Tveyas Shipyards
The Tveyas Corporation
23-09-2006, 09:23
After the launch of the orbital shipyards, which the Tveyas Corporation holds in unclaimed space, the Corporation has decided to begin the wholesale production of ships.
Please note, that if your nation is currently unable to pay, due to the rigours of war, we are willing (provided that you can prove your government is of good character) to extend credit, with the proviso that you will pay back the entire cost at the end of your war, with a 10% interest rate per year.
Rules:
We're willing to do the math for you, provided that you trust us. If you're willing to do your own math, that's great!
We do not sell to governments who do not support the existence of corporations, or seek to hinder free trade. Your governmental style is otherwise irrelevant to us.
We do not fight. We will deliver to a chosen location, and, if your ships are attacked en route, we accept no responsibility for your laxity of duty.
Military-grade hardware will only be sold to governments in good standing with the Corporation.
Discounts:
Nations in good standing - 5%
Nations who have a good credit rating - 5%
Nations who's citizens are Tveyas Corporation employees, or host Tveyas Corporation infrastructure - 5%
Nations who pick-up goods ordered - 5%
Nations who are involved in the soon-to-be-launched Tveyas Bank - 5%
Nations who have pledged to militarily protect the Tveyas Corporation - 10%
Note that a surcharge of 10,000 credits will apply per group of ships to be delivered. This surcharge covers the cost of hiring the crew to automate the ships to the delivery point. Orders of over 1 billion credits do not have this surcharge applied.
Regarding Tveyas Credit
Keep in mind that credit will be leant on a case-by-case basis, and riskier cases will not be extended credit. Also, keep in mind that the Tveyas Customer Bank, the first in such a line of banks, is willing to accept deposits, and, if so notified, will automatically deduct the value of ships from the amount in the bank account, making it easier to pay for Tveyas ships.

The Tveyas Customer Bank is a simplistic entity. You deposit money into the bank. However, unlike normal banks, we don't give you interest. We do, however, apply a discount to money deposited in this bank - and remove all verification checks on such money, making it easy as pie to purchase ships with money in the Tveyas Customer Bank.
Note that any orders made with TC Bank money do not require clearance, give a 5% discount to the order in question, and, to ice the cake, will pay interest - of a sort. Money left within the Corporation bank will be summarily invested, and approximately half the profit from the investments will be returned to the depositer.

1.1 - Standard Freight Shuttle:
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a192/CacoRPG/StandardShuttle.jpg
"Cheap as chips", the saying goes. And with good reason. The Freight Shuttle is a skeleton of a craft, with two engines, an FTL drive (Note that all Tveyas ships are customizeable), and a main cargo section. Of course, the two engine-sections are also host to cargo holds, and the cockpit is reasonably small. The two variants of this craft are both cheap, and both are capable of carrying decent amounts of cargo.
This shuttle is seen everywhere near Tveyas space, shuttling merchandise between worlds, systems, or even continents.
Specifications:
Engines: Standard Propulsion Drives
FTL drive: Hyperspace Drive, or Drive of customer's choice.
Armament: N/A
Protection: Radiation/Meteorite Shielding, Standard Armour.
Cost:
FTL Variant: 250,000 credits
Non FTL Variant: 100,000 credits

1.1.1 - Armed Freight Shuttle
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a192/CacoRPG/StandardShuttleArmed.jpg
As above, but with three vital differences. A back-facing turret, and two forward-facing, rotatable guns. Although not very powerful, the laser turret, and the magnetic acceleration guns are enough to allow this craft to take on slightly more dangerous missions.
Specifications:
Engines: Standard Propulsion Drives
FTL drive: Hyperspace Drive, or Drive of customer's choice.
Armament: Laser Turret, Twin Magnetic Acceleration Guns.
Protection: Radiation/Meteorite Shielding, Reinforced Standard Armour.
Cost: 325,000 credits

