I am probably not going to be very good at this, but I wanted to open discussion so here you go. Post idea, as will I as soon as I think about it some more.

Be it Resolved that this alliance will be known as the World Anti-Terrorism Alliance. (W.A.T.A.)

Be it Resolved that terrorism, as will be defined by membership, is an evil act, and must be destroyed in order to create a more civilized world.

Be it Resolved that all members will use all available resources to defend all nations, regardless of race, sex, or policies, against the tyranny of terrorism.

Be it Resolved that this alliance's goal is to rid the world of terrorism, and will not focus on unrelated matters.

Be it Resolved that terrorism is defined as all criminal acts directed against a State intended or calculated to create a state of terror in the minds of particular persons, groups, or governmental bodies.

Be it Resolved that a Security Council shall be created and consist of four permanent member, and one rotating member.

Be it Resolved that the Permanent members of the Security Council be Great Nari (Founder), Clandonia Prime, Brydog, and __________.

Be it Resolved that the Rotating member will change every three months, and may not repeat until all other members have been given the position.

Be it Resolved that the Rotating member order will based on when the nation joined the alliance.

why just MT?

Yes I think its an excellent idea, we should make it like Tom Clancys Rainbow Six we all contribute special forces teams. We then use combined military firepower and use it to hunt out these groups one by one.

I like it. I think we must first create a strong mission statement...followed a system of decision making. Perhaps like a UN style Security Council.

Well it does, but I would not RP with a FT nation because in my world that technology doesnt exist yet.

Well, the slightly pyschopathic, but very anti-terrorist empire of Naasha is in, I like the idea of a security council, or similar, maybe each member state gets one vote on each issue, issues can be brought before the council by member nations, or other nations that have a member nation vouch for them. Just an idea.

Our mission statement:

To engage and prevent terrorisism anywhere globally, we work without borders.

We work as one, not as seperate entitys.

We will use all means required to destroy or capture terrorists.

Clandonia will contribute our Joint Special Forces Unit, combined with the elite tri-services of the Marines Commandos, Paratroopers and Special Air Service.

OOC: You should add all the points to the first post in and edit, then add them in as people come up with them who are intrested.

Let us now focus on a semi-government thing. I was thinking four permanent members, and one member that rotates every three months(Real time) or so.

We wish to join this alliance also and will contribute our most elite unit, 1st SFG.

Like I said...before we make commitments.let us create the system first.

I think a semi-permanent council sounds acceptable, but other nations should be able to join, placing forces under the council's control in return for the protection and shared-intelligence of the alliance.

I think nations will be able to speak and make positions but the Big Five will do the voting.

This would not be a defensive force, it would be offensive or what I hope it to be. Our teams and forces will be on the warpath until these terrorist forces are defeated. No way will this be a defencive pact.

Right. I agree, but there need to be a certain maintainment of defensive forces as well.

That was my idea yes, by protection my meaning was that should a member nation come under terrorist attack, it should receive immediate, priority aid from the council as it sees fit.

I agree. I am going to spend time the next couple days putting together a proper statement of our goals and rules and such. I will keep checking here but continue the flow of ideas in case I dont think of something.

Livid: Being at war with a nation run by terrorists and due to recent events and my collegues' views on terrorism, South Lizasauria would like to join.

The Empire would be honored to join such an alliance and will gladly provide counter-terrorism advisers , equipment and weaponary to all member nations .
