***OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT DECREE***
By order of the 1st Imperial Emperor, Mr. Shaz Bot, the election process of the Pure Socialist Holy Empire was first started. Since then the Pure Socialist Holy Empire has gone through 3 different elections for the position of the Emperor.
The first election saw the beginning of the Galen Q. Leotardia administration, which set about the change the face of the Empire for years to come. From the creation of the Shazbotdom Marine Corps to the shifting of the Armed Forces to get rid of the extremely outdated Shazbotdom Army and Air Force, many changes have occured.
The second election saw the re-election of Mr. Galen Q. Leotardia and more changes to the nation. But it also saw tragedy. The blatant bombing of a military base during one of the many "Get To Know Your Military" days sponsored by the Shazbotdom Marine Corps. This caused the first major deployment of the Shazbotdom Marine Corps since it's inception. A brutal war waged on between Shazbotdom and Kahanistan until an inevitable peace treaty was signed. We also saw the creation of the Shazbodom Space Navy and the creation of several space faring ships to defend the nation more throughly.
The 3rd Imperial Election brought about the start of the George A. Loak administration. One thing that you will notice most about the third Elelction is the withdrawl of the Libertarian Party. This is due to some instability within their organization as well as them refocusing their party to gain more seats within the Parlimentary Body of the Pure Socialist Holy Empire of Shazbotdom. We wished them good luck in their endevors in the future at this time. The Democratic Party had changed their name for this Election, they are now calling themselves "Socialist Shazbot".
Now this bring us to the 4th Imperial Election, Now called the Shazbotdom National Election. The Position of Emperor is now called the Supreme Emperor. The Libertarians are still withdrawn from the election process but we will see the introduction of a 3rd "Independant" running for the position. We have also begun allowing the Shazbotdom Colonies the right to vote for the Shazbotdom National Election. This is a new procedure that was established to give everyone within the Dark Empire the right to vote in the Elections.
NOTE: The National Election has already taken place for this election. But the International Community is being asked politely to vote as their votes will be calculated in with the national votes through a complex intrainstitutional system.
ELECTION POSITIONS OF THE CANDIDATES

Libertarian – The Libertarians have withdrawn from the Shazbotdom National Election Process.
Gloria Z. Carlson (3rd Time in Election)
Socialist Shazbot – Believes in peace through negotiation. Will stop at nothing to help ensure peace through the art of negotiation. Believes that “Terrorists” are something that the Conservatives have thought up to make the common man scared for his life. Believes that the SCS Project was a waste of money for the Pure Socialist Holy Empire and will disband it if she is elected. She believes that a strong military is needed to be recognized by the International Community, but believes that the research into new ways to kill people is not needed. She says that she will disband the Shazbotdom Military Research and Development programs if she is elected to office.
Jefferson K. Smith (1st Time in Election)
Republican – Will do anything in his power to get rid of the impure bastards who have taken control of the nation. Will purge the world of anyone who is not White and of what he calls 'pure' blood. He will use the Shazbotdom Nuclear Arsenal if he wishes.
George A. Loak (Running Re-Election)
Shazbotdom First – Believes in equality for all. Will continue to provide more rights for its civilians just like he has in the past. Believes that strength is by national pride as well as a well-funded military unit.
Richard "Ricky" Harrington (3nd Time in Election)
Independent – The official political view of Mr. Harrington is that the Empire is getting too liberal and that there should be a balance between having more political and personal freedoms. He stated that he will make marriage between two males illegal but have marriage between two females legal. He has also stated that he will slaughter the Havoc and tear down the entirety of the rain forest and put up more and more coal power plants.
Amanda Bowerstone (2st Time in Election)
Independent – Believes that the political view of all the other candidates is too narrow-minded. The needs of the people should outweigh the needs of the government. Will do whatever it takes to protect the people of the Empire from any enemy that is encountered, weather it be foreign or domestic. Will ban any drugs, be it medicinal or recreational, aspirin or marijuana.
Joe R. Transtrath (1st Cime in Election)
Independant - The only thing that Mr. Transtrath has said in an official message is that he will, "Do whatever it takes to make the Empire safe."
OOC NOTE:
This will be a LONG election process. When the poll closes on the 17th of October, the election will be over. It is at that time that i will declare a winner.
