This is an RP about a single squadron of the Rebel Alliance. The story will go from it's early days as a training squadron before the Battle of Yavin, and extend to the Battle of Endor (and possibly beyond that, if the RP's still around). It should be able to participate in the major battles covered in the original trilogy, except for the Battle of Yavin (I'm going to try to stick to canon as much as possible, so we can't have a full extra squadron of fighters running around).

A few rules:

1) Keep OOC chatter out of the IC thread. You should already know this.

2) I own this RP. You can defend your viewpoint on the OOC thread (and I'll listen to you, and try to keep an open mind), but my decisions are final.

3) Some of your characters will die. It has to happen sometimes, for the sake of the story. If this does happen to your character, you can make a new pilot if you wish.

4) There's something else... think, brain, think... Oh yeah, avoid two-line posting as much as possible. Be detailed and creative with your posts, and, if you make a lot of spelling and grammar errors, type your posts out in Word first.

As a sandtrooper he was transferred to Tatooine. While on Tatooine he took in part of numerous raids in which many innocent people were killed. Know that he had to do the right thing he deserted the army and joined the Rebel Alliance.

However, he began to see how corrupt and oppressive the Empire really was. So, he decided he would be better off with the Rebels. He defected while on shore leave and has just been inducted into the training squadron.

Irde' was raised to believe against the Imperial regime and the atrocities they committed, such as the Gormon Massacre, and was brought brought up with an independent and free spirit, below the observations of the tight-fisted empire. On her homeworld of Naboo, Irde' became a skilled pilot in the Naboo atmosphere, and when in space trials at local piloting programs, she quickly excelled, also becoming skilled in manipulating with technology. Deciding when she turned 19 that to fight the growing Empire, she needed to turn to the blossoming Rebellion, Irde' left Naboo, outrunning a sector Imperial fleet in a long-range starfighter to reach the rebellion. Once in with the rebels, she excelled in pilot training, and made it to squadron status.

Physical Description: 1.72 meters high, Black scaled, with red bands encircling his eyes, wrists, ankles and tail. Lizard like qualities.
Preferred Role: Strike pilot.
Background: Tiss’shar spent his early years like most Tiss’shar spend their entire life, bounty hunting in the Corporate sector, his physique and racial skills making him a fearsome combatant. His true calling was a pilot however, using his aging ARC-170 starfighter. He turned to the Rebels when a contract went wrong, finding out that an Imperial Bounty was on a innocent man, not only did he not complete the contract, but instead he warned him. This disgraced him with both the Bounty Hunter guild and his own race, renowned for finishing the contract, and their business like attitudes to all walks of life. His betrayal to the contract left him with a Imperial death mark on his head, leaving him no other choice but to side with “the other team”.

Has flown with several squadrons since, recently promoted to Captain, and handed his own training squadron, currently designated Blue Squadron.

Yeah, let me clear something up:
Under "preferred role", don't put the name of a ship, put the name of a role in a strike force. I mentioned the A-Wing, X-Wing, and Y-Wing as examples of interceptors, all-purpose fighters, and strike fighters, respectively.

I played X-wing vs Tie fighter alot and the B-wing became my pwnage craft a kamakazied the SSD and blew it up lol

V-Wing starfighter. It's essentially the predeccessor of the A-Wing, if you compare it's stats and how it looks in Ep. 3.
She nabbed it off of the Imperial grounds on Naboo and took off with it (essentially, it's an Imperial fighter).

My favorite from the new trilogy was the ARC-170. From the original, it's a tie between the Y-Wing and Interceptor.

personally i like the Phantom tie and the Tie Defender, fav ship is the strike cruiser. new tril is the 170 and ship the venator

Whoa, we haven't said anything about craft yet. This is a Rebel training squadron, resources will be limited.

For a little while, we're going to be stuck with AB's and my personal snubfighters, a mix of X- and Y-wings, a few Z-95 Headhunters for trainers, and a few outdated starfighters (eg, V-Wings or ARC-170s)

Madalorians is referring to the founders of the Alliance, Isa. Actually, though, it wasn't Antilles, it was Organa, Mothma, and Garm-Bel-Iblis (of Corellia).

Check your spelling, and this RP starts before the A-Wing is invented... In fact, the T-65 is pretty new to the alliance.

It's basically a room with several simulators (4-8). Each simulator is basically an Alliance-type cockpit mounted on brackets that simulate inertial effects.
