"The Benelux should be united once again" Prime Minister Griffith said in parliament, on the question if she was deliberately rearming her forces for an invasion. "However, this should be done solely by diplomatical means. War should be in a museum. Why I'm rearming is to improve the capability of the Dutch Army to react to a crisis overseas."

Plans for a reunification of the Benelux have been laying around in the Hague for a longer time. Ever since the death of Queen Beatrix, the governing ministers have been drawing up a plan for the Benelux. The Nation, which is to be formed after talks with both the Belgians and the Luxembourgians, should have a central government in Rotterdam, which will become the capital of the new state, while the existing Belgian and Luxembourgian provinces will be joined with the 12 Dutch provinces, will be governed in the same way as before in the Netherlands, while a special sub-government will take care of the French speaking parts of Belgium and Luxembourg.

It is yet unknown if Belgium and Luxembourg will agree in starting talks, but the expectation is that these talks will be completed before the elections in 2026.

USS Waterford / Off the coast of Cuba

Captain only we have a thirty minute window to drop the marine squadron
for there secret recon mission in southern cuba. Then we must return to deeper water so we aren't spotted by enemy satillites during there next schuduled fly over. Yes Mr. President the USS Waterford / SSN 812, a Virginia class attack submarime has dropped there forces near South Cuba with the USS George Washington and Ticonderoga backing her up, the USS George H W Bush is off the coast of Isreal, the USS America II and her fleet is conducting maneuvers in the Mediterranean Sea as the fleets of the USS Ronald Reagan & the USS Nimitz are doing the same in the Indain Ocean just outside the Arabian Sea. We have been monitoring shipment movements for years now and will be able to cut supply lines if necessary. Ok ... thank you Admiral I want to send a message to Triad of Evil that we will not allow a nuclear attack on Israel. Iran has been designated a state sponsor of terrorism for its activities in Lebanon and elsewhere in the world will remains subject to US economic sanctions and export controls because of its continued involvement. Furthermore I wish to be ready to include Syria & Algeria in that designation if they don't standown.
What about the Star Wars orbital satillite network General Gerard? Is it ready to defend Isreals airspace if need be? Yes Sir Mr. President we have operational readiness worldwide. Very Good General I think we are as ready as is humanly possible.
