Rosbanin's Decision (ATTN: Zukariaa, 60s tech CLOSED)

OOC:
NOTE. This takes place in the late 1950s/early 1960s. It is before the GASN was decided and it is before many alliances I hold with Zukariaa. TG me for interest and whatnot.
Secret IC:
"This better be important, Sergei." Stesha Cohen spoke, a small child on his lap. "I'm supposed to be somewhere."
"It is, Sir." Major General Sergei Rosbanin answered. "Sir, we have indeed found a passage to transport naval equipment faster...but it lies in enemy land. "Duskan! Pull down the map!"
A young conscript ran over to the wall and pulled down a map.

OOC: Yes, my microsoft paint skills are horrendous.
Secret IC:
"If we seize the area around Unsterblich," he pointed to the red square on the map "we will have full access through the region and the ability to reach the ocean faster than sailing around the entire continent. It will also show the world that Jaredcohenia is not a weak nation...it will show the full might of the Jaredcohenian army!"
"You mean the full power of the Jaredcohenian teenagers who weren't able to get into college..." Duskan spoke under his breath.
"What was that, boy?" Rosbanin asked him, "Does the fact that you're my apprentice and the fact that I'm not paid to train you not please you?!" Duskan had no response, and Sergei got his cool back. "Well, sir, we believe that the Zukariaans have a weak spot to the east of the river, about 50 km. If the army were to secure a strongpoint and move west towards the river and capture Unsterblich, the rest of the River Wütenden will fall."
"If you think this'll work, troops will be committed. Sergei...your last idea failed, and the one before that did as well. If this one does not work, then it'll be your last. Am I clear?"
"As crystal, sir. Duskan, put up a message on the radios and televisions that all men with conscript numbers one to one hundred thirty-seven have been called and to head to their nearest military base."
"One to one thirty-seven?"
"Do I need to repeat myself?"
..."I'm sorry, sir."
One month later
Secret IC:
Landing ships were full of men, tanks, equipment, everything. Men lined up to get in, many were kissing their mothers and girlfriends, perhaps for the last time. Rosbanin stood on a pedestal, behind him the ocean. "Men! This may be your last time, but just remember. You have served the motherland well! Should we engage the enemy, then for each one Jaredcohenian killed three of theirs shall be dead!" Men cheered. "No matter what happens, you will be the pride of the Motherland! Your souls will be glorified as men who risked their life for the prosperity of the Motherland! Serve me well, men!" Duskan stood next to Rosbanin during his speech and after it, he was met with the last words he would hear from him. "Why aren't you on a boat yet? Your number was called seventy-eighth."
Duskan stared at his general, the man he studied under for three years. "I looked up to you as a fucking father. And that's the last thing you'll say to me? Fuck you." He turned the other cheek and left.
"Wait...Duskan..." Duskan was gone, he was among the hundreds of thousands of heads heading towards an assigned lander.
THREE HOURS LATER
Regular IC:
The last of the landers had left, heading towards Zukariaa. It would be several hours before they finally hit the coast, the men were packed in the boats like sardines. Yuri Duskan was on L783, the only thing he was thinking about were the final words he said to his general. Fuck You. How could I have said that to him...

Private Heinreich Wurttan was napping in his sleeping bag in the wooded trenches stretching across much of the Zukariaan beaches. They were always manned, as Zukariaa was what some nations would call paranoid. He was suddenly woken up by the splashing of the ocean.
He sat up and looked around. Out to sea he saw something that made his heart sink.
"Erik! Erik!" he crawled to the man next to him, waking him up,"Enemies! At sea!"
The man looked drowzy, before realizing what was happening. He stood up and ran down the trenches, waking everyone up. These men began to ready themselves, setting their guns up along the trenches. MG42's were set up, with Heinreich manning one.
As Erik reached a station, which was in reality a deeper trench with a roof, he radioed into command. They would need reinforcements. The others in the station began to radio other stations, and behind the trenches, over a hill, there was an armored group being informed of the situation.
That was all they would have. They would hope to hold out against the huge numbers of Jaredcohenians-which they didn't know at the time-and be reinforced.
Or they would die.
