A few miles outside the Pakistan/Afghanistan border...

"Captain, we're pulling up on the line, sir!"

The old ex-U.S jeep rattled along at an uneven 35mph, leading the convoy of five Al Khalid MBT-2000 in a scattered formation. They were the first units heading into Afghanistan, in an attempt to take it by force to prove to the world the new Bree Tonia state could prove it's worth alongside every other top military power.

''Roger that, Havildar. Lance Naik Suddush, send a report back to the command tank and tell them to be on stand-by with their cannons. This could get messy. 4th Corps, Cock, lock, and be on the watchout!''

The Captain was fairly fresh out of the military college, but had seen some conflict in a small town that had been victim to several squads of Indian troops during the recent invasion attempt.

The jeep picked up speed as the Havildar, more commonly known as Sergeant, pressed down on the rusty pedal. Just before they crossed the border, the first arm of the war was fired in the form of an 88m mortar from the Afghani's, landing just short of the jeep, causing the driver to swerve violently. The regular battle readiness started... the tanks dropped into a lower gear for higher revs and better handling, the guns started rotating and were loaded with anti-infantry HE shells, the troops riding on them and in the jeeps brought their AK-74s up to bear and started sweeping the horizon.

The first man to see the enemy stronghold was a regular private sitting on the front of the third tank in the formation. It was a medium-sized house, not an unfamiliar size to a Russian dacha, obviously very differently built due to the harsh desert conditions.

The troops braced themselves and headed right for it.
