Mysterious Weapons Project in Leafanistan (OPEN, MT)

Leafanistan

Port of Krivak

Frigates and submarines sat in the bay, an occasional destroyer sailed in and did a refit, but mostly this was the location of the Southern Leafanistani Ghost Fleet. Dozens of frigates and submarines sitting in cold storage until they were needed in time of war. The older ones like the Hu-class Frigate were being slowly dismanteled. There was nothing militarily of interest except an odd structure in the massive ship graveyard inland.

Satellite photos revealed an unusual group of identical missiles being assembled in the General Resources factory. A cursory glance would reveal them to be Atlas V rockets, but something else was going on. All the missiles were being built either in enclosed warehouses or final assembly standing up, so it only revealed a larger nosecone and an odd ribbing of at least 10,000 seperate protrusions coming from the missiles.

At the same time, a massive road was being cleared to the port where piers were extended to accomodate large ships. Known chemical weapons factories were becoming active, the town's unnecessary peoples were being evacuated to what the General Resources Corporation called Krivak II a town about 50 km away.

What was Leafanistan and General Resources doing in Krivak?

The 255070625 Navy records claim that 10 ships, 1 Nimitz, 1 Iowa, 4 Ticonderoga class cruisers, and 5 Oliver Perry class frigates were sent to pick up these large protruding weapons, leaving a diplomatic and military delegation to witness their destructive power. The test is to be viewed from an observation post about 50 Km away from Krivak, a mock city built specifically for the test a few minutes after the 255070625 ship have left Leafanistani waters.

Mock Town

Men and women of the 3rd Special Forces Battalion waited in the town, thermals would show most of them clustered together, gripping their AK-104s with 'LASER tag' equipment fitted. They had set up a good perimetre and could easily overwhelm any enemy, even if they were 10 times the size. Home field advantage.

In the distance, by the observation station, a group of LV-08 Boar Scout Cars with similar fittings, were preparing to show exactly what the missile could do. They were only a fifth the size of the 3rd and only consisted of untrained scientists. How could a bunch of lab coats defeat a group of special forces

The room was sealed and gas masks were distributed to the delegates as a
"precaution", television cameras and high powered telescopes were activated.

At 34 minutes after midnight local time, a single modified Atlas V missile launched, it penetrated the cloud cover easily and moved to nearly leave the atmosphere. The thrusters fired again the missile aimed back down, the boosters came off and stabilizing retrorockets fired. It came down toward the mock down, the top section finally disconnecting and deploying a parachute. A dramatic enterance. The special forces people were not prepared, and a platoon of them moved to get under the rocket when it lands to inspect it.

Suddenly a plume of chemicals shot out and covered the nearby spec operators. They began coughing and fell to the ground. Others attempted to assist, but the slightly pink gas took them all down. Gas masks were deployed but they seemed ineffective, the filters turned to ash and the gas seeped in.

The 'enemy' forces in the LV-08 Boars put on full Hazmat suits and armed themselves with plastic handcuffs and pistols.

Then a loud rumble roared through the town, the glass shattered nearly simultaneously, the entire area shook, and the sounds of moaning and groaning from the special operators forced the General Resources liasons to shut off the teleview.

The group of LV-08 Boars, only 1/5th the size of the formidiable 3rd Special, moved in, easily capturing them all, and bringing their entangled groaning bodies back.

A General Resources Liason turned toward the delegates, one of whom was sweating, turning red and generally looking ill, and said, "As you can see, even the most highly trained and well prepared forces Leafanistan can offer, are completely vunerable without full HAZMAT suits, I'm sure you are glad you have purchased these weapons."

A Leafanistani Colonel sat up and stormed out of the room, but not before saying, "This isn't how war is supposed to be fought, there is no honour in this!"

Another Colonel grunted and said, "Go back to your fairy tales, there has never been any honour in warfare."

The General Resources Liason laughed and turned back to the delegation, "Soon, we'll offer this in tactical versions that don't require a massive launch pad, a SCUD version is nearly done, and I'm sure you'll all be ready to purchase it when the time comes."

The remaining Colonel sat up and laughed, "With this, we'll win any conflict."

"And I'm sure you'll enjoy our newest 'kids' model", the liason said, and he held up a small doll.

