1945- Germany is crushed by the allies. Millions of German, Polish and Hungarian immigrants, engage in histories largest exodus, into the lower eastern Europe region. This region, which has been exempt from the brutal fighting, is annexed by the USSR.
1952- Bloody fighting and revolution frees, Albania, from the USSR. The Peoples Army of Albania, engages in a bloody campaign, too liberate their lingual/native brothers, from soviet occupied Europe.
1956- Bosnia and Herzegovina sign into a pct, in which each nations struggling economy is merged, along with military. The new, Free European Republic, remains socialist, but do too an influx of conservatives, adopts a free market, and restricts industrial regulation, and land ownership laws.
1959- After witnessing the success of the Free European Republic, Montenegro ceceeds from the USSR, after a mild coup, in which 3,200 were killed.
1963- The USSR sees the poor eastern European states, as a drain, and begins lessening tributary/military regulation.
1965- In an outburst of a cry for economic prosperity, Slovenia and Croatia, join the Free European Republic. The name is changed too the, UFES (Union of Free European States, under one ruler, Martin Schroder.
1967- The UFES economy booms, rivaling western counterparts. Free trade and free market work wonders, creating jobs, increasing export revenue, and pleasing citizens.
1968- The Serbian Nationalists, sick of poverty and poor living conditions, overthrow the pro-soviet regime. Months later, they enter the UFES. Martin Schroder accepts, and promises too focus on eliminating UFES national boundaries, too come together, as eastern Europeans.
1970- Hungary, divided splits. Pro Soviet, and Pro UFES. The UFES is changed too the GSE (Great States of Europe.) Borders, (with the acception of the east/west Hungarian border) are all but erased. The Slavic races mix, genetically, and linguistically. German, Russian, Creation, Albanian take over.
1972- Bulgaria, throws the bloodiest coup yet. Some 34,000 are killed. They request admission into the GSE. Name is changed too CBN (Confederation of Balkan Nations)
1974- The USSR is sick of being forced out of the Balkans. A massive Soviet "Liberation" force, of 2.3 Million, attack, along several fronts. The massive war erupts, and is a major blunder for the soviets. Due too the CBN massive buildup from economic success, and a lax in civil repression, the Soviets gain a little ground, but at the cost of 400,000 casualties.
1978- After the death of 1.3 Million soviets, and 319,000 CBN, a truce is signed. Some 500,000 soviet prisoners are kept by the CBN, as slave labor.
1979- Martin Schroder dies, the CBN party elects Reinard Heussen. Due too the Soviet armies, beaten badly, eastern Hungary is taken. Slovakia is first denied entry, due too aiding the soviets during the war, but is eventually forgiven, and admitted.
1980- The Romanian economy had all but collapsed, due too aiding the Soviets. Romania ceceeds, into the CBN. name changed too UBN (unified Balkan nations)
1980-1995-
A period of social lax, economic boom, military spending, tax lowering, and free trade. A huge growth for the UBN. War damages, all but erased from the earth. Monuments go up. A socialist system remains, but with a strong free market. Reforms made in all areas of government, yet single party system remains.
1995- Moldavia ceceeds too the UBN.
2003- The UBN, sends 2,400 soldiers, too aid the Coalition of the Willing, into Iraq.
Current-
The UBN is a military dictatorship, with a free market, massive fuel/oil reserves, as well as gold and cash. The military rivals that of soe European countries, and the populace is generally happy. However, the UBN has become fiercely aggressive, expressing some wills, of even perhaps, annexing Austria, or the Czech Republic. The UN is worried. Macedonia, which does not wish too be annexed, has reported thousands of UBN soldiers, on its borders.
