In a bold move today, the Government of Northford has announced the transferal of Executive control of the Northfordian Expeditionary Peacekeeping Force (NEPF) to the Peoples Republic of Hurtful Thoughts, in an effort to ensure stability is kept during the conflict with Khornate Tribes. Responding to calls of aid from the PROHT, the Government's Junior Defence Secretary to the GASN, James Grevaes, had this to say:

"This event has been long brewing for some time. In response to what are valid requests for aid, the Commonwealth sends this force forward to ensure that both Northfordian and GASN assets and interests are protected abroad.

This force will consist of 300 000 persons, of whom 50 000 are civilians, with the rest being enlisted military personell. Leading the force, is the Hurtian commander, Major Stryker, who is, in GASN military circles, considered to be the top of his class.

As it stands, a forward taskforce is being sent to the PROHT, to prepare airstrips and foundations for the bases they will operate out of. The main forceare to be prepared to leave Northford by a week tomorrow, seeing the biggest launch of ships we have ever seen. They will have all the stores, ammunition and prefabed facilities to allow them to set themselves up permanant forward bases where ever they are sent.

A small forward base will be established in the PROHT, which will be operated in a joint fashion, with Northfordian civilians and military personel working with Hurtian peoples. This will be used as a refueling point for Northfordian Strategic Aircraft, which will then be sent on to the point at which the force is being deployed.

Let it be made clear, that while the PROHT is providing tactical leadership for this operation, on a strategic level this is still a joint Northfordian-Hurtian operation. My collegue, and partner in this war on corporate facists, Major Stryker..............

Eventually the figure revealed himself to be none other than Minister of Defense General Major.

"I'm sorry that Stryker could not attend this convention, as we are currently strapped down looking for good leaders, as such, Stryker was sent into the conflict some time ago to help bolster the Hurtian division already stationed there.

I shall simply reaffirm that Stryker is very competant at controling rebellions and insergency, as some of you may have known, New Roanoke Island has been a breeding ground of hostile activities, it was from this island that he was recruited and trained, and with his leadership has succesfully put down a number of attempted revolutions both domestic and abroad, listing them all would be trivial, as many of these were stopped so quick and cold that they never made it to the media's attention, Khornate tribes for example would have been another of those operations had it not been for a certain unique cloud formation in the area, a mushroom cloud that is."

"That is no problem, no problem at all" replied Junior Defence Secretary Greaves ,"In fact, with hindsight, probably for the best, considering... we wouldn't want a commander who had not been out to see the field, would we? Besides, having a voice here so experiences as yourself is welcomed, Mr Secretary."

Equipment: (Most of this stuff has been purchased in part from DMG. Where I’ve brought RL products off him, I’ve then manufactured it myself, since RL has no ‘copyright issue’. Where I’ve purchased the DPR’s, of certain products, it means that you will have an unlimited supply of them, since you can IC-ly say you put in a logistical order. Most products there you can find on DMG’s website. As you can tell, this force is designed for long term, medium-to-low intensity, and has a large logistical arm. In terms of logistical equipment, I’m still using RL stuff (US army), and I cba to look it all up, and post statistics. As for ammo, fuel, food and other consumables, I will be airlifting them to the PROHT, at a forward base, then refuelling the planes or transferring them onto tactical transports, where they will then be redistributed to wherever they are deployed.
