In a forgotten galaxy, outside the empires trade routs, there is a little solar system. One of it's planets, called Aurora, has a large nation by the name of Asfaltum. There is yet no sign of a jedi being on that planet, or of any sith either. But things are not what they seem. After the destruction of the emperors Deathstar and the death of the emperor, his secret apprentice took over his position as leader of the Empire. He has now been ruling for some time, and has been apparently neglecting the threat of the rebel alliance. Or so it seems. Han Solo and Princess Leia are married and live on Aurora, together with their 17 year-old son, Sam, and his teacher, Luke Skywalker. Little do they know, that the Emperor and his apprentice Darth Vonder are planning to assassinate them, and destroy the rebel forces once and for all.

:rolleyes: I know... the introduction sucks, but it'll get better once we start with the role-play...

Characters:

Luke Skywalker (me): now old, teaches Sam in the ways of the Force.

Sam Solo (me): Loves all kinds of weapons, is very efficient in handling a light-sabre. Does not want to become a jedi, is planning to become a bounty-hunter, to chase criminals and recieve lots of money from intergalactic governments... Likes to spend his mothers money on weapons, suits, and space-ships.

Han Solo (available): now father, sneaks away once and a while, to meet with old friends. Sometimes brings Sam along...

Princess Leia (available): Sams Mom, doesn't use guns any longer(yet), is active in rebel activities. Has many contacts...

Stefany del Monte (available): the girl that Sam is trying to date... smart, good-looking, has a tendency to get in trouble = perfect

The Emperor and his apprentice Darth Vonder (available, one player for both): have controll of the entire Imperial fleet...

James Delano (available): general of the rebel forces, coordinates sabotage operations, ship deployment etc etc.

This does sort of fly in the face of several huge libraries of SW Expanded Universe material

The Rebellion is no more as it is now the New Republic but the Empire is still there but now referred to as the Imperial Remnant.

Han and Leia are married and Have three kids Jaina Jacen and Anakin Solo

Luke gets married to Mara Jade.

The Emperoris dead but could be a clone emperor with the real Emperor's force spirit inside him.

During the New Jedi Order series of books several key characters die due to the Yuuzhan Vong invasion. Chewbacca on Serpindal and Anakin Solo on one of their world ships. And since you have not read any of the books several key characters from those also die.

During this whole ordeal though Luke and Mara have a son whom luke named after his mentor Ben Kenobi.

After the NJO series the New Republic collapses and is now the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances

Of course if you are one those people who are too narrow minded and think EU is bunch of sh*t then whatever.

Communistic Govts;11739284 speaks complete and utter truth, the New Jedi Order Books take place a good 30 years after Episode IV: A New Hope. and there are a good 20-40 books between the latest trilogy of Star Wars (Dark Nest) and a New Hope.

Without disturbing an already brilliant timeline, you could make this thread an alternate reality.

Dude, not what i wanted to hear- but i don't actually mind. Probably because i can't stand Anakin in the books, he's such fool, i sort of want him dead. He's a bit of an idiot in Edge of Victory I God knows what he's like in II.


Yo Spizania, thanks for that- it encourages me just that little bit more to read on. I can't wait for Rebel Stand- apparently that's the one when Coruscant is invaded. Since the Vong hate machjines and the capital of the Republic is just huge mechanical buildings...well.... the outcome is sure to be pretty grim for the Republic.

Asfaltum, i won't participate but i might just follow it just to see an alternate reality (the current one is kick arse though). But an alternate reality is the only option because there is tons of stuff to know before you make the next step after the Dark Nest Trilogy. You've also gotta take into account Kyp's Dozzen (assuming they survive the invasion), the same for Centrepoint and the Rouge Squadron. Its near impossible to write without slipping up somewhere.

coruscant gets overrun in Star By Star, and Rebel Dawn and Rebel Stand are great books, ive read most of the full fledged novels after Return of the Jedi up to the third book in the Dark Nest Trilogy
