The founders of the jighaw religion dates back to year 0 BC. A small group of people seeked the truth and they found the answer in Jighaw. During the next years this belief grew and became the main religion in Spain and Portugal. Trading and fighting with the northern African states slowly converted the Africans into the religion. The holly royal family have ruled for ages. The kings job have primarily to keep God happy. Building temples and making sure that enough people pray to him at all times. The religion it selves build on Christianity. The followers believe that Jesus Christ already have been born and been crussified thousands of years ago. They believe that the day of doom already have happened, and the sinners have been sent to hell and the saints to heaven. Those who god could not decide where to put now lives in the middle world. On the day they die Gods angles will come down from heaven and lift them up to the almighty god. If you have been a sinner the demons of eternal hell will drag you down into the underworld. But dose who die in war will be reborn in heaven where they will sit by Gods own table as his friend.

"GOVERMENT"
The wast kingdom is ruled by the same royal family as started the sect. Pedro Juan IV now rule with his queen Sophia. There job is primarily to represent the kingdom in contact with the rest of the world as well as being the head of the church. They rule under the leadership of God. They are believed to be direct descendents from Jesus Christ. The royal family live in isolation from the rest of the world. There only contact with those outside the hige walls protecting the pallas is the hige priests. The hige priest are the top leaders of each of the kingdoms. They are seven in total. They come from Portugal, Morocco, west Sahara, Algerian, Libya and west Egypt. The last hige priest is the king who represents Spain. How each one of them rules there kingdom is up to them and the king don't care as long as they don't try tom leave the united kingdom or anything of that sort. Once a year the hige priest meets in the kings palace where they inform the king of the condition of the kingdom. All the hige priest have in there powers to call for a meeting whenever they feel the need, and ever one of the seven hige priest will have to abandon whatever task they may have to attend the meeting.

INTERNATIONALE AFFERS
For now they have no alliances and no enemies. The dividing of Egypt is nothing they cares about and don't want to make a big deal out of it. They are satisfied with using the river Nile to divide the kingdoms.
They feel that Caladonns fortifications on both sides of Gibraltar is a thorn in there side but they have built two heavily guarded castles on both sides to make sure no one leaves or come without there knowledge. And now they have come to the conclusion that "you don't attack us, then we don't attack you". They now seek a husband for there princes witch have reached the marriage age.

The kings have ordered this message to be spread throught the world.
The King of Kamasha's oldest daughter have now reached the age of 18. And it is time for her to be marriged. I marrige between a royal prince and our princes could secure the future of two kingdoms. Strong alliances and trading benifits will follow as a part of the agrement. A great amont of land have already been prepered in northern spain or western egypt for the royal cuple to settle on. Where the cuple will decide to settle is there own decition. Princes Margareta's husband will recive the title "Prince of Kamasha" and will become number 5 in line of the thrown. Not counting the king. We request every nation to send a reperesant to the Castle in Madrid to discus the marrige.

Caladonn, being a nation close to Kamasha both in goals and geography, would be honored to send Levian Holimion, the son of the Supreme Consul Aramil Holimion, to wed the Kamashan princess. We hope this will bring us into a close friendship broaching the Channel, and focus attention on our joint enemy: The Ralish.

OOC: Getting your messenger to Madnestan through all the Ralish Empire, finding and choosing some Trbie King to invite and then getting him through the continent back to Kamasha would most propably take longer than three months. On the other hand, I doubt if Kamashians even knew about the "country" called Madnestan... they might have heard about Madnestian mercenaries in the Ralish Empire, but that's propably about it...

the message it's self didn't even Reach angermanland. the house of shadows intercepted it part way through the Ralish empire.

the reply was short, to the point, and appeared far sooner than anyone would expect, in a rather subtly drimatic fasion.

the king himself would find the note on this throne:

"wisdom lies not in makeing demands that cannot be met, of those who would otherwise be your friends.

be aware of the world, for the world is Always aware of you.

best of luck to your daughter and the Consul's son, and may your successor be wiser than yourself."

of course, this note was unmarked as to it's origon, but underneath it was the original message, in both angerman and Kamasha script. at the top and bottom of the page it read 'message undeliverable for the safty of it's intended recipiants'

The King of kamasha
As word spread throughout Caladonn of this great event taking place, the people were overjoyed. Supreme Consul Aramil Holimion, his wife, and his son to be wed left immediately for Kamasha, eager to learn about this place that would soon be allied with Caladonn. Shortly after, many of the leading Senators of the Imperial Senate also left for Kamasha, to represent the entirety of Caladonn at this historic moment.

