The large city of Seaside Grove was far from prepared for what was about to happen. The bustling city was running smoothly as usual; hundreds of thousands took to the streets headed for work, hundreds of thousands more cars packed the streets of the city of 44 million residents.

The sky was a dark purple as the sun began to reveal itself from beneath the pacific. It seemed like the perfect day to go to the beach. Several people, mostly children, were already on the beach playing in the sand, enjoying the beautiful weather, the palm trees waving slightly in the breeze.

But suddenly several explosions could be heard. A reported 19 explosions took place in and around the financial district. A total of 19,407 confirmed deaths, with 21,138 injured. All suicide bombers.

province: Northern Maraque
city: Northern Maraque-Vorencia (Super City)

Imperial Street was in complete chaos as 25 masked gunmen made their way through the capital city and shot at anything in their sight. No more than 30 seconds after the first gunshot the Imperial Palace and the Imperial Congress buildings were locked down. The lockdowns didn't seem to do anything as several masked gunmen unknowingly had infiltrated both buildings - something that seemed impossible considering the vast security in and around the capital.

The gunmen in the House of the Imperial Congress had taken complete control of the building. All members of Congress had died when explosions in all three chambers were heard. The offices of the many Royal Family members also had similiar fates - but thankfully they had been evacuated and taken to a secret and secure location.

Then suddenly a further 39 explosions took place just a block away on Embassy Avenue. Most of the foreign embassies on the street were targeted or damaged. Then when you thought it couldn't get any worse, a line of 40 vehicles exploded one after another in a row of enormous explosions along Embassy Avenue and Imperial Street.

In the second wave, a total of 14,189 were killed and 17,817 injured.

At approximately 7:28am, shortly after word of the attacks on Seaside Grove and Northern Maraque-Vorencia spread, the mayor of Addeisian declared a state of emergency and security all across the city was increased. The terrorists had expected this, hence why they decided to do something no one would ever expect.

A series of 7,000 large explosions rocked one of the most well known office buildings in the entire empire - Addeis Tower, standing at 3,700ft was the tallest office complex in the empire. The explosion were planted in all 7,000 of the bathrooms in the giant structure, and would eventually be what took it down.

Fortunately the explosions didn't prevent anyone from escaping and most of the 840,000 people inside made it out alive. In all, 157,972 people died and 5,189 were injured.

Official Statement from the Emperor of the Secular Empire:

My fellow Maraqueans. Today we mourn the death of our fellow countrymen and women who fell victim to a baseless, senseless and most hainous attack upon our country. I know there are many questions that you have that have yet to be answered, and I will do everything in my power to get those questions answered. But for now, I ask that everyone please remain calm and try your hardest to go back to your normal routine, as doing so will prove to these spineless pigs that we are a strong nation, one that does not hide from terror.

At approximately 7:12am, a string of 19 suicide bombers struck the capital of Hythoria - one of our most cultured and faithful cities. During this attack, the people responsible took more than 19,000 innocent lives with them, including young children. This vile act of terror will not go unpunished however, because our intelligence agency has many leads that will help us discover who did this.

Then, at 7:18am, 25 armed masked gunmen stormed the streets of Northern Maraque-Vorencia and shot at random innocent civilians for no apparent reason other than to cause terror and chaos. Then soon after that, a group of more masked gunmen infiltrated both the House of the Imperial Congress and the Imperial Palace, promptly killing all Congress members with a set of three explosions in the chambers that they were locked inside of.

And then on Imperial Street and Embassy Avenue, a string of 39 suicide bombers detonated themselves in front of various foreign embassies, just moments before a line of 40 vehicles exploded one after another, killing more innocent people.

In their last and final attack, 7,000 explosive devices went off in the tallest office building in the empire, the Addeis Tower, which eventually took it down, but fortunately most were able to escape before it did.

I ask the Maraquean people, to please send your condolences for those 193,600 and more who died and the more than 44,100 who were left injured.

"You're mission is simple." said Mr X, lighting a cigarr. "Infiltrate the terrorist group that carried out these attacks, locate the leaders, eliminate them and their nearest men. If you have some time left, as you always end up having, you can blow up some weapon arsenals, as you always end up doing. One other thing. You will be cooperating with a Maraquean agent named... Jackie Chen, I think. You're captain will fill you in on the details. Dismissed!"