The Colonel fell to the floor laughing, and he had to rip off his gas mask as he was laughing too much.

The sickest delegate, immediately vomited.

"So...uh...whatcha think?"

Our delegates are very impressed by your new weapon. One of them wrote a description of what he saw:

"It was devastating. There was an orgy of bodies, guns and glass, brought about by the surprisingly non-lethal pink fog that still managed to bring the well-trained 3rd Special Forces Battalion to its knees. It was chaos, the streets were coated with shattered glass and a sticky substance for half a mile away from the weapon itself. Men in HAZMAT suits had to come in, and in one instance a soldier latched onto one of them, attempting to rip his protective suit off. That soldier was quickly taken out, stunned by a taser, and dragged into one of several vans. One of the recovery workers suggested killing him, but the other, who had been assaulted, said 'No, where he's going, he'll suffer a far more painful fate, as the gas doesn't wear off for a few days.' It was just sickening, watching them place him in a van filled with other men, all victims of this horrible new weapon. With such a weapon in our arsenal, 255070625 will become an unstoppable force in the international community."

We request that you send us several more of these weapons, as well as several million military-grade gas-masks.

It appears your delegate forgot to mention the fact that the military grade gas masks the special forces wore were completely ineffective. We have a rubber disolving halogen to thank for that. You need a full HAZMAT suit with either an independent oxygen supply, or an air filter that is highly corrosion resistant.

We will send more, as soon as more payment arrives.

We will try to arrange a live-fire exercise.

OOC: I would suggest, via spacecraft, I wrote it specifically so 'satellites' could see it easily. The question is what do you do? You could launch a surprise invasion of the quiet port and take a look, but that risks war.

"Some kind of weapon." Came the reply from above. "What?" The sentry said looking up to his commander, which stood atop a rusted crane looking towards the sound with Binoculars. "It's some sort of weapon, I couldn't get a good view, looks like they hit those things they were building way up there." "I'll contact command, so are we possibly going to have to do something about this?" "I hope not," the commander, Kronoa said. "Even with the fact that we have a sort of treaty with the Leafs, we have no chance to overpower them." "Right then I'll contact TLA command also." The sentry replied. "Do so." Kronoa said going back to attempting to figure out what was going on.

3 MiG-31 Foxhounds roared into the night sky, they moved in at Mach 2 and coordinating with the SAM site, they armed their AA-9 'Amos' Long Range Air to Air Missiles.

Civil Defense had been alerted and the entire Port of Krivak was under lockdown. Due to the fact that General Resources was an important resource, they had the newest SAMs and the newest anti-aircraft guns, including 15 140mm ETC guns, carrying proximity FLAK shells.

The guns would take another 15 minutes, and soon many more RADAR locks appeared, then jamming, the signal frequency they just transmitted on was being jammed.

We must not allow any other nation to discover the effects of our new collaboratively designed weapon. If its military secrets were to fall into the wrong hands, it would be a large-scale humiliation of both our nations. I propose that from this point on, we refer to it as BC4EL.

We were conducting extensive tests on the BC4ELs we recieved. In once instance, we released a less concentrated version of the chemical compound onto several mice. The effect was the same as in humans. If we can correctly manipulate the effects of this gas, perhaps it can be used for argicultural purposes as well as weaponry.

As far as we are aware, Leafanistan has not been developing any new weapons. If you can provide proof of such a weapon, we would love to hear about it, as someone is obviously using Leafanistani soil as his own personal testing ground without concern for the safety of others.

As for backwater channels, we have asked the Intelligence Bureau and so far, they also have not heard of anything close to a weapons test.

We have also consulted every major weapon's manufacturer including General Resources, Katana Corp, Concordia Heavy Industrial Concern, and Aurora Manufacturing Limited and they have not conducted any weapons tests recently with the exception of General Resources.

General Resources is currently testing a series of new submachine guns for use in Civil Defense. If you wish to know, I can give you the contact numbers for the General Arms division of General Resources and arrange an export permit for guns when they complete testing.

Indian Ocean, 52 Miles southeast of Komodo

Weather, Clear

An old, modified Los Angelas class missile sub sat on the surface of the Indian Ocean, various receivers extended high into the sky. Servicemen and officers alike were sunning themselves on the deck, or checking various messages on their PDAs. The cook had actually brought a cooler and few MREs above deck and was turning the above deck activities into a social gathering.

