European-American Defense Consortium

Do note that this is an Earth V only StoreFront

History: As the power of the EATO alliance grew, the various defense corporations that made up the nations in the alliance realize that to compete in a global market they would need to work together. In response to that requirement, the European-American Defense Consortium was created to secure orders for the various companies that made up the alliance's military systems. The following are just some of the companies that make up the consortium- FN Herstal, GIAT Industries, IMBEL, Stork fokker, General Dynamics Santa Barbara Sistemas (GDSBS), Dutch Defence Vehicle Systems (DDVS), Avibras Aerospacial S.A., EADS (European Aeronautics Defence and Space), Hyundai, MBDA, Thales Group, Embraer, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Dassault Aviation, Korea Aerospace Industries Ltd. (KAI), NH Industries, Navantia, Royal Schelde Company, DCNS, BAE Systems plc (BAE), Saab, Bombardier Aerospace, Daewoo, Kockums, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. and Raytheon Systems Limited, UK.

Discounts:
75% off for members of the EATO alliance

NO SELL LIST:

Notes: Since, their has been confusion on who produces what. I will add next to the product which nation produces which piece of equipment. MC=Military Command and UE=United Earthlings. If, MC is next to a product that means his nation(s) produces it, so on and so on. If UE and MC is next to a product that means both nation(s) produce said product, so on and so on. A Note to my allies and potential buyers. All orders will be delayed by three days to allow those nation(s) that build said equipment to voice their objections to the sell. If, no objections are heard- I will consider the sell approved. Even, if equipment is produce only by my nation(s) I will still be waiting the three days. MC, you don't have to approval the orders, you only need to chime in when you don't want the sell to go through. So, if after three days I don't hear any objections from you, I will consider the order approved. If, you have any more questions I'll be glad to answer them.

A No Sell List has been added, my allies and friends. If, you wish to have a nation removed or added please let me know so we can discuss why that nation is there or not there.

OCC: Just a note, but the FN P90 Submachine gun is produced in Belgium while the FAMAS assaut rifle is produced in France. So, if you were going to approve the order you first have to ask my government/nation/industry. This is while I asked for your permission to create the Consortium and sell all our military equipment in one place so it wouldn't be a headache for us. So, you don't have to confirm your orders, but do check in on every order to let me know if you approve of the order. The same goes for you DP. That's why I waited a day. I am still not allowed to buy from here? Just asking because you guys are the only ones that produce any real good Helicopters.

OCC: Oh, your always allowed to buy. Just don't expect any orders of yours to be approved any time soon. You really ticked off my government when you supported Vineyard by providing him weapons and other aid. Weapons that Vineyard would of used to kill my citizens (soldiers) and Military Commands.

This is why you need to pick your friends and allies carefully. I got no problem with you being allied with the RSA. But, by supporting them you have shown your nation to maybe one day be an enemy of my Government/nation(s). At this point in time, in simple terms you are consider an enemy of my government. Though in reality the relationship between my goverment and yours is a lot more complex. I just wanted to keep it simple.

To answer your original question. Lets say the roles were reversed. A country or countries were preparing to attack you (invade your nation) and I pledge my support through whatever means to those nations preparing to attack you. Though they called off the attack, the tensions were still there. My question then is, would you sell my government/nation high tech military equipment that could potential be used against you or your allies? If, the answer is no- then how long until you would approve the sell. Answer those questions and you have your answer.

OCC: I'll approval your order the next time I'm on but, first I wanted to show you this. Remember when I said I couldn't find a single example of an airline company selling production rights to another company (country). Well I think, I just did.

Airbus CEO: China Orders 150 Planes

BEIJING - China signed an order Thursday for 150 mid-size Airbus A320 planes, the European aircraft maker's chief executive officer said.
The order was one of a number agreements signed at the start of French President Jacques Chirac's state visit to China.

Airbus CEO Louis Gallois told reporters that the ordered planes would be assembled in China and delivered between 2009 and 2012.

No monetary value was given for the order, nor were details released about which Chinese airlines would receive the planes.

But the deal represents a boost for Airbus in the fast-growing China market at a time when the company is struggling over management changes, cost-cuttings and delays to its A380 super-jumbo jet project

So that means that if you still want the A310 MRTT, I see no reason now why you couldn't aquire it. So, using information above- every A310 MRTT you plan to build you pay us what each one costs. Will allow you to build them in your nation. So, in essence you'll be aquring the Production Rights and all you have to do is pay us the amount stated that each one cost for each aircraft you build. Does that work for you?

I didn't miss it. But, thanks for the reminder. Again as I have stated, I will wait 24 hours before I confirm or deny any order thus giving the other nations in the Consortium a chance to respond if they choose. At 7:31 P.M. tonight, if I haven't heard any complaint from my fellow members I'll approve the order.

