Newly-elected Shalrirorchian President Shanu Aeri spoke to a joint session of Congress today about the unfolding conflict between the Corporate Alliance and the Tocrowkian-led forces today, but the target of her speech was clearly the GASN.

"Shalrirorchia perceives this conflict as a symptom of a wider, more crippling disease." Aeri stated. "Tocrowkia's actions have destabilized the economies and governments of the world."

Indeed, the United States of Shalrirorchia is feeling the pinch economically. Although not a part of any alliance itself, Shalrirorchia's C.A. futures are down sharply, and investments related to businesses in the Alliance are tanking. A major avenue of U.S.S. foreign investment is collapsing.

"Tocrowkia's actions were launched without any direct provocation on the part of the Alliance." Aeri. "Regardless of the Alliance's behavior, any wide censure against them should have come from the United Nations, not from a band of vigilante nations. Shalrirorchia calls on the GASN to use its' influence to restore order. Shalrirorchia stands united with GASN when the cause is peace and justice." Aeri commented during her speech.

Chairman Aszenmil, though not doing an official comment, was heard saying:
-"Suck it, Im in war with the CA, they asked for it!"

The Dark Empire of Shazbotdom will not order around a member nation of an alliance that we are a part of. If this conflict is hurting your economy then you should probably find other trade partners so equal out the differential so your nation does not go into a recession. We do not feel that our Military Might nor our Diplomatic Corps should be used to help another nations economy. Thank you for your time.

If you look closely at the Global Alliance of Soverign Nations' charter, you will note that the alliance is a defensive pact only. In no way are we obligated to step into other member's nations affairs internally or externally, unless they are taking action in the name of The alliance, in which case, unless sanctioned by the Governing council and/or the Military commander, the other member nations of the alliance have no obligation to step in to stop any conflict other member nations may be in.

With that said, it might help if you also look at the Corporate Alliance's charter. It heavily implies that their whole purpose is to cause The Global Alliance of Soverign nations harm. In our world today, only a small percentage of nations belong to the UN, and there is really no international governing body, for better or worse. With that lack of a governing body, each nation must take whatever measures necessary to defend itself and it's allies. To the point of saving the nations of the Corporate alliance. They were the ones that started the conflicts, both by invading New Ausha and The World Soviet Party, with New Ausha a GASN member, and The World Soviet Party a pending member.

The Corporate Alliance will forever be an annoyance to any nation that ever joins GASN, and as such, several members are taking steps to make sure that they will never be a problem again. If you want conflict to stop, tell them to come to us and beg on their knees for mercy, but remember this, they are the ones to blame, with imperialistic and harmful intentions. They have what is coming to them, and have had it coming for a while.

While we apologize for any economic inconvenience you face as a result of this conflict, we are suspicious of your motives for wanting to end this conflict, President Aeri.

Upon the heels of an alliance finally forming to put an end to all of CA's evils, why must your nation insist we end our cause before it has even begun? We are doing nothing but saving the world from the evils of radical capitalism. We wonder, President Aeri, what is the nature of your and Shalrirorchia's relationship with the CA?

Until you admit to your less-than cleanly ties to the bastards within CA, or prove your innocence, we will continue to ignore you. We also state that we will not stop until CA has been annihilated from the face of the Earth, and justice has come to the leaders of those Corporations.

(Kinda like "There is no God" in American public schools)

Funny, for two reasons:

The CA is a Corprate Alliance, not involving nations or their soveriegnty
The CA declared war on GASN upon founding, therefore (I'm pretty sure I'm right when saying this) the GASN really doesn't care about what happens to the CA so long as it goes down and stays there.
