Chellis has realized the numerous hinderences in international trade and politics, and wishes to provide somewhat of a relief to this. Therefore, it has established the Midgar Group. Residing in the Chellian of Midgar, the group is a loose version of an alliance that is meant to aid in economic and political problems of the members thereof. Any nation is free to join, as long as they meet a few requirements. The requirements being:
1. Members of the group cannot wage war against one another. If this occurs, the instigator will be kicked out of the group.
2. No using nuclear weapons, except in retaliation against other nuclear strikes.
3. Following the economic guidelines, which will be outlined later.
4. Helping the group to the best of your ability.
The economic guidelines are as follows:
1. Trade done between members of the Group will not be hindered. If there is reason not to sell to a nation in the group, take it up with the group itself, and let them decide on what is to be done.
2. Goods sold between members should be at least reduced to cost + 50% of normal profit. Meaning, selling a plane that costs $35m to build, for $50m total, would normally give $15m profit to the seller. The price would be reduced to $42.5m for a group member, giving the buyer a good deal, and still giving profit to the seller.
Now, this is a loose alliance of nations. All members will have an envoy of some kind in the Group building in Midgar, and any nation can bring up changes to the rules, the possibility of booting out a member, and pretty much anything else relating to the group. A majority vote will solve all issues, when everyone is done with their arguments.
Members will be free to come and go as they please, as long as they follow current rules. Any changes to the rules will be noted here, in both the rules above this paragraph, and in a rule changes section below this, for future changes(if any).