It didn't matter, either way. An armored group and 2000 men. They would do their duty to the Fatherland. As they sat in the trenches, being quiet as possible and draping camoflauge over themselves, they hoped they could have the Jaredcohenians think they were still asleep.
Heinreich switched the gun into full-auto. These bastards would die.
Elsewhere, the Command Center, in a city to the south, began mobolizing. It would take several hours to get their armored vehicles ready, and they knew it. They knew that the beach would be taken. The High Command was informed. They began to ready for a full-scale war.
Supreme General Henry Corrol was ready for his first war.
Jaredcohenia
17-09-2006, 06:19
40 landers hit the beach, the backs of them opening. There was one tank per two boats, so twenty tanks unloaded. As quiet as they could, they drove onto the beach.
"Be as quiet as possible, men...it's 4 am...who will be awake at this hour? Obviously not you, Duskan."
"Hmm...what?"
"My point exactly. Make sure your rifles are fully loaded...attach bayonets...we're going to be headed in towards the nearest town, it's one kilo away. Try and be quiet, it's going to be a siege...kill anyone who is awake in that town."
"But sir, if we kill one person and they shriek in pain, wouldn't that wake more people up?"
"Thanks the point, Private."
The men began to move in.
[NS]Zukariaa
17-09-2006, 06:28
Heinreich watched carefully from under his camo. The men were moving slowly up the beach, being as quiet as possible. They obviously didn't realize that they were being watched. Suddenly, it began. One gun began to fire rapidly on the force, then came the fire of nearly 2000 guns. Hundreds of men began to scream, trying to make themselves seem more powerful.
Seven rockets screamed through the air, aimed at the tanks and landing craft. The more explosions, the better.
Several mortars from just behind the hills began to hit, as well. These men who were so severely outnumbered, were giving it their all. Thousands of bullets were spraying the ground and the enemies. The sudden attack would give anyone a heart attack if they weren't preparing for it.
Over the hill, the armored group came into position. They moved to the tops of the hills with a good vantage point on the beach and began firing down. Tanks shells and large machine guns began to fire down along with the men on the beach.
Heinreich was having the time of his life mindlessly firing into the Jaredcohenian men. The only thought on his mind was to kill the bastards who dared to set foot on his homeland.
Jaredcohenia
17-09-2006, 06:35
"Shit!"
Men began to fall, not expecting the onslaught that occured. Four landing craft blew up as the fire hit it, one rocket missed a tank slightly while still killing eight men who were outside it, one tank caught on fire, and another decimated.
A Sgt. just screamed one thing, "FIRE AT WILL MEN!"
"THE PAIN!" a man who was hit by a tank shell screamed, how he survived while his legs and half of his arm was not attached to the rest of his body was a miracle. His life was ended by a Zukariaan bullet to the head.
The tanks started firing towards the Zukariaan tanks, men grabbed RPGs and fired in all directions. Some landing craft tried to escape but were destroyed by mortars. More and more men fell as bullets kept flying, but the Jaredcohenians were firing their AK-47s as their lives depended on it.
Five minutes into the battle, one in every ten Jaredcohenian deployed had a bullet somewhere in their body.
[NS]Zukariaa
17-09-2006, 06:46
Two of the ten tanks were destroyed, with another one loosing a large chunk but still functioning.
As the enemy RPGs began to hit the trenches, the Zukariaans realized that they needed to use the rest of theirs, as well. Now there were 30 RPGs firing into the enemies, along with 8 tanks and the mortars. The firing continued, even though now men were beginning to die.
Heinreich aimed for men that looked to be higher ranks, trying to rip them apart with his MG42. He could hear the men in the station yelling for reinforcements, saying they would be overrun by the overwhelming force, before an RPG smashed into it and exploded, sending two men flying though the air and whiping out easy access to the opposite side of the trench.
Erik was firing next to Heinreich, but then something happened that made Heinreich even more hateful to the invaders: A bullet hit him in the eye, exiting out the other side and spraying blood. He had no time to care, only to kill and survive.
The Jaredcohenians would continue to advance forward, despite all the odds against them. They were too numerous for the Zukariaans to win against in this small area.
Unluckily for them, however, the High Command recieved the transmission from the station and heard them be destroyed. It could only assume that the beach had been overrun.