Deep in the ops deck of the vessel, serviceman still on duty were busy with standard electronics warfare operations. The Incorporated States of Guathic, for which this ship sailed, had no spy sattelites they could call their very own, but that didn't stop the military from using the privatized US, Japanese, and European sattelites. The operation was simple, make contact with a known sattelite and pluck it's data right out of the air without anyone knowing, and if possible, hijack the sattelite's prefix commands and take some pictures that no one else will ever have.

One serviceman, who had successfully hacked a broadband spy sat flying over the 'stan's portion of the world, was eating skittles while watching the streaming picture updates. The past hour had been rather exciting, and the captain made sure to order two extra transceivers to pick up more sattelites to continually watch this.

Captain Taggert was sending a report by voice to the HQ, "Yes sir, the pictures we transmitted to you are exactly what they look like. Ensign Whotely here noticed the sub-orbital launch and was smart enough to get one of the "CIA's"," the captain chuckled in referencing the star-tech private sattelite as belonging to the CIA, the loss of private spy sattelite contracts being a great boon to tiny nations with sufficient radio technology, "Anyway, the old sattelite got a lot of good pitcures. Leafanistan seems to be pulling a "Hussein" and testing chemical weapons on it's own people. Can't be sure of anything beyond that. A spy plane seems to have violated their air-space as well, something of an arial scramble going on there. Mmhmm? Yes sir, we shall continue to monitor the situation."

Former US Marine Colonel and Chief Defense Advisor Zapata dimmed the office rooms lights, and activated the large screen and projector. Flashing on screen were the sattelite images collected by the patrol sub far in another ocean. "As you can see, Mr. Malcolm, they gassed one of their own cities. This normally wouldn't concern us and we'd just pass the info on to the UN for them to fumble for a year while hinting they want the US to fix it... but this, we are partially involved in." Anthony Malcolm, Head of State and founder of the Incorporated States was sitting in his office chair, hunched over his desk, hand digging into his forhead as he listened to yet another little world Crisis, "Ok, I'd hope we arn't involving ourselves over there for no reason. Isn't Leafanistan one of the nations we buy surplus missiles and rocketry from?" Zapata nodded, turning the lights back up once all the pictures had scrolled by, "Yes sir. I know not a single person in this parliament will currently accept such a thing happening. It's possible they developed this weapon from technology we traded them. In any case, our military have taken this opportunity to include cutting financial ties with Leafanistan as part of the recent budget cuts." Malcolm stood up, and lifted the lego jeep from his desk, giving it a few looks of appreciation before looking straight at Zapata and giving his decision on the situation, "Find out just what that weapon is, why they used it on their own city, and if we had any involvement. I am going to call the Leafanistan government and let them know we noticed their 'botched missile test', see if they require any aid."

The Central Delesa Intellegence Organization was in its first few months of operation, and was a total sucess within the government. They watched several threatening nations that might pose a threat to homeland Delesa. And it monitored by a team of 2 spacestations and 9 satilites.

Spacestation 001 CDIO
Private Harry was on duty, watching the activity on satilite numbers 001 to 003, the first 3 in the fleet. The single large screen switched every 5 minutes to the next until on reads a large explotion and the screen switchs to that feed. The job gets quite boring sometimes as not every country is mad in creating weapons of mass destruction. But there was the occations action, like watching the 2006 world cup. The satilites were powerful enough to read the articles on a newspaper, but yet not good enough to make out 100% of the fine print. Usally never. But it was quite a exellent view. Harry sat back in his chair, 3 hours into his shift. He believed if nothing happening the the first 2 hours nothing was. But he was trained and selected to sit here in space and watch TV. Meanwhile his buddy behind him had his turn with the xbox 360. Harry turned around to look at the game.

"No you moron! Go left! Left!"

"I am going left!"

