9 strikes in the past, particularly against Blackhelm Confederacy targets.

"Where is it Chief?" One of the operators asked.

With a sigh, he replied, "The Kraven Corporation."

The room went dead silent.

"And what are we doing there sir?" Replied a nervous replacement troop.

"Rescuing a defector, and possibly sabotaging an enemy artillery piece that's causing....frustration to the war effort. If we destroy it, when the war inevitably turns into another World War, he'll have one less pretty toy to use. There's also talk of taking on Father, but thats likely just wishful thinking." Everyone nodded in agreement.

"We're getting new equipment for this one." The Captain said. "Its called FFW, or Future Force Warrior. Its top notch, more specificallydesigned for us than our previous Integrated War Fighter Systems. It is capable of transforming itself to come damn close to blending in with its surroundings, making us close to invisible. Also, it has a more advanced communications system, so you can all talk to each other, but Kraven is going to have one hell of a time hearing what you're saying!" That drew some laughter from the crowd. "This one's going to be tough. But we can do it. Here's the plan of attack....."


In less than two hours after recieving the message, the Wanderjarian forces were on route to the Kraven Corporation.

OOC: One, he does say they are static barrels. Two, the belt system does have a drawback of causing frequent jams. So it isn't really gatling, and the belt system is indeed impractical.
I like the way Kraven does things. It is the epitome of evil empire, right down to wasteing resources on a single, massive, impractical weapon, rather than a hundred better ones.

Yeah, I asked Kraven to let my GSG-9 have a shot at him because I didn't want to be invaded yet, but I wanted part in the new Kraven Wars. So he made this thread so that I can try to rescue a defector, and then try to bomb a massive artillery cannon.


There are some side plots, but thats the basics...

I have a friend who is dyslexic, and this is what I did to help him write better.

Take what you want to say, and literally say it out loud. Then, write it down exactly as you said it. It worked for my friend, maybe it'll work for you. :)

OOC: Ah. I got it. Kraven knows someone has his armor, he doesn't know who. Makes sense. Of course, he's still likely to pounce on your operatives wherever they surface. That's why I developed my own armor. Some loony religious fanatics used both Kraven armor and DNA, and he went after them, but then they ended up worshipping the CP, and then everything went to hell, and then the RP died. I should go bump it.

Now if they survive all of this crap, they are sent to specialization schools were they would recieve their roles in the DeathKnight society.

All-in-all, out of a group of 10,000...only about 10 will survive. Talk about stem cell research at it's height.

Age Five, training ends. Age Six, two-on-two matches. Age seven, kills first man. Age ten, if still alive, is exposed to more chemicals to induce a higher immunity value. Many more are killed. Ages 10-15, military training process begins. Education is introduced between ages 4-16.

Now if they survive all of this crap, they are sent to specialization schools were they would recieve their roles in the DeathKnight society.

All-in-all, out of a group of 10,000...only about 10 will survive. Talk about stem cell research at it's height.

I'm not sure dude. Right now I just have to wait for Kraven to come back to post, then make my GSG-9 Operators get into the country, and extract a scientist who wishes to defect.


I've always wanted to see if my GSG-9 could fight his Capitol Police. Well now I have my chance. :D

OOC: Not yet bro, I more just made a post saying we found the message, and said my teams were coming, but I was going to wait until you posted again as to the situation in Kraven to even make landfall.


Do you have a map handy, including the different sectors? I'd like to eventually meet up with that resistance element you made mention of in your factbook.


I have four teams coming basically: A Kilo Team, which is a light recon unit (5 to 6 operators) which I will have scout your Military District. Also, two A Teams: fully armed (12 Operators) Special Forces units which will do two different operations. One will try to extract the doctor, the other is going to try to find this Cannon you made mention of, and hopefully destroy it.

Further more, I have one Naval GSG-9 team (Basically my Navy Seals), which is the same as an A-Team, just operates around the sea more.

Just a brief background on what I'm doing. :)