The Witan met in formal session, as the message from 'Kamasha' had been recieved.
Since the King was absent, Godwin, most senior member, began proceedings.
"You have all now read the message. What say you?"
"We do NOT bow to threats."
"No, but this may be an opportunity...we would not be the only ones represented."
"The King cannot go. He is on campaign, he cannot abandon the army at this stage."
"In which case one of us must go."
"By rights the most senior and closest to the King."
"Godwin, would you represent us at this wedding?"
"I could."
"You'll want some of the housecarls to make an impression, and rich gifts. All of which can be arranged, of course."
"Of course. I shall leave in a fortnight, to be there in plenty of time."
"All will be ready."
The meeting dispersed.

The representatives from Terror Incognitia and Caladonn got the party of there life. At the dock they were greeted by no less then 10 000 Kamasha soldiers in shining armor. The entire royal army were gathered to great them. Godwin along with Supreme Consul Aramil Holimion his wife and there son were put in large wagons pulled by huge African elephants. The more important visitors were put inside ordinary wagons pulled by white horses. The less fortunate visitors were left to walk all the way to the palace. 50 000 men, women and children stood in the streets cheering there new prince. Flowers were thrown in there way as a symbol of happiness. Most ironical most flowers were either stomped upon by a big elephant or eaten by one of the many horses. As they neared the royal palace the giant doors opened and the whole group entered.

Inside the palace the king greeted them him selves. This was highly unorthodox and according to customs he should not have shown him selves until the marriage were done. However he was so happy that he could not control himself. The guest were shown there quarters and then they were lead into the great hall. Reaching 100 meters in diameters the round building were huge. They were all seated according to importance. The Kamasha King and queen in the middle. The Supreme Consul Aramil Holimion and his wife to the right of the royal couple and Godwin to the left. The other guest were seated beside them again forming a circle. In the middle there were built some sort of bridge. The new weds were placed there so that all could watch them

The party started and all sorts of exclusive food were brought in. Food had been gathered from all around the world. And it were more then enough for everybody. According to tradition it was bad luck to leave the table first. So no one wanted to do so. Most often people fell asleep at the table, and then they were carried away by one of the guards. They king were pleased with this arraignment and he believed this would be a long night.

To Godwin's eyes, the whole thing was very overdone, but he still had a sneaking admiration for going over-the-top so WELL.
The food had been uniformly excellent, and this was only the welcoming feast, not the wedding itself.
He sat back and let his belt out a few notches...maybe just one more plateful.

The party continued into the next day, until the king gave a secret sign and one of the men gathered stood up and walked away. A loss of honor but the king had hired the man for just occasions like this. After the first man had left many more stood up. No there were no honor issue to force them to be seated. Late the king was left with only Godwin and Consul Aramil Holimion his wife had retired a little bit earlier. "Now gentlemen it is time for us to talk business" the king said as the princess and soon to be prince left the room. Out of old costumes they would now be wed without any other audiences then the priest. "As our young ones are being wed I believe that I tell you of my nations intentions in the following times" the king continued. "I can see her today who we can trust and who we can not. tonight Kamasha and Caladonn will make strong alliance. And you Godwin and your people will for ever be welcome in Kamasha". He took a deep breath and started talking again. "However I am not willing to forgive some of the kingdoms who did not even send a represent. Especially The Ralish and toopoxia. I have promised that I shall join some sort of campaign against the Ralish. How ever I intend to crush toopoxia first. The orders have been spread through the kingdom and my advertisers think that as much as 250 000 persons can be gathered within the next months. They consists both of the soldiers needed to conquer the land as well as the civilians that finally will settle the land. The men come from all around the kingdom and are the best we have to offer. No gentlemen you may talk".
Caladonn

The Caladonnian delegation was blown away by the sheer massiveness of the entire celebration. The Imperial Senate would never authorise the means required to gather 10,000 men of the Army in one place simply for a wedding, and elephants had never been seen in Caladonn, though some of the more worldly members of the tour had seen them once or twice. Still, the general attitude was one of unabashed amazement. The fact that it went so strongly against Caladonnian values of gravitas and pragmatism made it all the more enjoyable.