"NO your other left!" With that he swung back around and caugh thte tail end of the recording from satilite 002. Men were being loaded into several military APCs. "What the hell..." harry mumbled as he rewinded the recording to catch the begining. He watched as the rocket, at this point unidentifiable, landed into a small village of some sort and a gas was ejected, men that were in the area fell down, tossing their weapons to the ground, tossing and turning, then several APCs rolled in and started to collect them, wearing somesort of suit. Then he saw as one of the stugglers attempted to grab a member from the apc and was beaten down. Harry floated to the computer to the left and typed inthe GPS coordinates and found the location . He then turned to his buddy, "Hey dumby! Turn off the game i got something here, watch it then get a hold of ground HQ and tell me so i can send the GPS and video feed." It was one in a thousand that the satilite should pick it up, but it did and it had to be something bad, for it wasnt a peace keeping action. And Delesa wanted to know.

There was knock on Prime Minister Lester Geddies door. But Lester had his head down sleeping on the desk top, with a bottle of Delesa's famous whisky in his left hand. He was drouling on the finance report from the transportation board. A lady walked in, "Sir? Sir?" she shook him lightly. Lester sprung to life as he jumped up,

"Yeah yeah! I'll send you the report tomarrow! Oh its you. It better be good, it was a sweet sweet dream." Lester started to walk over to a drawer that contained his advil.

"Well sir, there is a report here from CDIO headquarters."

"Oh another plot to take over the world? Maybe aliens have invaded the world!" Lester chuckled, he always believed that the CDIO was a bunch of space nerds, but had to aprove the program or loss office.

"I cant tell you sir, i wasnt allowed to look, but it says its important."

"Fine fine toss it here." The lady tossed to him and he caught it. He ripped it open and read it over quickly. "Hmmm" He looked at the photos. "Well looks like they found something. Now the question is, do we want to know what it is? Then i guess to we want to buy it or destroy it? Get the general on th eline inform him of the situation. Here take these and fax them to his office. If i know better hes probaly drunk on his desk as well. Well wait...wasnt he here? No that was last week. Oh shit thats right he dosent drink!" Lester laughed. "Im going to see that man drink once before he dies."

The Armed Republic of 255070625 recently had a meeting with top officials of Leafanistan's Chamber of Commerce. I have reason to believe that our meeting was held in the area in question. I must make it abundantly clear that there is no town, because the meeting was held to draw up plans for a new port, which explains the large number of ships in the area. You see, my country conducts alot of trade with Leafanistan and we both saw it in our best economic interests that my nation have a private port to conduct business in.

General Gordan Brigman sat in front of the prime minister in a large leather chair. "Well Lester, i dont believe they believed our fake letter, leading them to believe we would be interested in this. But i dont think we could afford a aggresive search of the town. But i think i have a plan."

Spacestation 001 CDIO
Harry looked at the orders sheet. He was to continue to watch the Leafanistan ports and activities. Also 255070625 has been added to the watch list.

"Christ I hope we aint making enemies."

Port Hope, Delesa
The small town in the province of normandy was the location of a naval base. One that was inside the cliff off to the north, were some of Delesa's biggest secerts were held. The large doors had opened. It would have been a sight for a fisherman, as the cliff opened up. But the bay had been blocked off for this. The fake excuse was that a oil rig had difficulties and the bay had to be locked off. But when the doors, nothing emerged from the opening, on the surface. Under the water, on of Delesa's 'secret' submarines had left its docking and was headed to the small port in Leafanistan. But not engage no one, unless fired on first. But with the special hull, it was likely no one would know they were there for a while. Well just as long as they stayed underwater, but a submarine had to come up at some point, but the submarine would leave the Leafanistan waters long before they needed then return.

Greetings Leafanistani Leaders,
You launched a missile into sub-orbit. Every nation in your region could see it with the naked eye. We saw it when we were not looking for it. We have checked with the joint SWC command and neither McKagan nor Halberdgardian Intelligence report any sightings of any missiles or rockets being launched. There are no RADAR readings, nor IR anomolies, nothing out of the ordinary.

Nothing has happened in Leafanistan, and we would like to see the proof that something happened. We are seriously concerned that a foreign intelligence operation has taken place or a rogue group has stolen a SCUD or something.

Please show us proof.

Port of Krivak

The people knew where their loyalties lay, and the fact was that nothing had happened. Everybody denied it, nothing was out of the ordinary. The evacuation was to avoid the spy plane which could have been a bomber.

