American Timeline
2006: The President leads a successful attempt to allow foreign nationals that become Americans to be allowed to run for President. Doctors use microscopic machines called nanobots in a successful surgery for the first time.
2008: Arnold Schwarzenegger runs for an wins the Presidential Elections by a land slide. Ground is broken for the construction of the Transcontinental Magrail System.
2009: After 50 years of almost uninterrupted rule, Fidel Alejandro Castro Rúz dies. The expected revolutionary forces rise up against the government, taking over most of Western Cuba and sieging Havana. Peralta flees to la Isla de la Juventud, the only other Communist stronghold in Western Cuba. The U.S starts watching Cuba very closely through every means possible without causing an international incident.
2010: Iraq’s military is rebuilt to some extent, replacing now-withdrawing Coalition troops that include no American Troops. The EA-18G Growler - a modified version of the F/A-18F Super Hornet replaces the EA-6B Prowler.
2011::The U.S. completes the Star Wars satellite network of anti missile missiles as well as lasers over the Americas as protection again Nuclear Attack.
2012: Arnold Schwarzenegger is re-elected and the U.S. completes the Shield Class Space Planes designed to shoot down nuclear missiles before they can strike. The A,B & C versions of the F-35 Lightning IV; vtol strike fighter enters military service.
2013: : Shield Space Planes, B-3 Bomber and an American version of the Super Cavitating torpedo enters military service.
2014: Iran produces a serviceable nuclear weapon and successfully tests it, becoming the ninth nuclear weapon state. Israel bombs Iranian nuclear facilities in response. An angry Iran, a vengeful Lebanon, and an eager Syria, respond by declaring war on Israel, assisted by Hizbullah, Hamas, and Fatah. The U.S. warns Iran of dire consequences if Isreal is attacked with Nuclear Weapons and names them the Triad of Evil.
2016: Barank Obama is elected President. The Transcontinental Magrail System construction is completed and opened for business.
2018: Egypt and Jordan join the Iran-Syria-Lebanon alliance. Western troops pour into Israel. The US Marines Super Cavitating mini-sub called the Seadart enter military service.
2019: Musayyabi is ousted by huge riots in Algeria, led by the charismatic Malik Asad Mahmoud al-Sakhtiyani. A transitional government is formed in Algeria, led by Sakhtiyani’s Worker’s Party of Marxist Unity, a unified front of socialist parties. Troops are withdrawn from Algeria, Iraq, and Afghanistan, recognition of Israel is withdrawn, and peace is made with the Arab states and Iran.
2020: Barank Obama is re-elected, and the U.S offers Iran, Syria & the Algerian transitional government help with farming practices to stop desertification, petroleum refining practices to stop pollution of their waterways giving them adequate supplies of potable water in return for a solution for peace in the middle east. But still watches the middleast closely through every means possible without causing an international incident.
2024: The F-53 Phoenix / Mach 15 VTOL Starliner enters civialian service and the F-35 Lightning V Mach 15 VTOL Strike Fighter enters military service.