The beach began to be heavily bombarded. The artillery was meant not to hit the actual trenches, but it could not be guaranteed...
Jaredcohenia
17-09-2006, 07:06
More landers hit the beach, men and tanks came out. Functioning tank number was 32, three had been destroyed and five had caught fire, all men inside had perished. More men with more weapons had been deployed, 12 tanks were now climbing the hills, firing shells and crushing anything in their way-including Jaredcohenians.
"For the Motherland!" the soldiers screamed as they ran into enemy fire, responding with the rat-tat-tat of their own.
An artillery shell hit one of the climbing tanks, it exploded and killed everyone in the radius. Men were on fire screaming in horror, their shrieks piercing other's hearts.
The Zukariaan resistance only made the Jaredcohenians angrier. Rocket-propelled grenades hit the Earth, one hit and blew up a Jaredcohenian tank. Men with bayonets attached to their rifles charged in, while surely a sizable portion of them would be killed, others would gut the firing men alive.
[NS]Zukariaa
17-09-2006, 17:50
Anyone who felt they were fast enough fixed bayonets and would gut them as they approached. MG42's continued to mow down enemies, and the entire beach continued to be bombarded. Men with RPGs continued to hit whatever tanks or craft had not been destroyed by bombardment or other attack, while the tanks on the ridge continued to fire.
The jeeps were ready to take as many men as possible and drive away to the nearest town, and from the look of things, it might happen soon.
Jaredcohenia
17-09-2006, 18:27
Tangled messes of burning metal flew through the air as tanks blew up, arms and gore were all over the beach.
But that would not stop the advance.
The remaining tanks, now down to 24, kept moving on. They tried to fire at the jeeps, but the shots weren't clear.
"Duskan! Kill that guy with the MG! Duskan?!"
Duskan was busy, he had occupied an empty tank. He moved it forward, men sat on top of it firing their AK-47s and RPGs. They were hit by enemy fire and mortars, but they kept on firing. The tank kept moving up the hill, despite being pounded by bullets.
An artillery shell fell on a tank, a loud explosion. The gas engine had been hit, sparking a raging inferno. The blaze was growing steadily.
"Push on for the motherland! Never give up...trust your in-" the man had been shot and killed.
[NS]Zukariaa
17-09-2006, 20:25
It was over for this beach defence. As hundreds of men began to bayonet the advancing enemies, others were ordered to pull back to help with the defence of the nearest town. Men began to pile into jeeps and drive off. The full bombardment of the beach began, regardless of who was in the trenches. The entire beach and trench began to explode left and right.
Heinreich looked on as the armored group began to pull away. 200 men were leaving.
In the nearby town of Kaisersburg, the civilian populace was armed with bolt-action rifles. MG42's were being set up in windows. Men were taking cover and waiting. The armored group was slowly coming near, and from the other side were 500 men approaching the town. In all, 700 soldiers and 1200 civilians were going to fight to the death if needed.
Heinreich was one of them..
Jaredcohenia
17-09-2006, 20:47
Fires strew across the beach did not stop the remaining Jaredcohenians. Twelve tanks remained and kept pressing forward, out of the 1600 landed less than half survived, but the enemy had been driven out.
Duskan had survived, he sat on a tank and radioed for backup. "They're offering more of a resistance than we thought..."
"Do you require air support?"
"It would help, send us a few helicopters too."
"Roger that."
The bombardment finally stopped, the men set up camp. "Rest up, boys." A superior officer spoke. "They're going to give us hell in the morning."
Hours later...
Bombers flew in from the north, the BoL Aerosupreme (AKA the BoL 53-see MiG 21) was in the sky. Helicopters with more supplies landed at the beach, more men and heavier guns. More landers made it onto the beach, a mechanized division with Jeeps and tanks. Duskan was one of the lucky men to be put on a Jeep. "So what are my orders?"
"You and your men come in after the bombing and kill anyone who remains."
"Great."
The bombers advanced to Kaiserburg, the bombbay doors opened.
[NS]Zukariaa
17-09-2006, 20:55
The bombs exploded all throughout the town, killing dozens of civilians and soldiers. One entire building collased, taking 28 men with it.