After the sumptuous feast, Aramil shook himself out of his tiredness to talk business.

"I am sure that the futures of our three nations lie closely intertwined, both geographically and otherwise. I am deeply honored by the alliance that begins today between Kamasha and Caladonn, but the similar agreement with Incognitia is no less important, of course.

Normally, I would counsel against taking on Toopoxica while the Ralish remains at large, but there is stalemate in Frisia, and little news from Angermanland or Osteia. Therefore, I think that a push into Toopoxica could work well at this time, especially since it could open up another front against the Ralish in Judaea and the eastern Mediterranean.

The Caladonnian army is stretched thin at the moment, but we still have deep maritime reserves to draw on. I can pledge at least 20 warships and 500 men to the fight against Toopoxica, with the possibility of more when the expedition to the Islas Canarias is completed.

Strategic and military matters aside, Toopoxica could prove incredibly valuable in regards to trade. As you know, the Ralish currently holds a monopoly on the Silk Road to the distant lands of Mishin and Kirisubo. Mythical tales tell that the sea to the south of Toopoxica extends all the way to those far eastern kingdoms. Such a sea route would be less expensive than the long, arduous, and danger-fraught journey across the steppes of Asia, and would also pull control of this most lucrative of trade routes out of the hands of our enemy. All we need to utilise this important venture is the lands of Toopoxica, especially the Sinai Isthmus. With this under Kamashan-Caladonnian control, a road could be constructed from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea sides, with ports on either end. Then, with the building of a fleet in the Red Sea, all that is required to come to the Far East is suitable provisioning and exploration."

"We ourselves are now at war with Alshor.

We are fighting them in the Pyrenees, but the Witan is now considering our strategy in the war.
We may be able to send as many as one score of thousands of men to assist; we would have to consider this issue. We currently have a harvest fyrd, six-score thousand. Half of this will be disbanded shortly to await a Ralish invasion. Two thirds of the remainder will be kept ready for any invasion.
The 20,000 men that are left, we may commit in a thrust towards Frisia; we may send to assist Osteia gain independence over the Alps; or with assistance in transport, we could send men to help take the Sinai peninsula, and with the construction of a road to the southern sea. Moses parted the Red Sea - we can join it with the Mediterranean, in one sense at least."

"So, dependent on Osteia and Caladonn, we can send as many as 20,000 men to Toopoxica."
Caladonn
03-10-2006, 02:09
"I think that Incognitia's troops could be better served in aiding on the Osteian Alps or in Frisia than against Toopoxica; after all, Kamasha has little border with the Ralish, and is poewrful enough to defeat Toopoxica, with some Caladonnian assistance. I personally expect Toopoxica to be a challenge, but nothing we cannot handle.

The Ralish, of course, is a more uncertain matter. I am considering hosting a conference in Caladonn between all the members of the war against the Alshorians, since to be divided is to fall in this instance. If we can coordinate a general strategy and diplomacy, things will go far better for us than otherwise."
Terror Incognitia
06-10-2006, 02:03
"I can assure you, that however we are divided, Incognitia will not fall. It is doubtful that Alshor will manage to counter our incursion into their territory, let alone attack our lands.
In addition it may be considered by the Witan that Incognitians should be present as part of this great enterprise. We will have to discuss this issue."

I thank you for the offers to help us defeat the toopoxians.. I hope that this entire conflict will be solved within the next year. I think that it would be the best for us if we split into two groups. I think it would be for best if you join forces and attack in the north wile Kamasha soldiers move in through the southern border. this way we would easily make the toopoxians fight on two fronts. what do you think? This way we will crush the toopoxians defences and conquer the land at twice the speed.
Caladonn
09-10-2006, 23:46
"This seems eminently reasonable. However, due to the massing in the north and, strangely enough, no word from the Canary Islands, not to mention Osteia, we only have around 1,000 men on hand to commit to this expedition... Caladonn will no doubt be more helpful in transporting Incognitia's troops, and attacking by sea, than in the actual land assault. Still, if Incognitia can provide a significant number of troops, our combined forces could present a significant problem to Toopoxica."
Terror Incognitia
10-10-2006, 22:04
"The last word before I departed showed no signs of danger; no raids, no massings of troops anywhere we can see.
And last word from the Pyrenees was of success.
So we may be able to give a full 20,000 - as long as Caladonn can help transport and supply so many, for we cannot, not in those numbers at such a distance."