Over at the General Resources plant, what appeared to be an oil rig was being assembled and any evidence of a chemical weapon's plant was being demolished. It was done at night with a massive fleet of bulldozers and trucks moving via large underground sewer tunnels and explosives. By the time it was morning, there was nothing but a large open space where it was and some oil rigs were being assembled.

Soon the town was flooded with oil workers and engineers, and the town had always been an oil town. It was never anything different.

At the same time, the ghost fleet was being activated, mostly the submarines , anti air frigates, and anti submarine frigates, and they were all leaving the bay.

Amazing, a complete coup but there are several major glaring errors.

The missile appears to be a rather blurry Atlas V, while Leafanistan uses the Long March family of rockets, so a signficant foreign intelligence operation is taking place. How anyone snuck a massive Atlas V missile, into a heavily guarded Ghost Fleet storage yard, next to a massive oil rig plant is beyond us.

Secondly, there is no launch pad to launch an Atlas V. Unlike a SCUD or a Pershing, the Atlas V requires a massive launch pad and days of preperation.

Thirdly, there are no witnesses to this event. The entire Port of Krivak witnessed nothing but a spy plane incursion into our skies. If the gigantic Atlas V landed in the middle of a medium sized city, you'd think someone would call the cops, the Navy and Marine base nearby would be all over it. Yet we have talks of just a few APCs and a tiny group of soldiers.

There are 2 Divisions of Marines, and an entire fleet in Krivak, and yet something around the size of a battalion was the only response?

Most likely, these are old missile tests from long before our first Civil War when the bay was still under Soviet Confederation control. There were a series of Bulava missile tests there long ago. The reason for the odd protrusions on the side of the missiles, are probably because this is a reconstituted ancient intelligence photograph, and the protrusions are likely artifacts from poor image manipulation.

This attempt to subvert and trick us into giving away intelligence data and allow foreign spies on our soil.

It didn't work.

The General Resources Tiberium Refineries were still running, miles away a series of SCUD launchers set themselves up. The same design, odd protrusions, and the engorged warheads painted a bright pink.

This time a group of engineers with private security forces were the guneia pigs. They purposely picked a group of mercenaries with the most experience, and mixed them with a group of normal security guards.

Again, another group of untrained scientists in a few Scout Cars waited, this time there were only 50 of them compared to the 3000 personnel in the facility.

The SCUDs launched, 3 of them into the air, another delegation of diplomats from Leafanistan and 255-etc. watched from a safe distance.

They again punctured the sky. Their gas trail left a red trail, scattering of light due to the setting sun, polluting the virgin mountain air. The private security forces put up a fight, using a Rheinmetall 20mm Autocannon, shooting down one of them SCUDs, scattering debris everywhere, but the other two landed and dispersed their pink cloud.

Again windows shattered, the ground shook, and the personnel began to cluster together. They were hiding form the inevitable, trying to seal themselves in, with gas masks. It wasn't effective, they too fell and were left as moaning, groaning messes.

The scientists moved in, and without much incident captured all 3000 personnel. The only incident was a scientist who suffered a torn suit and was turned into one of the stickily stained messes like the rest of the personnel.

OOC: The gas is a mild corrosive, normally. It is highly re-active to things like the chemical filters inside gas masks and the thin coating of moisture in the lungs. It causes severe pain, breathing trouble, and other debilitating trauma when entering the lungs, and than being passed from the lungs to the rest of the body. In 60 seconds this mild corrosive is causing severe pain as it has now touched on every nerve ending.
That's just one gas, several chemicals in real life can do that and his may be something diffrent still. Also, wether I am right or wrong, in character my intelligence has NOT gathered enough data to try to guess that much yet.

The three Las Angelas class submarines circled slowly like sharks on their orbital route with the small fleet in the Gulf. All antennae were open and tranceiving.
A Marine Transport Ship, which was a very heavily modified japanese factory ship, armed with varying defense measures against missiles, aircraft, and subs, sat in the middle of the submarine circle. It Held 4 rocket transports, prepped for launch at all times, capable of sub-orbital flight but only being able to launch a single transport every 5 minutes. Each marine was fitted in hydrualically enhanced armor and tactical systems, which nullified small arms, and provided limited protection against heavier arms while allowing them to carry what was normally considered "vehicle mounted" weaponry.