"We need air support! Do you copy?! We need air support!" screamed a man into a mic, trying to get HQ.
"We copy, on it-" the building was hit with a bomb, cutting off communications.
Men scrambled to the 3 AA guns that had been towed in with the armored group, firing into the sky. Soldiers were taking shots when they got the chance. The force in Unsterblich meant to counter-attack set out, and would take nearly a day to reach Kaiserburg. Several bombers and jets were sent to hit the beachhead and fight off enemy bombers, but would take nearly 2 hours to arrive. The men in Kaiserburg would have to hold off..
Jaredcohenia
17-09-2006, 21:08
Bombers had been hit, several fell to the ground and exploded. Aboard J53K...
"Engine 4 has been hit, engine fire."
"Cut off all power to it!"
"It's stuc-Engine 3 has been hit! We're going down!" The plane fell right into the city and exploded.
Jaredcohenian men had ran into the city, thinking it was safe. Bombs fell on them, fire engulfed their corpses. Duskan's jeep made it into the city, all the men jumped out. "So I'm supposed to clear the town to make way for the mechanized...right..." Other jeeps came in behind him, they walked into the city armed with their AK-47s and bayonets attached to the rifle. They walked into the city.
[NS]Zukariaa
18-09-2006, 04:58
As the men entered the city, gunfire poored out from all corners. Windows lit with MG42 fire, grenades landed near jeeps, and civilians without guns began tossing bricks.
A tank moved around a corner, firing it's machine gun and firing shells into men. It was a Zukariaan Tiger tank, much like it's German counterpart.
Heinreich was no longer manning an MG42. This time he had a rifle, and fired into a group of men. The amount of gunfire was deafaning in the city streets as explosions hit everywhere, blowing rocks into the sky. A barricade of sandbags and rubble blocked off an entire street in one place, with an MG42 and a dozen men firing into any advancers. RPGs took hits off where they could.
The defence of Kaiserburg would be fierce. It was the closest town to the beach, the next being nearly 25km to the east.
Jaredcohenia
18-09-2006, 21:49
Jeeps exploded, with full gas tanks the fire would be fierce. Any jeep not hit by a grenade was quicky torn apart by MG fire, of the original 5 jeeps that entered Kaiserburg, only Duskan's remained.
Duskan viciously drove throughout the town, the men on the back of his jeep firing their rifles at anyone in their way, behind them men rushed in with their AK-47s. Their target would be the civillians unarmed, with less of them ideally a it would be impossible for the city to be repopulated once the army left.
Fifty men, although damaged, rushed into the city behind those.
"Shit! Duskan, I'm out of bullets!" Serge Rostov yelled, he took out his Luger and fired it in the meantime.
"Does it look like I can help you right now?!" He was swirving throughout the city, trying his best to avoid a hail of gunfire. "My rifle should be back there, take the ammo!"
The once quiet town was now the sounds of gunfire.
[NS]Zukariaa
18-09-2006, 23:44
Now nearly an hour into the battle, it would become apparant that, although set back by the Jaredcohenian bombers, the Zukariaans would begin to prevail. The small number of Jaredcohenian soldiers attacking compared to the 2000 Zukariaans was enough to overwhelm.
The Zukariaans began to push forward into the Jaredcohenians, trying to drive them out. Hopefully, they would be able to.
Jaredcohenia
19-09-2006, 00:02
Duskan looked in his rear-view mirror and saw the carnage that was behind him.
"Mikhail, what are you doing?" Rostov asked.
"Getting out of this place."
"But...you're disobeying orders! We are supposed to fight to the death!"
"Look, I have a child back home. I'm not abandoning him for anything." With that, Duskan's jeep left the hellhole that was Kaiserburg. He returned to camp.
"Duskan? What the fuck are you doing here?" Duskan ignored his superiors.
"Listen, guys." He stood up on a tank. "These Zukariaans are doing what any of us would do if anyone tried to take our home. So, we need to get 'em where it hurts."
"The nuts? That always hurts when someone kicks me there." A conscript asked. Silence ensued.
"No. We have more bombers, right?"
"Yes, look behind you." There were a few bombers that had made it out of Kaiserburg on the beach.
