The Government of Silian needs money to fund its glorious army. For that reason we are hereby selling slaves. The slaves are mostly convicts which should be under surveillance all the time. Some of the other slaves are the people who sold themselves to slavery. The prices are as follows:

1 Convict Slave Male = 10 SL
1 Convict Slave Female = 15 SL
1 Convict Slave Child = 15 SL

1 Slave Male = 20 SL
1 Slave Female = 25 SL
1 Slave Child = 25 SL

The Government of Kahanistan condemns the sickening and barbaric practice of slave marketing that takes place in the nation of Silian. Silian will indeed need its "glorious" army to be well-prepared.

Slavery is a violation of human rights and all Republic Navy vessels are authorized to stop and search all vessels suspected of slaving, and seize the slaves aboard for purposes of granting asylum in Kahanistan, as per the Combating Slavery Act of 1977.

Herastall expresses concern over Kahanistan's quick actions to take violent acts to abolish slavery. Herastall also wonders if Kahanistan realises by destroying ports, ships, buildings or anything else their steal bombers may be used to attack, could quite simply decrease the number of jobs avalible, a rise in crime, and hence, a rise in blackmarket slavery? Herastall asks for Kahanistan to consider giving Silian more time.

The idea is that they were bought for the express purpouse of manumission (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=Manumit&x=0&y=0) by some private individual (whom I OOCly know the identity of, mind), because, frankly, the price was so low, he'd be able to buy less than one tank from the profits. If the previous post (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11692760&postcount=12) wasn't clear enough, even the murderers would be freed from slavery upon arrival.

As for everyone else, esp. Asgarnieu... all slaves in Silian are now free. He's said as much. Got that? You're demanding that he release them... when he already has. You're killing civillians for absolutely no reason whatsoever. With bloody firebombs, no less.

A hand-delivered letter by a gentleman in a light coat, who spoke not, and seemed to enter and leave by some unknown means, one would assume a secret passage. Both on his lapel, and sealing the letter in green wax, was a design of a twisted bough of leaves, not unlike the wreaths common from roman-inspired cultures.

I don’t know how precisely you learnt of this given that our operations are traditionally secret as opposed to flaunted obviously. As you apparently have, which speaks volumes of an intelligence service you really shouldn’t be able to produce and doubtless cannot sustain, I shall explain.

First, I shall deal with your accusations about the Elenaran. It’s a dark universe of pain and suffering we find ourselves in, and the various operatives sanctioned by him generally work to bring light to such places. Besides this, he was not responsible for the slave-purchasing operations.

This was the action of ‘my’ own non-governmental organisation. The price paid for these slaves is far insufficient for the government in question to buy a tank, let alone a ‘glorious army’ (they were charging pocket change for people).

Such people as we have bought have been saved from exploitation, and will, upon their arrival, all be freed, and allowed to go where they will and do as they wish. It is vaguely disturbing that you would think otherwise. Along with many others, I myself have been saved from death at the hands of tyrants by the C’tan, as have millions, maybe billions, of others.

Neither the C’tan government (such as it is) nor my own people tolerate the compulsion of labour and upon their arrival even the ‘criminals’ among the group will be liberated. I feel no compulsion to explain myself further, but please, in future, remember, if it seems to incredible to be true, it probably is, and there is probably more afoot than you know.

As we stated before slavery is now abolished in Silian. Still again in the light of new threats the slaves that were supposed to be sent to CTan will be freed as well. But in order to lower the crime rate because of this recent population rise We are asking the mightier nations for work opportunities and some financial funding. The nation which is funding Silian may spend the funds itself thus eliminating the chance of misuse. Again to lower the crime rate We would like to send 1000 of our future psychologists to another nation to be educated in Criminal Rehabilitation.
