'Ere's my Bio, but it goes deeper than that.
Species Used: Ku'Ru'Tai (70%), Humans (25%), Human-Ku'Ru'Tai Mixes (3%), other (2%)
Species Description: Ku'Ru'Tai stand about 5'5", humanoid, bipedal. Their skin is green and you can see veins in it because the Ku'Ru'Tai are two creatures, the Ku'Ru'Tai itself and the Tuee plant that acts as a skin, but the plant is tight enough on the Ku'Ru'Tai that one can only notice the fact their skin is green, but it also changes to red, yellow, or brown with certain Ku'Ru'Tai sub races, especially ones that live in more temperate environments. Ku'Ru'Tai can breed with humans, and there is a small community of them within their main nation.
From: Original
Name of nation: The Phaylaa Imperium
Population: 3 Million
National Description: Founded by the legendary Ku'Ru'Tai Warrior-Prophet who ended a long and bloody war with the human settlers moving into the riverbanks in which the Ku'Ru'Tai thrive, they have since become a prosperous and powerful nation-state, with its river system being the focus of much trade within the region. The Ku'Ru'Tai and Humans, especially in the more rural areas, have some tensions, but not too much as the Humans are given governmental representation, even a Human king at one point.
Location: Great Lily River (Easternmost river on the peninsula)

Phaylaa Imperium

The Ku'Ru'Tai, in the beginning, were suffering greatly from a drought that killed off many of their crops, domestic animals, and the symbioses themselves. The Ku'Ru'Tai eventually were limited to the river that their symbioses' ancestors came from. Despite these hardships, Ku'Ru'Tai have a very short span of inter-Clan war and there are no longer Clan-specific prides within Ku'Ru'Tai save for the more rural Ku'Ru'Tai. Human settlers, however, soon encroached on the river and started to inhabit the banks, creating villages and towns. The frontiersmen and women, however, began to attack and sack Ku'Ru'Tai villages, which they considered, as non-Humans, to be inferior to them. The Ku'Ru'Tai villages began to make counter-attacks and the different Clans of the Ku'Ru'Tai banded together and started to attack the Human villages and towns, who were protected under a Human-dominated kingdom. Eventually the Human kingdom sent troops, whom the Ku'Ru'Tai also drove away from their own lands, but the raids on the humans were unsuccessful.

Eventually, however, the drought ended, and the Ku'Ru'Tai population skyrocketed as food and water became more abundant. The Ku'Ru'Tai, within twenty years, was seizing the Human towns and cities by the rivers. The Ku'Ru'Tai was as well armed and trained as the human kingdom within thirty years of the first skirmishes. Eventually, the Ku'Ru'Tai had sacked the human kingdom's capital, killed its monarchs and nobles, and established their own monarchs. The Ku'Ru'Tai began a long and brutal policy of genocide against humans, killing 80% of the human population near the Great Lily River. A war with a different Human kingdom, upset at these events, however, left the unnamed Ku'Ru'Tai Empire in flames.

The Ku'Ru'Tai were eventually brought back to power under the leadership of a servant of Loi, their God of Righteous War and the God of Peace. The man was named Phaylaa, and he pushed out the Human kingdom, negotiated the removal of the established Human monarch (As humans were a minority) and was then unanimously voted by the Clans as the King. There is some evidence, however, that one of the reasons they were so cooperative in pulling out their occupying forces was because of the fact that the Tya'Noria were eating their citizens and taking over their cities and they needed all the men they could get. Instead of sending the humans packing, he allowed them to stay as equal citizens. His descendants were all benevolent rulers, with all of them attempting peaceful diplomacy to put down the Human Rebellions that lasted about two centuries (Not all of these rebellions were put down peacefully in the end, but most were), ending about a century ago. The Phaylaa Empire has had several wars with its neighbors, but no major ones, and the Phaylaa Empire provoked none of them. Small communities of Human-Ku'Ru'Tai hybrids have since popped up, as the Human communities generally rejected them and they often found themselves uncomfortable among the Ku'Ru'Tai.

The Phaylaa Empire, from the time it seized the Human capital, is about 560 years old, with records about their civilization going as far back as 23,000 years ago, which is used for the beginning of their civilization.

King Wahoo: Known for marrying a Human woman, a controversial move. First king to deal with the Human Rebellions.
King Jacob: Known for being the sole Human King of the Phaylaa Imperium and brother-in-law to Waahiu. Second King to deal with the Human Rebellions, also the first to resort to violence against them. First king to have to deal with a war with another kingdom that didn't directly involve the Ku'Ru'Tai in power.
King Juuhau I: First Hybrid King. Fought another, shorter war than what his uncle, King Jacob, had to deal with. Also had to face with the Human Rebellions.
King Tuuil IV: Second Hybrid King. Had a rather quiet time in power, with the Human Rebellions having been calmed by his brother, Juuhau I. Established the Parliament, a representative body of all the administrative areas, which could make requests or even demands on the Monarchy.
King Juuhau II: First purely Ku'Ru'Tai king since Wahoo. Had to deal with more human rebellions.
King Juuhau III: First King to have a calm and quiet term. Gave Parliament more powers, such as monetary affairs and certain legislation.
King Phaylaa III: Another quiet term. Still alive, but gave up the throne because of medical problems.
King Phaylaa IV: Current King. So far a quiet term.