1.1.2 - Blockade Runner Freight Shuttle
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a192/CacoRPG/StandardShuttleBlockadeRunner.jpg
Built to run blockades. It's certainly not a craft to get past a defended world's shield, and missile turrets, but, if a planet is under a blockade, this craft is certainly a good choice with which to haul cargo into it.
The Blockade Runner is a standard shuttle with a few vital differences. Firstly, it has a more accurate FTL drive, allowing it to warp in closer to a planet. Secondly, the Blockade Runner carries a 'spoofer' of radar, putting out randomly-placed waves of varying kinds, in order to avoid detection. And thirdly, the craft carries massive 'jammissiles', or missiles designed to open up, and constantly emit a jamming field, and to self-destruct, in a massive burst of jamming, when the power cell almost runs out. It also has the 'stomper' feet, allowing it to land in a variety of environments, and a pair of boosters which also serve to make the craft faster.
Although it can only carry two-thirds of the cargo, the Blockade Runner is the craft of choice in the situation of a blockade.
Specifications:
Engines: Combat Thrusters, Extra Thrusters
FTL drive: Hyperspace Drive, or Drive of customer's choice.
Armament: Spoofer Gun
Protection: Combat Shielding, Reinforced Standard Armour.
Cost: 750,000 credits
1.2 - Standard Transport Shuttle
http://i10.tinypic.com/4c3ndkm.jpg
The Standard Corporation Transport Shuttle, used to shuttle Corporation personnel between worlds if needed, and to transport minor dignitaries, as well as personal use. These shuttles are seen everywhere in nations in which the Tveyas Corporation is a member, and are remarkably efficient in shuttling people from world to world.
With four bedrooms, a mess hall, and a recreation room, the shuttle itself is fairly expansive; designed to allow maximum comfort when travelling through safe space.
Repulsorlift fields under the craft's 'wings' allow it to hover safely above the ground, before extending 'feet', in order to allow it to land easily, without fear of damaging the humans inside.
Specifications:
Engines: Standard Propulsion Drives
FTL drive: Hyperspace Drive, or Drive of customer's choice.
Armament: N/A
Protection: Radiation/Meteorite Shielding, Standard Armour.
Cost: 220,000 credits
1.2.1 - Armed Transport Shuttle
http://i10.tinypic.com/473knjr.jpg
This shuttle is virtually a carbon-copy of the above shuttle, however, with two vital differences. Two reasonably effective laser guns are mounted on the front of the shuttle, allowing it to fight off raiders occasionally, although only truly effective when the shuttles are massed.
Specifications:
Engines: Standard Propulsion Drives
FTL drive: Hyperspace Drive, or Drive of customer's choice.
Armament: Twin linked laser cannons.
Protection: Radiation/Meteorite Shielding, Standard Armour.
Cost: 300,000 credits
1.2.2 - Blockade Runner Transport Shuttle
http://i10.tinypic.com/2vbsp09.jpg
Much like the two shuttles above, the Blockade Runner sports marginally more powerful defenses, and formidable jamming devices, enough to make it hard to hit. It is generally used to get important personages off-planet under a blockade, as it's also fairly fast. The Hyperdrive it uses can move into hyperspace at twice the speed, making it easier to escape from faster sublight ships.
The two 'missiles' it sport fire off, and constantly emit large amounts of random radiation, finally exploding when their internal power cells run out. Although expensive, these often distract enemy ships.
Specifications:
Engines: Combat Thrusters
FTL drive: Hyperspace Drive, or Drive of customer's choice.
Armament: Twin 'spoofing' guns (jammers), twin jammer missiles.
Protection: Radiation/Meteorite Shielding, Standard Armour.
Price: 700,000 credits
1.3 - Luxury Shuttle
http://i10.tinypic.com/2wpnh8j.jpg
The Luxury Shuttle is a simple one, designed for sheer opulence. Some may take pleasure cruises on boats, others will take them through the depths of space. Unarmed, but almost prohibitively expensive, this ship is only twice as big as the Transport Shuttle, but far more equipped to show the passengers a good time.
With a nanomolecular assembly line in the kitchen, any meal may be ordered. Such facilities are delicate, but always give out a perfect meal, and can even duplicate certain parts of certain animals, based on DNA encoding.
A massive sealed-off 'deck' outside of the pressures of the hull, is actually sealed off using a translucent screen, allowing people to enjoy space, almost as if they were almost there. The 'viewscreen' above the ship has been built to allow viewing of almost any show in the galaxy, as well as giving co-ordinates, and visual representations of where you are travelling.
The 'shell' above the shuttle, (also the viewscreen) is a solar one, absorbing solar radiation to fuel the craft. Naturally, this is not the primary source of power, but allows the wealthy to refuel without ever having to get their hands dirty in the power cells of the ship.
The artificial gravity inside makes for a comfortable existence, and the holoroom, in which compressed air and holograms come together to make passable illusions (although this room drains th power cells prohibitively), makes this ship a joy to be upon. Naturally, such luxury does not come cheap.
Price: 12.5 million credits
1.4 -Assault Shuttle (M)
http://i9.tinypic.com/359kf1e.jpg
The Assault Shuttle is rarely used, however, when an attack needs to be made upon a world, there are few better choices. With the 'personnel cannon', it manages to deploy quickly and efficiently. Note that only powerarmored soldiers are useful within the assault shuttle, as the speed it accelerates (note that the giant screen behind the shuttle is virtually a mass of disposable thrusters, allowing it to change trajectory at will), and the two retro-thrusters allow it to slow just before it reaches the surface.
The 'personnel cannon', as it is named, shoots out personnel onto a battlefield at low speeds, firing fully powerarmored troops into battle, thus allowing said troops to enter onto the battlefield at immense speeds. A door is also in use, but the cannon allows troops to deploy all around, within mere seconds. A pair of torpedoes are included in the personnel cannon, which are often used to create a landing zone in battle.
As this shuttle is used only in invasions, generally, there is no FTL drive available.
Specifications:
Engines: Combat Thrusters, Landing Thruster Screen.
FTL drive: N/A
Armament: Twin 'personnel cannons'.
Protection: Protective forcefield, standard shield, heavy armor.
Price: 1.2 million credits
Note: Jolt ate my post, the first time round, destroying my information on shuttles past these. Since I don't have the text anymore, it might take some time before this section is constructed fully.