High above all this was the single, 5 man crewed air-ship, holding at Angel's 45, (45,000 ft), combining nuclear engines, VTOL, and lighter than air technologies for a single vessel to achieve supperior altitude. It carried an entire wing of Predator UAVs, as well as a collection of missiles and configurable payloads for the crew to modify for varying mission parameters.

Each Las Angelas sub had been commandeering and hijacking sattellites since the event began the other night. It was round the clock surveilance of the entire country of Leafanistan from space. The majority of the pictures were clear enough to read open books, including an open copy of Jennifer Government on one Leafanistan patio table.

As expected, the movement of missiles was being given the hairy eye, and extra sattelites were assigned to record the events upon the launch of three SCUDs. This time around, much more careful attention was being given to the effects of the chemical spread by the missiles. Body temperature, changes in movement, skin color, hair color, clothing color.
Only two servicemen had to be releived of duty from their sickened re-actions to the images. The rest were holding on well enough under the strain of such terror.

"Yes, yes wire all of this to the UN ASAP. I doubt they'll take action, but if we can get a few hearts to bleed they might support action." Anthony Malcolm was heavily strapped into the arrow-head shaped 'experimental' craft. Sure it was technically a military policy... uhg, just not even going into that right now.
"Look, I can handle this whole situation from wire, I have to solidify relations with the neighbors here in the Pacific. You, you're handling the situation just fine. Watch them like hawks, but keep your hands far away. Human testing is the worst of it right now... I want things better only, not one iota worse. Gotta go, we're making re-entry." Too many spies, we'll have to move to a new testing ground, we have colonies everywhere, but specifically in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

Eastern Eurpoean colonies have the advantage of being former Sierra Visions Inc. factories, including a chemical weapons factory left over from the Soviet Confederation based in the nearby mountains.

We'll resume testing soon, including for agricultural purposes, specifically on animals.

I'm sure we can get local farmers to surrender some animals of various types for a fair price, specifically horses because they are still used for cavalry in some places.

We've begun transporting SCUD-BC4EL missiles via An-124 Ruslans. We've transmitted coordinates. The cover-story is another classified trade agreement this time about agriculture.

We'll deploy GPS Jamming Units to blind their satellites.

See you there.

This time a group of reservists who hadn't finished military training, so they were 'civilians' in a sense, and a group of farm animals were the test subjects.

Another observation booth, but this time it was done by hardwire.

GPS jammers and Radio jammers filled the skies, the SCUD was launched, and it landed.

A few of them used HAZMAT suits, and were able to survive the initial onslaught.

But soon the scientists with their weapons were able to score 'kills' on them and they laid down as 'dead' while laughing uncontrolably at the sight before them.

It's one thing to kill the enemy, it's another to humiliate them on the battlefield and let them return to their families, embarrassed by the ordeal. The BC4EL does this and more. Our Minister of Agriculture referred to it as "A miracle, capable of ending world hunger, along with enemy resistance." As a result, 255070625 is willing to devote our entire defence budget (~$15 trillion) to the research, development, and mass production of these weapons. What's better is that it's cheaper and more effective than nuclear weapons, because of the invaluable information we can obtain from prisoners, as well as leaving the infrastructure intact (with the exception of the glass, which is shattered, increasing effectiveness).

I fear that our shipments may be under surveilance by other nations who are interested in the BC4EL. WE MUST NOT ALLOW THEM TO DISCOVER WHAT IT IS. Therefore, every ship used for transport will be rigged with explosives, so that if the ship is captured, the BC4EL will not fall into the wrong hands. This precaution is necessary to make sure that our WMFs remain a mystery to the rest of the world.

We are ready for live-combat tests.

Also, we are very interested in the SCUD-BC4ELs, for agricultural purposes. We think it may be the cure for world hunger, that's why we cannot allow the rest of the world to gain access to these weapons. WE MUST NOT ALLOW A CURE FOR WORLD HUNGER.