Number of Ruling Monarchs: 14 Monarchs, 9 Male pure Ku'Ru'Tai kings, 1 Never-Married Prince, 1 female Ku'Ru'Tai Queen, 1 Human King, 2 Hybrids.

-Technology-
The Ku'Ru'Tai are just beginning to explore steam technology for transport, with their largest naval ships being run by both steam and sail and being mostly iron. The Ku'Ru'Tai buildings are largely fireproof plantoid structures manipulated by Druids. Human buildings are either stone, wooden, concrete, or iron. Ku'Ru'Tai, however, are also known for being the first to explore Telegraph, telephone, and radio technologies and have extensive telegraph and telephone systems and hydro-electric and wind dams, but still getting most of their energy from fossil fuel burning.

The Ku'Ru'Tai relies mostly on infantry with Breechloader rifles, swords, and artillery equivalent of the late American 'Wild West' era. The Ku'Ru'Tai still issue shields that don't restrict the aim and Area of View, but they still rely mostly on swords and their gun technology is inferior to others.

-Magics-
The Ku'Ru'Tai rely heavily on Druidic and Clerical magics in their military and their society as a whole. Most Nobles are a Cleric or a Druid of one form or another, with the earlier Monarchs being warriors and the latest being Druid-Mages. Most Ku'Ru'Tai and Hybrids are taught Druidic Cantrips and low-power spells for everyday use at young ages. There is a significant wizard population among the Human communities.

-Society-
Humans, Hybrids, and Ku'Ru'Tai live in peace in a harmonious society ruled by a benevolent Monarch and a busy and interesting Parliament system. The Ku'Ru'Tai and the Hybrids worship three primary Gods: Loi, the God of Righteous War and the God of Peace; Okkuku, the God of Wealth and the God of Harmony; and Yuuata, the Goddess of the Water, Goddess of Health, and the Goddess of longevity and then other minor Ku'Ru'Tai Gods. The Humans worship a large pantheon of Gods. In the rural areas, Humans farm crops such as Corn, Potatoes, Wheat and other cereals, and have a large bread making industry. In rural areas, Ku'Ru'Tai and hybrids farm the symbiote plant, algaes, edible plants, cash crops (such as Cotton, Indigo, and Tobacco), and gather fresh water. There is a small but rich Gold mining operation in the southeast, a large coal mining industry in the northeast, and a small timber industry in the northwest. On the coast there is a very large fishing industry. In the cities, especially on the coasts, there is a large manufacturing industry. The Great Lily Delta is a large trading and shipyard area. There is a large upper class of businessmen, Nobles, and wealthy human Wizards. The Phaylaa Imperium Government is mostly Ku'Ru'Tai, with a large Human representation, dominated by Three Main Political Parties: Good Nobles (Conservative, pro-Monarch party), Freedom Party (Human-dominated, Liberal Party), and the Water Party (Pro-Business, yet rather Moderate party). Ku'Ru'Tai politics are complex, but not as heated as most other governments. Most major Ku'Ru'Tai settlements and governing bodies are Male-Dominated with strong Female voices backing up the males. Males do most of the business, farming, etc. while the women attend to matters of the home and attend to local politics in the smaller settlements. Humans are too predictable to list. Hybrid communities are largely mixed and equal. Phaylaa foreign policy is largely neutral, with its standing army usually at reduced numbers with a large Reserve, as all able-bodies males at the age of 17 must sign up for a draft and receive basic training.

Important People and Groups in the Phaylaa Imperium
-King Phaylaa IV: The current King of the Phaylaa Imperium. Ninth rightful Heir to King Phaylaa I. Phaylaa IV, like several of his predecessors, is a powerful Druid who rules the Phaylaa imperium with benevolence and is seeking to expand the borders to the whole Great Lily River, from which the Ku'Ru'Tai originated from.

-Queen Kuaa II: The Queen of the Phaylaa Imperium, and Phaylaa IV's wife. She is known for her beauty and her wit, not to mention her sharp tongue.

-Sir Isaac Jimethre: Speaker of Parliment, Good Noble Party. While the Good Noble party is right-winged in many of its actions, like all non-radical political parties in the Phaylaa parliment system, they think first of its citizens. Sir Issac has been accused of being too left for the party, but his loyalty to the Monarchy is unquestioned and his abilities and intelligence widely recognized and respected. As representitive of Parliment to the King, he is the monarch's closest advisor.

-Kyle Waterthroat: A wealthy businessman, Kyle Waterthroat operates Water Enterprises, the largest shipbuilding company in the nation. Water Enterprises has been accused, on several occasions, of completely ignoring enviromental protection laws, by each accusation has come out to be false, but even those reports come out into scrutiny. Kyle and his company still retain a good reputation, as their donations have led to much prosperity in the region.

-Tabuua Kiiwaa: Tabuua is the ArchDruid of the Phaylaa Imperium, and the one who trained the last four Kings. An ancient Ku'Ru'Tai, he is argueably the King's best friend and contends with Issac for closest advisor, although neither seem to want to earn that title as their own.

-Kibbua Thahh: Kibbua Thahh operates the largest Arms manufacturing company, Thahh Valley Firearms. His company creates a great deal many rifles and gun, even artillery for the military. Kibbua is rather mysterious himself, as he is afraid of public scrutiny because he builds guns, but is often spotted at large parties.
