Satellite Cannons

This is the Armed Republic of Satellite Cannons. :sniper:
We are proud to report our newest addition to the Anti-Anything Satellite Cannons and Blasters: The ZFT-967MSPRU (Zonary Facula Thermalised - 967 Magnetic Shaft Plasma-Reactor Unit), beta version.
Estimated firepower: Comparable to ninety-five hundred hydrogen bombs; effective range of 127 AU. :mp5:
Power source: Magnified solar energy, progenitorial uranium catalyst, compressed deuterium-hydroxonium ion compound, solar wind generators.
Fuel: Argon Xenonide (a forced combination of inert gases).
Weight: 100 gigatons.
Operation: Simple. The nuclear reactor containing the progenitorial uranium catalyst simply starts a chain of prenuclear anti-matter reductions on the deuterium in the compound, the remainder of hydroxonium is released to the fission chamber where its nucleus is split to produce tremendous amounts of energy. Secondly, the reactions that occur in the reactor core heats and ionizes the fuel (Argon Xenonide) to create a megaplasma (a term used for a plasma gas that far exceeds the normal ionizing point of ordinary charged gases). The energies emitted by the fission chamber, together with the power gathered from the solar wind generators are used to create an electric current strong enough to make the inner tungsten coil of a large electromagnet rotate inside the outer titanium coil. As the megaplasma is pumped into the electromagnetic induction-metamerism chamber, its supercharged particles attract and repel each other at the same time, creating a electrodynamic plasma equilibrium. The chamber is then filled with a stable gas (Helium 23) to seclude the megaplasma and compress it. When the blasting chamber is opened, the gas is removed quickly -- releasing the compressed electromagnetised megaplasma. Following the normal reaction of a released megaplasma, it shall explode on the chamber and find an opening to expand and stabilize itself. The only opening available is the blast chamber, through the barrel and towards the target of the cannon.

Miscellaneous Data: The ZFT-967MSPRU is still in beta phase, and we are working on the alpha project as this report is being transmitted to the world. We are hoping to increase the output of the cannon by 300% in the alpha phase.
We intend to use the cannon solely to defend our nation, and/or to destroy annoying neighbors. So long as the Armed Republic of Satellite Cannons orbits around the planet, all can rest in peace.

OOC: Welcome to NS. Please read the stickies before someone comes along and kicks you square in the balls. Thanks, and have fun.

EDIT- Also, not bad for a first post, however I'm not sure if the science behind it works. (Because I lack the knowledge to make an informed decision on that. Not saying it can't work or anything.) But just lose the smilies and check out the feasability. Welcome to NS, have some fun.

So it's an ion cannon.

Oh, and, get rid of the smileys if you want people to take you seriously, boyo.

You know, I never did read the smileys... I mean, the stickies...
