It was a normal day in Asfaltum, like all others. Sam was on his way out when he passed the dining-room entrance. "Where are you going, young man?" asked his mother (prin. Leia). "Er, out." he replied. "Where out?" was the next question. "Oh com'on, your doing it again...!" said Sams dad (Han Solo) from somewhere behind an electronically updated newspaper. "Doing WHAT again? Don't I have the right to know where my son is going. You know the proverb "better safe then sorry", yes?"
"I'm not sure if that's exactly what the proverb says, but..."
"I'm just going out to take a look att my new space-ship, okay mom?" sam interrupted, before his parents got started with another of their discussions. "What do you think is going to happen? The emperor is going to materialize out of nowhere and blow us up, yeah?" he said, just before he went out the door.

His space-ship (slightly smaller than the millenium falcon, and not as fast) was located in an old hangar which he had bought some time ago. As he pushed the button which automatically opened the main door, he realized that he had forgotten the toolbox in the other room. He turned around, walked across the hangar, and was thrown to the ground by an explosion which totally destroyed his ship. "Oh shit! I've got to warn the others." he cried, after which he burst into the next room and frantically tried to contact his parents and master Luke.

Han jumped up at the sound of the explosion and ran into the Sam as he entered the room. "What happened? Did you just blow up your ship?" Han asked.

OOC: the hangar wasn't actually that close to the house... but OK

"No, I didn't" Sam answered. Must have been a bomb. I just opened the door, went to get the toolbox and "boom!". "We must warn Luke!"

Of course, they could'nt know that Luke was involved in a fightout with two bounty-hunters...

Btw who would be RPing the bounty hunters ?

IC :

Unknown to Sam Solo and the Han Solo family , Imperial sabeoutours had silently planted a Cemtex Charge on Sam's star freighter , set to detonate when Sam was within its radius .

However by sheer luck , once again Sam Solo survived an assasination attempt . As Imperial Station #12 reported the failed attempt back to Headquarters , he felt nervous and afraid after he had failed the Emperor's commands twice . And the Emperor was not known to be a forgiving person .

The HQ Chief on duty had a set of instructions ready for Station 12's major should he fail again . He was to report back to Imperial Center and the second in command was to replace his command immediately .

The new station chief was a much shrewder and cunning man , he immediately dispatched 2 Imperial agents to track and monitor the Solo family's movements and whereabouts as well as learn their usual routines ...

All these data would come useful in the upcomming times...

OOC: I apparently forgot to write that the bounty-hunters were taking orders from the empire... which brings them under your RP, Mationbuds.

The room was sparsely furnished, and what little furniture there was, was being blown to bits by the bounty-hunters crossfire. They had entered, one from the main door and one from the back, thinking that this would be a runover. Of course, Luke (who had been eating breakfast) had felt a disturbance in the force surrounding the house and had immediately been prepared for the worst. They were now all hunting through the house, Luke trying to finish off an especially irritating hunter, while another one tried to get a shot at him from behind. What he didn't know (and probably never realized) was that 2 minutes ago, a very angry Sam Solo set out to warn Luke of the danger. Sam, who had had only time to fetch his light-sabre and gun, had become ballistic at the sight of smoke coming from Lukes' house. The poor bounty-hunter never knew what was coming, when a plasma-gun blew a hole in him the size of Texas...

The bounty-hunter caught the full brunt of the plasma bolt on his chest armor plate , blowing a big black nasty scorch mark . He immeidiately fell to the ground ,moaning in pain .

But he quickly recovered , he rolled on the ground and fired off a quick hail of lasers at Sam ...

Meanwhile the other bounty hunter pulled a concussion grenade from his waist utility bag and threw it in the direction of luke before jumping up and releasing a quick hail of steady laser bolts ...

Luke unleashed a wave of force, throwing the concussion grenade right back into the face of the bounty-hunter, while he with the other hand repelled the laser bolts with his sabre, as he threw himself behind a wall.
Meanwhile, in another room, Sam avoided the hunters shots by throwing himself to the floor, rolling, firing two plasma-bolts at his attacker and ducking through a door into another room. He then holstered his gun, activated his light-sabre, stood in the middle of the big room, concentrated in the force, and FOCUSED...

Luke unleashed a wave of force, throwing the concussion grenade right back into the face of the bounty-hunter, while he with the other hand repelled the laser bolts with his sabre, as he threw himself behind a wall.
Meanwhile, in another room, Sam avoided the hunters shots by throwing himself to the floor, rolling, firing two plasma-bolts at his attacker and ducking through a door into another room. He then holstered his gun, activated his light-sabre, stood in the middle of the big room, concentrated in the force, and FOCUSED...

