Late 2009: Argentina, Brazil, Russia begin restocking and renovating military.
2013: Argentina and Brazil sign a mutual-defense pact.
2025: Argentina and Brazil abruptly launch an invasion of Paraguay and Uruguay as international attention is focused on Russia and the PAC. The invasion is quick and bloody, the Paraguayan and Uruguayan militarys slaughtered. Uruguay is absorbed by Argentina, Paraguay by Brazil.
2025: Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia, Guyana, and Surinam form the Free South American League (FSAL). French Guyana voluntarily is absorbed by Brazil.
2027: Under the Leadership of High Marshall Colivre, the FSAL sets up the ISDF, or inter-State Defence Force as a way of a rapid repellant of invaders. Bases are set up in each of the Member states
2028: Argentina attacks Bolivia. When FSAL forces come to the aid of member nation Bolivia, Brazil attacks on the unmanned northern border. Bolivia falls in a matter of months, split between Argentina and Brazil. Due to the ISDF's inability to defend itself properly, High Marshall Colivre puts in order XII of the FSAL, declaring that each district of each member state must have a militia composed of 4% of the populace (able bodied males). The FSAL begins restocking its defence force
2030: After a close election, High Marshall Colivre is replaced by High Marshall Andre Francisco Telladon.
2031: Rebel Movements flare in former Bolivia. Seeing an oppurtunity, High Marshall Telladon funds them in secret, wary of what the consequences of them being discovered means to the FSAL
2032: Rebel leaders begin to oprerate out of the borderlands of venezuela and equador.
2035: High Marshall Telladon is reelected.
2035-2050: 15 years of silence. Telladon is reelected twice, then replaced by High Marshall Simon Santiago. during this period, FSAL defence forces go into overhaul, renovating as much as possible. defences are built up along the eastern borders and many militias are established. Arms are ordered from america (older models) including the Bolivar MAV
2053: High Marshall Santiago is assassinated. by a panamanian born terrorist. it is unknown who he is affiliated with.
2053: Secratary Felipe Ramon takes Santiagos place as leader of the FSAL.
2055:As the Brazilian-Argentinian conflict rages, all the while the FSAL with America at its back, aquires better weapons and training. Ramon is reelected.
2057: Brazil loses the war. The FSAL rejoices at the sight of its former oppressor being beaten.
2060: Ramon is reelected, The Andes Line project is started. This will create a bunker line stretching down chile and part of Peru
2063: The Andes Line is completed, creating a first line of defence vs Argentina.
2065: Ramon reelected again.
2069-73: All is well In the FSAL, not much going on.
2074:Argentina once again plays the villain, launching an attack after almost 18 years of peace in South America, this time on Chile. Chile holds for some time, but requires FSAL assistance.
ISDF forces rush down to defend Chile while calling its militias to arms in the north. Ramon has a gut feeling that they wont be able to handle this too well and secretly sends to the US for help.
2075: Argentina plows through Chilean, Peruvian, and colombian armies near Puerto Mott. The militias head south.
2076: President Sean Cochrane declares America's isolation over. American forces enter Chile near Santiago to defend the capital. The 21st and 19th district militias along with the Venezuelan and Surinamian armies also enter.
Battle of Santiago: American and ISDF forces crush an Argentinean assault force trying to take the Chilean capital city, squelching the backbone of the Argentinean invasion.
2076: As American Forces Push to Beunos Aires, ISDF militias pour into former bolivia.
2077: Battle of Buenos Aires. American forces initiate a 24-hour bombing policy of the Argentinean capital, spreading into the northern Argentinean countryside and beseiging the capital. Argentina sues for peace.
Late 2077: Argetina signs peace with the FSAL. Bolivia and Paraguay are given independence again, and join the FSAL.
2080: ramon dies of cancer, He is replaced by High Marshall Muarice Quizetlanto
2080-2090: The Great Reconstruction takes place as Quizetlanto rebuilds the nation and the ISDF military. more strict orders are emplaced for militias, and more orders are placed to the US.
2095:Quizetlanto reelected, allows US to build Bases in Chile.
2100: Game Start.