2.1 Standard Fighter (M)
http://i9.tinypic.com/29qcitw.jpg
"Wow. It's basically a flying gun."
The words of the Chairman, upon the unveiling of the Standard Fighter. In essence, he was correct. The Standard Fighter of the Tveyas Corporation was built to stand up to enemy ships militarily, and is thus well-armed. It lacks the advanced life-support and redundancy systems of the shuttles, and is thus considered a health risk to run - the Tveyas Corporation takes no responsibility for the destruction of this craft during, or outside, combat.
Immensely simple, this craft is often equipped with an AI module, allowing it to be used without risk for life or limb.
Specifications:
Engines: Combat Thrusters
FTL drive: N/A.
Armament: Heavy Laser Turret, Plasma Cannons.
Protection: Combat Shielding, Reinforced Standard Armour.
Cost: 1 million credits
Extras:
AI Module (+250,000 credits)
Hyperspace Drive (+250,000 credits)
2.1.1 Cloaked Standard Fighter (M)
http://i9.tinypic.com/2mph579.jpg
Much the same as the Standard Fighter, however, with one vital, major difference. The cloak. It carries the same weaponry, and, although unshielded, carries many projectors, which warp space around it, giving it the appearance of an sensor anamoly up close, and complete invisibilty (apart from gravitic detection) far away. The Cloaked Fighter is equipped with an AI module and FTL drive as normal, as such an investment is generally prized by their owners, and are thus protected well. The Fighter, of course, still retains its cockpit.
Specifications:
Engines: Combat Thrusters
FTL drive: Hyperspace Drive.
Armament: Heavy Laser Turret, Plasma Cannons.
Protection: Cloaking Device, Light Armor.
Cost: 2.5 million credits
2.2 - Escort Fighter
http://i9.tinypic.com/48xwuuv.jpg
Built to last, the Escort Fighter is a non-military fighter. Quicker, and stronger than the Standard Fighter, but with lesser firepower. Simply enough, this fighter is well-suited to guarding convoys and the like, although it won't stand up in war.
Specifications:
Engines: Combat Thrusters, long-range thrusters.
FTL drive: Hyperspace Drive.
Armament: Heavy Laser Turret
Protection: Double-layered combat shielding, heavy armor.
Cost: 1.2 million credits
2.2 Superiority Fighter (M)
http://i10.tinypic.com/2jdhpo3.jpg
The Superiority Fighter is designed for one thing - superiority against other fighters. With two shield-killing blasters, and a pair of laser cannons, it tends to be able to take down enemy fighters with ease. Naturally, it is quite risky to use in combat, being lightly armored, and is destroyed by capital ships and the like with ease.
Specifications:
Engines: Double Combat Thrusters
FTL drive: Hyperspace Drive.
Armament: EMP guns, Laser cannons.
Protection: Half-combat shielding, Light Armor.
Cost: 1.6 million credits
2.3 Anti-Capital Fighter (M)
http://i12.tinypic.com/29didk3.jpg
Anti-Capital fighters are expensive, and for good reason. A frigate's firepower, packed into a single fighter. It's hardly tough, nor is it fast. However, these fighters are often immensely useful at defeating larger ships without point-defenses.
With the 'disruptor', as it is known, which has the effect of disrupting a shield for a moment, allowing the larger munitions it wields to get past, these ships are admirably effective at crippling larger ships.
However, their expense makes them generally unused, and they are one of the least-sold ships.
Although they do not truly have the firepower of a frigate, they are seen to be outdated by many, and are a 'specialist' ship, a ship designed for certain situations. Since they are not as adaptable as the others, they are often seen as useless - until such situations as their specialised skills come into use.
Specifications:
Engines: Double Combat Thrusters
FTL drive: Hyperspace Drive.
Armament: Disruptor array, twin laser cannons, twin torpedo tubes
Protection: Combat shielding, Light Armor.
Cost: 21.6 million credits