So, everyone remember that. If, it seems like I'm waiting a day on purpose. That's because I am. :D

IC: Well we would like to know the names of the officers that are going to becoming to the inspecting of my ships. We are also going to be in Toulon. We are going to require your officers to sign a non discloser contracts. We will allow your officers to tour our ships, talk to our crews and see how our ships work.

OOC: Ok then I didn't see them.

OCC: I haven't gotten that far yet, the names part anyway. Also, I'm going to start this little RP in its own thread. Got any good names you would like me to call it? I'm fresh out and as you can see I'll be busy coming up with names. :( As, soon as I figured what the crap I want to call them you know the second I do. And here's my reason IC why I don't have them.

IC: At the moment, the officers in question are still in the selection process. As soon as the officers have been selected we will inform your government. We agree to the non-disclosure contract and will impress on our officers that they sign this first and foremost. Good relations between our two governments is our highest priority. Once, the officers have been chosen they will depart Eindhoven (EHEH) Air Force Base to Toulon aboard a Dassault Falcon 900EX. Flight Number and Time of Arrival will be sent to your government upon departure.

OCC: I actually use the Leopard 2E, which is an improvement over the Leopard 2A6 as the 2E has more armor. I halved the price of all the stuff in half as I took it from my existing stocks. I have craps loads of equipment placed in bunkers throughout the Republic. This, way all I have to do is take it out of storage and you'll get it faster. At, the same time it keeps my people employed building new equipment to replace the stocks sold off. We both benefit by you getting the equipment faster and cheaper and me keeping my people employed with jobs. And without further ado your order.

SIC: Order confirmed and your total cost is $3,333,950,000. Delivery will be completed with 4-6 months.

We would like to take the rest of this time to ask you if you are interested in joining the EATO alliance. Not, only will you have allies that will come to your aid if you are attacked, but all allies in the EATO alliance get a 75% discount which makes acquiring a military cheaper on your national budget and this will allow you to purchase more equipment without encountering much opposition. Order Approved, except for the PzH 2000 Self-Propelled Howitzer[SPH]. Concerning the above mention piece of equipment, the various defense companies of the Republic don't own the production rights to the PzH 2000, but merely produce it under license from The Great Sixth Reich. The Republic would be glad to sell you some PzH 2000s from our own stocks if you so desire, but if you wish to obtain the domestic production rights you'll need to contact The Great Sixth Reich. Till then, we can loan you some of ours or sell you them outright until you are able to produce them on your own or find a another alternative. In addition, since like the PzH 2000 we don’t own the rights to the G-36 we have instead approved your order for the 750,000 units in place of their production rights.

Your payment minus the PzH 2000 SPH comes out to $5,933,750,000 USD. Delivery of the 750,000 G-36 assault rifles should be completed within three years. Indeed, adding all the new stuff you acquired alone from your conquest of Great Britain adds at least ten new items. That's not even counting the numerous others I've stumbled across. Example-Japan producing the AH-64 Apace under license.

So, I don't know when I'll get around to adding those new products in and listing the companies that produce them as I've been meaning to do that for the past few months, but one of these days I will. Note: my priority has been to finish my RP for Bangladesh and your’s for North Korea. They kill a lot of time to write up.

I have been given a requisition order by my government, which has been been approved by the military, for a number of items that we wish to purchase. These items range from the mundane to the more volatile. We will enclose the actual requistition order along with this letter, but I shall outline some of the more pressing items here.

First of all we need a replacement for the Soviet Vintage Makarov Pistol, which has been found to be lacking in stopping power against armored targers, which are becoming more and more common. We would like to produce a local variant of the Five-seveN Pistol, which has been found to be good at stopping armored opponents. In addition to this, we would like to produce the P90 locally as a PDW for tank crews and Logistics personel. It's commonality with the Five-seveN's cartridge will help ease logistics as well.

With our aging Merkava Chassis becoming more of a hazard, we are in need of a replacement for them. Although replacing them with more Merkava's would be the logical approach, the current instability in Israel and the UCR's new approach to armored warfare call for a more mobile tank. That is why we would like to purchase 1,200 Leclerc Tanks. Although we don't expect to receive a large number of them very quickly, it will give us some sense of relief. We also wish to locally produce the Boxer MRAV. It's purpose will be replace the BTRs still in service and to be used by the newly formed National Police Force to give it some firepower. We would also like to purchase 750 PzH 2000 for indirect fire support.

For the purposes of defending our shores more effectively and patroling the Black Sea, we wish to make purchase of 6 De Zeven Provinciën class frigates. These frigates are considered elite AAW Frigates and will be most useful to us. We would also like to purchase 4 P-3C Orions for the usage of Patroling these waters for enemy combatants and/or smugglers.
