OOC: Checlok isn't a nation in nationstates, if it is, I didn't know.

Choose which side to join, the Empire's side (wanting to annex Checlok into the Empire) or Checlok's side (wanting to maintain it's freedom).

IC: Emperor Victor I has ordered troops into the United Democracy of Checlok. This set of protests in the nation of Checlok.

"The Empire of Icovir must continue to grow" states the Emperor, "we must build up our military strength and show the world that we are, in fact, a growing Empire".

The President of Checlok issued this statement: "We are calling out to all of our allies to help us maintain our independance".


"The President and Vice President of Checlok has 1 hour to give up Checlok. If not, we will be forced to activate our troops occupying the United Democracy of Checlok." stated the Emperor.

The Emperor has issued a statement to the people of Checlok. This statement has been jammed into Checlok's airways, and all citizens watching television or listening to the radio heard the speech.

"Checlokians, this is the Emperor of Icovir, Emperor Victor I. We are attempting to free you from your horrible leader and annex you into the Empire of Icovir.

Your government lies to you. We are not going to murder many innocent civilians unless your government continues to disobey our demands. Look at how bad your economy is! Look at how good the many members of the Empire's economy is!

If and when we annex you, we will improve your economy and focus 200 million Icovirs into improving the state of your country and into elections, funding both major parties of Checlok and allowing you to vote for the Minister of Checlok, as we have done with our other members.

If your government continues to deny us, we will strike, and there will be casualties. We urge you to attempt to overthrow our government and turn them over to Icovirian officials, so they will never enter office again".

And I will chose the option of the solidarity with Checlok´s people if this thread stays instead of the conflict between Icovir and the UCN... Also, the economic state of your own nation is dreadful, so I will have to asume Checlok is in a horrible crisis probably...