Zapata sighed as he read the recordings. Video of the recent tests and in Leafanistan viewed from space, and geographical markings of materials movements filled the screens around him. "Allright Commandants, reviewing what we know to be sure for now. Leafanistan, a major corporation, and a foreign interest, are sharing materials. These materials are being used to make a weapon launched from a SCUD, and all three parties must be aware of what is going on in some capacity. The weapon is delivered in gaseous form, it penetrates standard gas masks, but not level 5 containment suits. It's effect is first a minor seismic disturbance, followed by the shattering of all window glass in the area. Effects on other silicate materials is unconfirmed at this time. The way people are affected is strange, they hit the ground and barely move... and there is no change other than that. The weapon is non-lethal, than..."
"So than what's the problem!?" barked out Commandant Eckels. "Non lethal weaponry, it's a very nice change. We've been biting our nails that yet another 'Stani nation is inventing tools of genocide, and you tell us we have nothing to fear. I say we drop it now." Commandant Cothby chimed in at the end of Commandant Eckels' statement, "Let's not pull out just yet. It's still a brand new weapon capable of incapacitating small cities with little effort. One that Leafanistan is not willing to share. We have no idea why it causes the disturbances it does, or it's long term ramifications. Now, Leafanistan's efforts to jam our recently established communications taps is working. Their sattelite jamming attempts however are patchy, and with the ammount of sky cover we've 'borrowed', we maintain or 24 hour arial surveilance. But 24 hour suveilance has left us with a lot of questions... and I think we have gone just as far as we can with arial surveilance." "So just what are you suggesting?" asked Commandant DuChov, taking a sip of her tea. Zapata raised his hand and nodded to Cothby, indicating he wished to adress the question, "A ground operation by experimental 'Koga' forces has been explored for just such a situation in the past. They've proven themselves capable in past operations, as we all know, and we beleive they may be the solution to answering all of our questions here." Eckels spoke up again, "You're suggesting we send people on foreign ground, actually have a military unit operate and try and steal secrets from one of the most militarily bloated nations on the planet. I'm not going to say we can't do it, but the risk is incredible. If anyone discovers we've tread on their soil... well, it depends on what they want to do about it. I won't green this operation." "Very well, any other objections or support for this? Speak now before I make my decision." Zapata looked at all the faces in the room, locking eyes with a Commandant DuChov as she voiced her opinion...

Port of Krivak

The 'old' town was abandoned. A lot of the buildings had been demolished to make way for an oil rig construction equipment. The spec ops had surfaced onto a ghost town. Cars lay strewn around the street, filled with rounds, windows were shattered, and everywhere, the outlines of bodies, with fluids pooled under them. Every store was cleared out, a few APCs with their doors open creaked in the wind. A discarded BR-545 rifle from the police was on the ground, a round through the spring mechanism.

The signs that said the Port of Krivak were lying in a tire yard, burning, their paint peeling away into the sky as ashes.

The new port was called the Port of Krivak, and nobody would say differently.

Of course security was high around the 'new' port because it was still a ghost fleet town. A battalion of Marines was stationed there, naval security, though most of the ghost fleet had left for another reason.

General Resources was much more heavily guarded. Despite being an 'oil rig' manufacturing company, heavy corporate security ringed the complex. Guards with kevlar vests with ceramic inserts, carrying M1911s, and FN303 Non-Lethal Weapons were everywhere. They all wore gas masks with imbedded thermal sights, security camera density made the Parliament building look like a preschool.

The testing sight was patrolled by Mafia mercenaries, carrying similar armament, but driving Humvees with .50 cals, and using G36s. They were hiding something.

My company has a considerable resource pool, and we wish to join you in development of this weapon, as well as allowing you to help us develope a few weapons technologies of our own. We are willing to give full cooperation, even convert to a Leafanistan corporation. The advantages to us are quite substantial, and I know another corporation with billions in USD at your control would be appreciated."

In a dark alley within an industrial urban district of Concord, a tall, athletic man in a grey t-shirt and tiger-stripe camo pants met with members of the Leafanistan Mafia. He opened a large, black armored, showing them the payload.
"50 kilos of weaponized uranium, and I promise you my organization has much more. Here is the deal, we saw the weapon that the government here launched. It would be vital to us forming our own nation, one in which you would have a place as a supplier, and seats within our new parliament. But promises of the future are un-substantial, so let me make you a valuable offer that serves you at present first. 40 tons of uranium, 20 billion USD worth of metals, and ten Krell Mainframe computers capable of several terrabytes worth of storage capacity and RAM. If you can help us aquire the chemical that is being developed here, you can have it all."