We also mobilise our Royal Air Force with imediate effect to your region to help track the terrorists down. We can also help establish a blockade around your nation if you wish to prevent further intrustions aswell as the terrorists escaping. We also begin getting together our Enginear Corps. to asist in the rebuilding process.

Their muscles don't deteriorate from inactivity, though strenous activity still grows it, and a single pound of their muscles is like 10 pounds of ordinary human muscles. Their average IQ 280, and average reaction time is 0.01 seconds.

However they aren't perfect, they still make mistakes. So they still take some losses, just not likely many.)

OOC: This is true, but they are limited in use. Drahks are largely isolationist, and will only attack either civilian slaying terrorists or people who attack their own nation. They believe that diplomatic affairs are a pandora's box for war. Also, due to living under a sky platform there is no airforce, only an army(although AA batteries are more than up to snuff).

IC: We only temporarily ally with nations who's innocent civilians are being slayed by terrorists. If this is not the case with you at the current time the answer is no.

The Maraquean agent famously known as Jackie Chen waited in the shadows of one of the least recognized airports in the country - in fact, no Maraquean citizen even knew the location... just that it existed somewhere, some how.

He patiently waited for the arrival of the team from Asfaltum to arrive, so these scumbags could be brought to justice, and a bit of asskickin' in the process.

The Maraquean agent famously known as Jackie Chen waited in the shadows of one of the least recognized airports in the country - in fact, no Maraquean citizen even knew the location... just that it existed somewhere, some how.

He patiently waited for the arrival of the team from Asfaltum to arrive, so these scumbags could be brought to justice, and a bit of asskickin' in the process.

Arnold Schwarz stepped slowly off the plane, together with his two team-mates, intently scanning the surroundings. He spotted a man waiting in the shadow of a nearby hangar, touched his sunglasses bringing them into "zoom mode", and scrutinized the face of the waiting person. Comparing it in his memory, to a photo that he had previously seen, he knew this was the famous agent Jackie Chen, his maraquean equivalent when it came to blowing up buildings and hurting bad people. Sir, my people have reported men with bombs strapped on their chests. They were caught as they were about to to detonate themselves in crowded areas. The exact details are rather vague as described to me but we managed to capture them and bring back where they are subject to things the average person deems not very nice. The thing is, there were a couple who got away but I have ordered the ones who saw them to give you a detailed sketch on them. Perhaps it's time for this Jackie Chen fellow to show what he's made of.

We will also be on the lookout for these men and others. Interestingly, our "who wants to be an immigrant" show, which no one has yet to survive, has featured a few lately who look similar to these terrorists. It may be nothing, but for the time being I would advise other nations in this alliance to be on their gaurd just in case.

Arnold Schwarz stepped slowly off the plane, together with his two team-mates, intently scanning the surroundings. He spotted a man waiting in the shadow of a nearby hangar, touched his sunglasses bringing them into "zoom mode", and scrutinized the face of the waiting person. Comparing it in his memory, to a photo that he had previously seen, he knew this was the famous agent Jackie Chen, his maraquean equivalent when it came to blowing up buildings and hurting bad people. And on that note, the convey started to depart through the gates and through a sparsely populated woodland area that looked like it was in the middle of the forest, then suddenly what seemed to come out of no where a enormous city could be seen in the distance, disappearing in large amounts of smog in both directions as far as the human eye could see.

The sign, "Welcome to Maraque City" was old and battered by the weather, but was still standing in the same place it has been for over 650 years.

They made their way through the gridlocked traffic and came up upon a large building that appeared to be made solely out of glass and a shiny chrome like metal. They entered the underground parking garage where it was sealed tightly behind them.

Once inside they made their way inside and up various sets of stairs before entering a gigantic hall of marble and gold surrounded by security guards that look like they came straight out of Star Wars. A few of these guards followed them as they made their way towards the private elevator and up to the 491th floor where they entered a room with a vault-like door and there stood the stately sophisticated man who would be the Intelligence Commander.

After the meeting, the agents from Asfaltum were taken to their new living quarters which were on the 120th floor of that same building. The meeting could be summed up like this: the terrorist headquarters had been located, but there was one small problem. The terrorists had aquired a crude atomic device, which they had planted in a cityblock that had a hospital, school, ploice-station and WATERSUPPLY. The location of the device was known, but the required code, to deactivate it, was not. Therefore, it was not an option to just blow the terrorist headquarters up, but they had to infiltrate it, get the password, and only then, "take care of the leaders". The plan was simple: a weapons shipment was going to take place on a certain harbour location. Two agent would hide inside the cargo, and thus be transported into the terrorist HQ unnoticed. After that, they would proceed to the room in which the code was stored, and after having communicated it to other agents that were located at the nuclear device, they would "take out" all resistance.

