I'm thinking of redoing a PT roleplay, though I'm not sure people would be quite interested in this, but instead of having people read about Jenrak's past, I thought I would take a different position and let people help build it. I'm wondering if anyone is willing to play a country defending itself from ancient Jenrak (called Methronn at the time) or someone willing to invade me. It's all swords and bows, no magic, all PT. No gunpowder, etc.

what I meant was that I will sign up. And perhaps if you are interested we might make it into a tribal war. Where different tribes / cities fight among themselves to gain control of the region. I think that would have been cool. Ofcaurse that would rule out large armies mounting 10.000 men and instead we would have to do with maximum 1000 men armies.

Ooooh kinda like City States going against each other....that sounds funky!! Maybe a few people play neighbouring inferior tribes etc....hmmmm

That could be infact quite interesting, which could be incorporated into the roleplay somehow, seeing as Ancient Jenrak is one giant city state (The Methronnmin empire is simply the city of Methronn which as jurisdiction over other city states). You could roleplay another city if you wish.

Though city states are often quite big in history. It's just that Greek City states were small due to the ideas of Plato's Republic on the rule that they should not exceed 5000 people for efficiency.

I know what you mean Jenrak. I am interested as well in doing PT at the moment, and for our case I have just the remedey. I, under one of my puppet nations, created an rp that never quite got off the ground but is still good to use as a basis if you like.

The scenario so far I have for this is that Methronnmin has decided to go about and extend its empire borders, but has to take certain countries in between to have a more favourable access to the states they wish to annex.

But of course, said nations do not wish to be annexed, and thus war ensues. I like the sound of that.

Sure. I'll need information on your states though, just to get things cleared up. I'll post up some information on Methronn soon.

What sort of things are you looking for?

Military type, government, etc., the usual.