OOC: You'll share it? Well I have to act on what I know in character... but we are not counting out diplomatic options.

Infra-red, motion detection, cameras. None of it saw a thing as the intruder's made there way to the doors and began overloading electronic locks, slicing mechanical locks, and forcing open doors. Anyone with electronically enhanced vision was blind to whoever it was, and anyone who could see them and attempted to act found themselves blinded by a burst of light, waking with memory loss of the past two hours.

The heavy electronic security was useless, and firing non-lethal weapons in the obvious directions of the intruders seemed to do nothing. By the time General Resources had locked down and was preparing electronic warfare countermeasures, the disturbance was over.[/U]

OOC: Discussed this on AIM, nearly a godmod, some of this shit.

General Resources

"Dammit, compromised security, unconcious guards, how far did they get?"

"The testing grounds and nearly to a data terminal worth mining. They only got the shadow of it and some wind analysis data. But they'll figure out what we are up to. Don't let them leave. I want every harbor locked down, every submarine nearby active. Turn on the buoys and the prototype gravimetric sensors."

"Sir, those cost 14 million dollars an hour to run."

"And?"

"Yes sir."

Within minutes, submarines were on alert, ASW frigates were online and scanning, and An-72s with prototype gravimetric sensors were flying the now unfriendly skies.

The gravimetric sensors worked by detecting fluctuations space time's curvature. Unfortunately, the Earth created a lot of interference and calibrating the devices and running them cost millions, more than $10 billion would be spent by the time the suspended antimatter matrix would run out and the gravimetric sensors died.

Outside of the Leafanistan Parliament building, a large man in a grey suit with a briefcase awaited someone to see him. He requested that he meet with member's of the Leafanistan leadership immediately, to arrange a small technology trade. Olmar McKei was his name.
"I am with Orobo-Tek, a US Based company. I have all the papers and licenses right here. I've come to discuss a weapon you've been testing with your companies, and please do not try to hide it, the whole world's seen the launches and the effects by now. And that man was laughed at. No one had heard of Orobo-Tek, it was nowhere as large as Neucom, or even DMG, and not even close to modest operations like Katana Corporation. It seemed like a joke.

In a dark alley within an industrial urban district of Concord, a tall, athletic man in a grey t-shirt and tiger-stripe camo pants met with members of the Leafanistan Mafia. He opened a large, black armored, showing them the payload.

Again laughter, when it subsided, one of the Mafia men explained.

"50 kilos of weaponized uranium is enough to reach critical mass. If you got this here without irradiating yourself to death and getting us all killed, you must be God."

The guards on the catwalks above raised their rifles.

"I think you should go, Mr. Atomics. As if we need something as pitiful as a few extra billion USD to assist us."

OOC: All 50 kilos are not clumped togethor, duh.
Your chemical is physics breaking, so what's wrong with me doing anything that still fits physics? If you had a problem with it, should have said so in IM when you had the chance... oh that's right, there is nothing wrong with what I've done so far.
You want to keep your entire genetically engineered society of super-humans and say that not a thing could ever stop you, go right ahead. Cause that's what you tried to tell me through IM.

Bye.

OOC: How did you show me all of it in one armoured box huh?

Make that clear, last guy who didn't: I got him to try to sell me 60 kilos of U-235 all clumped tightly together. Boom, boom later I was accused of godmodding.

Explain how it is physics breaking. Your whole pretty lights fuck your brain patterns up is kinda a godmode, I don't believe without evidence.

So far the only google response I get is from Uncyclopedia, which is a satire site for this kind of tinfoil hat type crazyness. So our resonance frequency missile filled with chemical weapons breaks the laws of physics but MiB neuralizers are perfectly fine?

I found tons of chemicals that were reputed to do this, but you aren't carrying dart guns.

Also, I explained last night that only 40% of people can accept it, and that was only after 2 decades was it that high, over time it will increase in proportion to the normies.

I got the vibe of passive-aggressive shit during the IM, and it clearly says MT on the thread title. No evidence of light erasing memory devices unless you are EPROM memory stick.

While the genetic engineering is pushing it and the gravimetric sensors, they are a sort of a response to some of the stuff I'm getting. It adds a bit of flavour to 'even the odds' so to speak.

Can you explain why it breaks the laws of physics?

Plzkthx <3.