My people are rather experienced with atomic devices and immune to radiation, they've actually found other devices like that one and deactivated them. This next one should be no trouble. Mayhaps you should tell me where it is located?

Thus they have the illusion of being immune yet are merely resistant. Arnold Schwarz was also slightly optimistic about the mission he was preparing himself for. He had been through much tuffer things than this...

This was his gear:
Full body armor, on top of which he was wearing a large khaki shirt and large white pants
Sunglasses, specially made, with zoom capabilities etc. ... could withstand a direct bullet hit
Two specially designed guns*, with armor pearcing and explosive rounds +silencer
Two extra guns attached to his arms, could be quickly released, had armor pearcing rounds
One large commando knife
Two concealed smaller knives, one on each leg
4 small explosives, used to "open" doors
Two small, highly explosive mines with movement sensors, could practically be attached anywhere
He also had a gym bag which contained an automatic weapon that also had a grenade-launcher, +ammunition

*the guns' sights had tiny cameras which were connected to his sunglasses, enabling him to stick his gun around a corner and eliminate resistance without having to show himself.

Jackie Chens equipment was quite simple:

A custom tailored top quality Armani suit. Grey top with grey slacks, black shoes and a gold tie with a white dress shirt behind. It just apppeared to be a normal top-notch expensive suit, but underneath lay a feather-light yet extremely strong material acting as full body armor that protected every inch of his body from neck to toe.

As for weapons and gadgets:

Jackie Chen had heat sensing/night vision glasses which had the ability to also see through walls. These, yet again appeared to just be your average designer shades. In a small breast pocket inside his suit he had several nearly microscopic gadgets; a spider camera, explosives, and biochemical stickie grenades.

For his primary weapon, he held a simple pistol with a silencer, and for a secondary weapon a laptop computer that made itself into a semi automatic rifle from the click of a button.

OOC: He's just that cool, he has to use a pistol as his primary. ;)

A black flag flutters in the background, a montage of masked men marching through tires wielding BR-545s and shooting targets and killing imaginary soldiers in an exercise. It then cuts to black. Then a masked man appears surrounded by men carrying AR-550s.

The containers were loaded onto a cargo ship. And the smuggler tapped them as he walked by with a few guards. He grumbled. He walked toward the bridge, the guards locking the cargo hold and approached the captain.

"These are too obvious, what if Coast Guard boat stops us again? What if we get shelled like on the Hydrofoil? What is the most unpleasent thing you have on that port?"

"Uh...nuclear waste sir."

"Ah, my favorite. Load the nuclear waste all around these crates, and get some HAZMAT suits for the crew. There are a few in a crate in Warehouse 9, no customs official would ever check nuclear waste to ensure its contents are real. They'll run a Geiger counter around these containers, and I'm sure Global Jihad won't care."

"Sir, those weapons will be highly irradiated."

"Most of these weapons are plastic, they won't become isotopic, and whatever little steel there is in there will turn, and Global Jihadists don't exactly have a lifespan exceeding 20 years for the cancers to appear."

Just get a few in HAZMATs with pistols to watch the loading process, ensure the weapons are in the center, or the rear, make them extremely hard to get to incase God himself comes down to search it. In the mean time, I want heavy security around this ship, the NW-590 is in this shipment too and we can't afford to get that found out. After it is loaded, no one would want to come down here, and anyone who did would be dead, very dead, blood poisoning comes quickly."

Forklifts seemed to fly with men in suits with dosimetres dropping load after load of Nuclear waste into the cargo hold. It was a hurried operation, they had to move fast to meet their scheduled leave time. They could delay an hour and not arouse suspicion, any longer the custom's manager would come down for a peek. The reason nuclear waste was chosen was that Global Jihad was being shipped an NW-590 tactical nuclear warhead with a maximum yield of 15 kilotons. Easier to hide.

They were complete, they locked the hold, told the guards to man full battlestations and sailed from port 58 minutes late.

A Coast Guard ship approached, prepared to do a search.

"What do you have on board here today?"

"Nuclear waste for dumping in the Algeristani Mine Hold."

"Hmmm...get the counters, run them over the door. We better hope when they get back, our counters read a positive. If they don't, well, we'll have to have a little talk back on board."