His injuries were stinging his back and he needed medical aid ... fast . He turned and after looking left and right , he activate his Slave-Rigged SlaveI which promtly hovered over the house moments later .

After the encounter with the bounty-hunters, everybody gathered together in a secure (soundproof) room, where it was impossible to place bugs (since special sensor picked up any unwanted presence in the room, including bugs of any sort, mechanical or other). "What would be the wisest thing to do?" asked Leia. "Well, I have an option." answered Sam.
"Here's the plan. We go to the royal hangar, and board princess Leias flagship. It's to guarded to plant a bomb inside. Inside the ship, we change into workers clothes, split up into three groups (Leia and master Luke together, me and Dad for ourselves), and proceed to two different ships. After that, we slip into orbit unnoticed (hopefully) and proceed to a rondevu, where we can decide who will contact the rebel alliance to warn them, and who will act as a decoy..."
The last part he said as low as possible, hopefully avoiding that his mother would understand what he had in mind. "So,what do you think?" he asked.

"But what about that bounty hunter? He could be waiting for us to leave. Where would we be then?" Han asked.

IC :

The injured bounty hunter lay in the bacta tank as a med droid hovered over .

"Master Fett , how might I be of service to you ?"

"Just leave me alone , B-11B ."

"Certaintly sir ."

Deep within him his anger burned against the Solo family for sucessfully fending off him , after all they were Jedis . He had placed several of his men to monitor the Solo family's movements and whereabouts ...

"But what about that bounty hunter? He could be waiting for us to leave. Where would we be then?" Han asked.

"We would be on the royal flagship for all he knows... since it will take off at the same time we do..." Sam said. "And nobody would recognize us in our workers-clothes, when we proceed to our seperate ships..."
"Anybody have a better idea?" he concluded.
"I agree with your plan" said Luke, "but there's on little detail I would like to change; workers clothes might do fine for us, but Leia is a little more popular than the rest of us, and she would easily be recognized. I suggest the following: You and your mother will dress as bounty-hunters (I know you have a collection of suits that you try to hide from me) and will proceed to a seperate ship, while I and Han will dress in black Sith robes, and proceed to the Millenium Falcon (which is probably the most guarded ship on this planet) and "impound" it." "What do you think?"

"Sounds good, but won't some people get suspicious if we're wearing sith robes without lightsabers?" Han asked Sam.

"Oh, you can have one of mine..." said Sam. "Well, if that's all, then let's get started."
Sam packed two bounty-hunter suits and other things they might need, while the rest did some packing of their own, after which, they proceeded to let the servants carry the luggage on the way to the hangars. Once on board the royal flagship, they dressed, slipped out of the ship unnoticed and were on their way to two seperate ships in two different hangars in town. Sam was wearing his favourite suit, completely black and with all kinds of weapons and the latest features, together with a streamlined jet-pack, while his mother wore the more traditional bounty-hunter suit. Meanwhile, Han and Luke were on their way to the Millenium Falcon, dressed in Sith clothing.

Sam froze in surprise. Further up the street, a girl that Sam recognized as Stefany del Monte, was being chased by Empire soldiers. He quickly pushed his mother in a side-alley and said: "when that girl passes you, grab her and pull her inside... and tell her to be quiet. Then you follow this alley, and I'll be with you in a moment." Having said that, he fired up his jet-pack, flew over the soldiers and fired his laser-gun at them, after which he disapperared out of sight...

The stormtrooper fell facedown in agony while his comrades charged forward , returning fire with their blaster rifles and called for back-up . Several landspeeders arrived , carting the wounded man back to base .

The skies above screamed as 2 TIE Fighters dispatched from base searched the ground below ...

As the stormtroopers carefully inched forward, Sam, who was on a roof above their heads and had activated the stealth mode of his suit( making him practically invisible, like "predator"), noticed a land-speeder (http://suncrusher.turkeyland.net/~jeff/stuff/swback/endor.jpg) behind them. The driver had gotten off for a short while, to assist the injured soldier, and had left his vehicle unattended while all the troopers ran forward. What happened next, can only be described bit by bit; Sam drew his laser-gun and jumped downward, landing on the drivers-seat and at the same time shooting the driver. He then put the land-speeder into "full speed" at the same time as he fired it's cannons into the backs of the stormtroopers and one second later drove over them, disappearing into the alley.