The Galactic Empire of Mationbuds warns the Tyevas Corporation to cease all such business hostilities lest be boycotted by us and anyone who trades with you shall also be boycotted .
Business hostilities? Our rules, which are perfectly legal in every nation-state in which we are hosted, are as follows:
We do not sell to governments who do not support the existence of corporations, or seek to hinder free trade. Your governmental style is otherwise irrelevant to us.
We are unsure of what your stance on corporations is, but something about the recent conduct of your Empire, which we have taken the liberty of investigating, shows that you support massive fleets with which to invade other nations, apparently run your nation on the whim of a tyrant, and, as such, must support an army/navy of this size from somewhere. Logic tells us that only prohibitive taxes can support such a thing, and, as such, you no doubt tax trade most highly.
Note that your boycott is irrelevent. We ship to trillions of private citizens as it is - all over the universe, there are many who gobble up our products as fast as we churn them out. True, they may not government-sanctioned, but do not make the mistake of thinking we rely on your little empire to keep our shipyards hammering out new ships each day of the year.
As of now all Imperial Military storefronts are officially closed to you and your associates .
"Hahahahaha!". The Chairman laughed, and collapsed onto the floor in a writhing heap. "Wow. Apparently they... *giggle*, lost something in *snort*, translation. Bwahaahahah!". He spoke, this time somewhat more calmly. "Dolz. Please explain to me, in the simplest form you can."
The AI's solemn tones rang out, and Santano waited, sniggering as he did so. "Chairman. Simply enough, we are a corporation, and, as such, are generally not empowered to purchase such hardware from military storefronts. We construct our more dangerous weaponry and deadlier ships in Tveyas-claimed systems, under the name of a falsified nation-state, in order to quell fears. We do not, and never have purchased weaponry or ships from another nation, geared as we are to sell all but 0.5% of the ships we construct. This amuses you because of the stupidity displayed here, and you believe, most probably rightly, that, due to the imperialistic nature of this Empire, their leaders are dribbling fools with little intellectual capacity."
Santano grinned. "That's right. Don't bother replying any further. It's not like they could read it in any case."
The Tveyas Corporation

Note that we have presently finished the production of our first line of fighters and shuttles, which are presently available for sale. We are currently only shipping civilian vessels to civilian entities, however, we have well-prepared to ship vessels to any nation-state of good repute.
We have begun the production of the PRXN-99 Athenic Gunships, or "Standard Gunships", as they are known less formally. We are currently adjusting the price to suit production prices, depending on the reliability and use of the manufacturing infrastructure we are refitting for our use in various areas.
Note that, despite our current changing gunship price, any order made will be charged at the price of that time - or, if the price has gone down since then, the lower price.