The click-click-click of Geiger counters went off, sounding like a Gatling Gun, the guardsmen flinched and ran back to the boat with the custom's officials. They slammed down iodine pills for their short term exposure, and the captain and crew did so also.

OOC: Nuclear waste along with garbage is a common shipping tactic of mine, with Leafanistan powered primarily by nuclear reactors, nuclear waste shipments to secure facilities are common.

Of course, the two agents were already aware of this, and the boxes that they were shipped in, were fitted with extra protective material, thus leaving them uneffected from the radioactive waste. Their clothes were also effective against radiation, and together with the "vaccinations" that they recieved before entering the mission, all effects of exposure were taken care of. Arnold Schwarz comfortably kept reading the book that he ha brought with him, as for Jackie Chen...

Jackie Chen was feeling a bit uncomfortable being in that small cramped cargo container for so long, even a little dehydrated, but he was trained in such situations to disregard his feelings and take it as to not ruin a potential mission accomplishment. He continued to fiddle around with his gadgets like a small child who didn't know better, nearly catching himself on fire and almost ruining their cover.

The terrorists swiflty unloaded the cargo containers, not knowing that it contained two secret agents. After one hour, Arnold Schwarz silently came out of his container, located the door wich led into the HQ, and waited for Jackie Chen. His special X-ray/thermo sunglasses told him that they would have to deal with the two guards that were standing at the other side of the door. But first he had to wait for Jackie Chen, no-matter how trigger-itchy his hands were getting.

The container Jackie Chen was in burst into a loud (yet eerily quiet) flame, and out came Jackie from the large cloud of smoke.

He took a moment to look at his surroundings before taking out his pistol.

"Lets go," he said, and with that he started towards the door...

"Ok," Arnold said. "My sunglasses tell me that this wall is quite thin. It's just a matter of pointing the gun at the right point and we'll shoot the guards at the other side... Ready?! Three, two, one..." The silencers let off a low sound...

... The sound of two bodies hitting the ground could be heard.

They made there way through the door, which led into a hallway that went in two directions.

"I'll take the left corridor, you go right," Jackie Chen said.

And with that, he made his way slowly down to the end of the hallway and came upon two men standing guard at a double-door. Jackie Chen revealed himself to the guards, at which point they were just about to shoot when they fell to the ground for no apparent reason.

"MicroShock Grenades, gotta love 'em," Jackie Chen said to himself while proceeding through the double door, meeting Arnold Schwarz on the other side...

OOC: Basically just go the other way and RP what you want to happen then go through the doors on the other side of the room and we'll figure out what's inside from there.

Arnold walked down the corridor, turned a corner, and found himself face to face with two guards. He swiftly shot both of them in the head, before they even realized what was happening. He then walked through the door, glanced left and right, noting that he was in a large hall with two stairs leading upward (where the codes were stored) and one leading downward. A muffled noise of two bodies hitting the ground was heard, and Jackie walked in from an opposite door, with a slightly amused expression over his face. "Well, one staircase for each?" Arnold asked, feeling generous.

Jackie Chen quickly drew his pistol, but then just as quickly realized it was only Arnold Schwarz.

"I'll take the downward staircase. If you find anything send the signal to my ear piece and I'll find my way to your location." And, with that, Jackie descended down the staircase.

Jackie made his way slowly down the staircase, gun drawn at the ready, what he saw when he reached the bottom surprised him quite a bit; it appeared as though the lower level was used as a torture chamber. There were bodies of innocent civilians sprawled all over the floor, including young children. Jackie recognized some of them as the civilians that had gone missing during the ambush upon the capital during the attack.

"No one kills my countrymen and gets away with it on my watch..." Jackie Chen said rather angrily.

He continued through the small hallway littered with decomposing bodies, and then came upon a door. Jackie put on his sunglasses and learned that there were eight armed individuals behind the door, and that it was locked. No problem...

Jackie placed ten or so MicroShock Grenades inside the keyhole, each exploding with a loud bang. Jackie then pushed in the door and lunged inside, shooting each right between the eyes before he landed. He quickly turned around and shot the man that had just run through the door he came in from, and signaled Arnold Schwarz.

"There are decomposing bodies all over the place down here, including the twelve woman and children that were kidnapped off the streets earlier today, they appear to be dead, but I'm not sure. Signal for a medical team to get in here ASAP when we finish. I also found a heavily guarded - or used to be at least - room that has a computer inside. I'm going to search and see what I can find. Requesting update on you. Chen out."