Meanwhile, Han and Luke were approaching the two bounty-hunter that guarded their ship. "If things get out of hand, we'll kill them quickly, without much noise." Luke told Han, just before they went in. "Greetings" Luke said to the neirest hunter."We have come to take a look at the ship, have you been inside or placed any tracking devices on it?"

The TIE Fighters swooped down , firing green bolts of laser at the speeder bike ...

Meanwhile ...

The bounty hunters raised their Blaster Rifles .

"Halt . Identify yourselves and state your purpose ..."

IC :

"Hey !" a stormtrooper shouted as his fellow comrade was downed . He immediately ducked for cover and opened fire on the engine compartment of the hover bike while air support was directed .

The TIE Fighters swooped down , firing green bolts of laser at the speeder bike ...

Meanwhile ...

The bounty hunters raised their Blaster Rifles .

Sam continued to speed down the alley, swerving now and then to avoid the shots fired at him. Of course, since his suit was on "stealth mode" nobody could really see him, and so, when he jumped off the bike, nobody really noticed. The bike continued to speed forward, down the long alley, drawing the fighters after it. Later, he rejoined with Leia and Stefany and they continued to his ship. "What was that all about?" he asked Stefany. "Why were they chasing you?"

Meanwhile...
"Put your rifles away, men. That's an order!" stated Luke in a matter-of-fact tone. "We are here to go aboard this ship. Our surveilance has shown us that the Solo family has escaped from your watching eyes, and might be on their way here. If you would have been a bit more alert, we wouldn't be here. But, that doesn't matter now. The emperor has his own plan. We will board the ship and confront them on board. You're orders are to watch from a distance, and notify us when they are about to board the ship."
"Anything else you want to know?" Luke added, in a somewhat annoyed and threatning tone.

Sam continued to speed down the alley, swerving now and then to avoid the shots fired at him. Of course, since his suit was on "stealth mode" nobody could really see him, and so, when he jumped off the bike, nobody really noticed. The two bounty hunters fell to the ground and recovered from the shock of the force push when they faced the blaster rifle barrels .

One of them immediately shouted into a com-link on his belt , which was still activated .

"Code Red ."

Immediately the com-link sent a signal to Hunter Base and the Slave I which immediately started planetfall ... he appeared soon , twin blasters in hand as he opened fire on Luke and Han before diving for cover ...

The two bounty hunters fell to the ground and recovered from the shock of the force push when they faced the blaster rifle barrels .
One of them immediately shouted into a com-link on his belt , which was still activated .

IC: Han ran to the nearest turret and opened fire on the Slave I as the ship sped away from the hangar. "I wonder how Leia and Sam are doing?" he wondered, still firing.

Boba Fett activated his Jet Pack and flew into the belly of his ship , the Firespray class Gunboat and raced after the Milennium Falcon , opening fire with its front Ion cannons , disabling the Falcon's shielding as the Quad Laser Cannons opened fire , blasting away chunks of armor and other vital equipment ...

OOC: Sorry, thought you had a plan to get through without combat, didn't want to mess it up. Oh well.

IC: Han ran to the nearest turret and opened fire on the Slave I as the ship sped away from the hangar. "I wonder how Leia and Sam are doing?" he wondered, still firing.

IC :

The Slave I's powerful shields easily took the brunt of the laser bolts and swerved to dodge the remainder while he returned fire with a pair of proton torpedoes and shutter fire from the ion cannons to dramatically reduce any shields that were left ...

"This isn't going to work." Luke said. "We've got to ditch this ship and find another one." he continued, as they flew over the city, being fired at and returning fire. "I think I'm starting to be slightly annoyed with this bounty hunter!" Luke exclaimed. "Hold on!"
As they were closing in on the hangar where another of the Solo familys ships was, Luke suddenly brought the Millenium Falcon down to ground level, (making the pursuing bounty-hunter think "Ah, now I've got him" as he closely tailed Luke, continuing to fire) and then to nearly a complete halt, thus forcing the pursuing bounty-hunter to crash into the ships rear end. ("Aaargh!")

Meanwhile, Sam and Leia had arrived at the hangar. "Wow!" Leia had exclaimed, when she first looked at the ship. "That's big!" "Yeah, it's half as big as an Imperial Star-destroyer, and it has twice as much weaponry and shields." Leia looked at him suspicously. "Well, maybe not twice as much weaponry, but it sure has state-of-the-art shields and armor." It was true, Sam took great pride in his ships and would always make sure that they could withstand a direct asteroid hit... well, yes, he was also a bit paranoid...
They went on board, and started up the ship. (Or, to be more precise, Sam gave the orders, and everybody else started up the ship.)