Jackie took a seat and looked at the computer. Jackie wasn't surprised that he found a document with information on future attacks, including the one they were in the process of foiling right now. He downloaded the documents on a mini hard drive and left the room.

He continued walking down the hallway, the stench of dead bodies getting to him. Just when he was getting disappointed about not finding anymore terrorists, he heard voices coming closer from behind and in front of him. The voices came up upon each other, but Jackie was gone.

"Sound the alarm! We've been infiltrated!" shouted one of the guards when he went inside the room Jackie had just left. Four men ran down the hallway, each promptly being eliminated one by one from the MicroExposives that were planted on their heads when they walked below Jackie Chen who had been hanging from a dark corner of the ceiling.

The other four guards ran out when they heard the explosives go off, but also were promptly eliminated when the laptop that lay on the floor shot multiple rounds into their chests...

... I'll post on Friday... gotta go now, and won't be here tomorrow... save the action for me :-)

The reply came almost immediately:
"Sorry for those poor souls, I have requested medical team... up here it's crawling with terrorists, or was, at least. If you take the other staircase up, we'll converge on the "vault room", where the code is stored. Schwarz out."
He swiftly shot one terrorist in the back, and then emerged into the korridor just outside the "vault room". He heard steps closing in, and swiftly threw himself back into the room. He heard the steps stop outside the "vault room" and the sound of keys. "Maybe this is going to be even easier than I thought" he said to himself, sticking his gun around the corner and aiming at the two terrorists, thanks to the cameras mounted on his gun that were connected to his sunglasses.

"I'll be up..." he paused slightly, with a smile "momentarily..."

Jackie Chen rushed towards a window, promptly breaking through it and began falling, then he turned his body around so his back was facing the ground, and fired a shot into the air, but a metal wire was attached to the end and it attached to the window sill of the floor above his. He then quickly shot another round towards another window sill at a building across the street and walked the metal wire like a tight rope.

He broke through the window, climbed in, walked down a hall or two, and then made his way into the corrider outside of the vault room.

"Schwarz where the hell are ya?" he said aloud, not worried about anyone else hearing him.

The voice of Jackie made the two terrorists spin around, away from Schwarz, who immediateley shot them in the back and retrieved their keys. "I'm here, you blindfolded mule." Schwarz answered joking. "Right, so, let's get the code... I'm in a hurry to get the silencers off my guns and start some real shooting... here are the keys, hurry up, I'll guard the door..."

Chen took the keys and proceeded to the door. But, just when he put the keys in, the door swung open from the other side, and four armed men pushed Chen and he fell to the floor.

"You are going to wish you never did that..." Chen thought to himself. They didn't realize Chen was the only one behind the door, and were now facing Schwarz with a gun pointed at them.

The slight distraction let Chen get up and stab one in the back, while snapping the neck of the 2nd.

Schwarz quickly eliminated the other two...
"C'mon, lets hurry up..." he told Chen.

"Patients is a virtue..."

Putting away his pistol, he took out the laptop once more and it transformed into a semi-automatic rifle. "It's time to get serious." Chen said.

Walking through the door, they entered what looked like a sound proof room, lined with computers and keypads on a master control panel.

"There's an invisible laser right behind you, by the way." Chen said.

"Alright. It looks here like it's a four-step combination to get the code, first a retina scanner, then a finger print scanner, voice recognition and then finally a 75 digit password. No one said this would be easy." Chen said, as he suddenly ran out of the door and fetched one of the dead bodies.

"Something just came to me..." Chen said.

Chen placed the face of the dead terrorist against the retina scanner.

Access Granted

"Excellent" exclaimed Chen.

He then proceeded to scan his fingers.

Access Denied. You have used one (1) of five (5) chances.

"Shit" said Chen. "Any ideas?"

Schwarz hit the scanner, repeatedly 5 times.

"Here's a recorded voice. Try if it works. I'll see if any of those idiots has the code written down..." he said, starting to go through the terrorists pockets.

Chen took the recording and tried it. The machine made all kinds of static-sounds and then...

"Of course..." said Chen. "Violence eh?"

"Hmm. Good idea Schwarz. Did you find a pass code?"

"Try this." hands him a paper with a 75 digit number. "If it doesn't work, try it backwards... terrorists don't have much fantasy..."