After the encounter with the troopers, they had let Stefany go home, and she was now fast asleep in her room...

OOC: Mationbuds, that bounty-hunter of yours is getting a little into the "godmode" mood... I thought I'd bring him back to earth, so to speak... :-P

"This isn't going to work." Luke said. "We've got to ditch this ship and find another one." he continued, as they flew over the city, being fired at and returning fire. "I think I'm starting to be slightly annoyed with this bounty hunter!" Luke exclaimed. "Hold on!"
As they were closing in on the hangar where another of the Solo familys ships was, Luke suddenly brought the Millenium Falcon down to ground level, (making the pursuing bounty-hunter think "Ah, now I've got him" as he closely tailed Luke, continuing to fire) and then to nearly a complete halt, thus forcing the pursuing bounty-hunter to crash into the ships rear end. ("Aaargh!")

Meanwhile, Sam and Leia had arrived at the hangar. "Wow!" Leia had exclaimed, when she first looked at the ship. "That's big!" "Yeah, it's half as big as an Imperial Star-destroyer, and it has twice as much weaponry and shields." Leia looked at him suspicously. "Well, maybe not twice as much weaponry, but it sure has state-of-the-art shields and armor." It was true, Sam took great pride in his ships and would always make sure that they could withstand a direct asteroid hit... well, yes, he was also a bit paranoid...
They went on board, and started up the ship. (Or, to be more precise, Sam gave the orders, and everybody else started up the ship.)

After the encounter with the troopers, they had let Stefany go home, and she was now fast asleep in her room...

OOC: Mationbuds, that bounty-hunter of yours is getting a little into the "godmode" mood... I thought I'd bring him back to earth, so to speak... :-P

No doubt the Royal Flagship , which was swiftly destroyed by a hail of torpedoes and Turbolaser bolts from the Star Destroyer which quickly ripped iinto it , tearing it apart nearly instantly ..

So far the Sun Crusher and Galaxy Gun projects yielded little results and Emperor Palpatine ordered them to be halted in favour of the Death Star III project , which was nearly halfway to completion . It would soon exit the maw and the Rebel fleet would meet imminent doom ...

I don't see how they could have produced one so quickly, unless they had a backup one or something. But as long as they don't use common sense and continue to use unguarded exhaust shafts and tunnels capable of housing a small freighter leading directly to the main reactor, we should have this one fairly easily.
Also, we can't communicate with the other half of the fleet, because of the danger of our comms being monitered." The Commander looked to Leia. "Perhaps we can make the destruction of this new Death Star easier if you can find one of your old contacts and ask them to sabotage it?"

"Sorry, I wouldn't know where to start." Leia replied sadly. "Sabotage was never really an option... But if your intelligence shows that sabotage would be possible, than maybe we might be able to gather a team..."

Meanwhile, Luke was on his way to fetch Sam...

Sam sat in the captains'-chair, looking out on the vast expanse of space. Why did his Mom have to be so protective? he thought. It was a question he would have to bring up someday... of course Dad would be on his side... THAT was a relief...
"Sir, we have detected an approaching ship on our sensors." said one of the crew. "Ah, well it must be Luke coming to fetch me..." Sam thought.
"Keep me posted..." he replied. "On second thought, it might NOT be Luke." he continued to think. "Full power to shield." he ordered, just to be on the safe side...

Soon after, Sam joined the rest at the rebel fleets HQ.

James replied, "It is possible, but it will require a lot of stealth. If we do attempt it, we would probably need a lot of explosives unless we find a soft spot, like the reactor. If the reactor isn't active, we would just need someone to put some explosives on the reactor. We would only need an explosion with the power of a couple torpedoes." He stopped talking for a moment, and then said, "The hardest part would be infiltrating the facility. It would require a lot of experience."

"Yes... I agree." said Leia. Then, after a while she replied: "Maybe we should talk to the others about this."
A few moments later they were all gathered in one room, together with the military advisors, discussing the possibilities and soon coming to the conclusion that the "Deathstar" was too heavily guarded to infiltrate. All of a sudden Sam interrupted. "I say! What's so difficult about the whole thing? Someone just gets "casually" captured by the imperial forces while trying to infiltrate the deathstar, and gets thrown in jail. Once there it's just a matter of waiting for a droid to smuggle a lightsaber (and maybe a couple of bazookas) in, and BAM! you sabotage the star, seize a ship and fly away closely avoiding the blast. It's easy!"
Everybody in the room looks at him.
Finally James cleares his throat in order to say something. (hopefully)

I hereby proclaim this thread DEAD.