"Well, if we stay here it's almost positive that they're going to besiege us. So, how about we start another bombing run and while the bombs are falling we all run in and just fire like the madmen that we are?"
"That seems if it'll work. We have a limited number of Jeeps...only 12 of them plus yours. And only around 20 tanks."
"At 3 am...we attack the city. We bomb it and fire grenades at them. We capture the city, get more supplies, and turn it into a fort. Who's with me?" The group of around 600 men cheered. "We are severely outnumbered, make use of what you got. Banana cartridges are that way, boys!"
3AM. On the click.
The bombers flew over Kaiserburg once more, dropping all they had. Due to the lack of bombs, improvisation was a must.
"There goes wonderland..." A private murmered as he began to drop molotov cocktails from the bomber, they were bottles of vodka with socks in them as a fuse.
Behind them, through the jungles of corpses and trees, the Jaredcohenian front moved in. Twenty three tanks lead the way, followed by nine jeeps and several hundred men. This battle would decide the fake of the capture of Kaiserburg...
[NS]Zukariaa
19-09-2006, 04:53
The majority of the Zukariaans were resting when the bombings and ground attack came. Much exploded and caught fire, and many died almost immediatly. In one building, Heinreich's eyes jolted open as an entire half of the building he was in fell in on itself. He struggled to his feet, watching the building collapse in the other direction. The half he was in stayed up, by some miracle. He looked on as a large amount of the city burned. Men fought on bravely, including civilians.
They armed themselves with whatever they could find. The amazing part of the whole thing was the bravery demonstrated by the Zukariaan civilians. It filled Heinreich with a sense of pride. He lifted his gun and fired from the building with about a dozen others.
The armored group was half destroyed, but 17 tanks remained, fighting in the rubbled streets. It was like a scene from a World War II movie, especially considering the Zukariaan uniforms were exactly like the German uniforms in most ways.
It was now that the bombers and jets sent from Unsterblich arrived. Half of the bombers dropped along the advancing Jaredcohenians, mainly the tanks, while the other half went to hit the beach landing. The jets attacked the Jaredcohenian bombers, attempting to take them out.
RPGs fired into groups of Jaredcohenians, although there were many fewer than before.
It was just then that it began to rain. The battle would become much harder for both sides as a fog seemed to drift in with it slowly.
Jaredcohenia
19-09-2006, 21:04
Tanks exploded in the city, sending molten steel flying through anything in their way. Some bombers went down, but as they were hit they went towards the city, trying to crash into it and cause more damage. However, a few bombers, 3 of them, managed to survive out of the original 7, the bombs and molotovs kept flying and crashing towards the ground.
Men began to fly as they were hit by RPGs, the remaining tanks began to fire. Giant shells of whatever was available were fired. Men on top of them, though under heavy fire, managed to survive. Not many, mind you. They kept on firing.
Duskan's jeep went into the city again, three men out of each window and a few on top. They tried to fire at the men with the RPGs, some even fired at the planes for some reason.
"Get the Anti-Air!" a man screamed, the bombers were originally pelted by sprays of anti-air fire, capturing these would help.
By now, 14 tanks were functional. 9 jeeps went down to 6, they drove throughout the town as fast as they could trying to locate the men manning the anti-air weaponry.
[NS]Zukariaa
20-09-2006, 05:45
The Jaredcohenians would find that they had destroyed all three of the anti-air guns, whether purposely or some other way.
Throughout the city it became apparant that the Jaredcohenians with few supplies were somehow pushing the Zukariaan citizens and soldiers out of the city. But then they found new resolve as the jets began to strafe the advancing Jaredcohenians.
The Zukariaans began to push once more through the rubbled city streets, with nearly 200 charging in one place, as a coincidental explosion knocked a building down nearby, somehow adding to the dramatic attack. The Zukariaans were largely civilians with bolt-action rifles, firing as they charged, bayonets fixed. They were ready to die for their country, and as they approached, a Zukariaan fighter swooped down and strafed the advancing Jaredcohenians.
Heinreich moved down the blown out stairs of the building he had been in. Two other men moved nearby behind him, one carrying an MG42 on his shoulder. They reached the bottom, looking out the door into the carnage as Jaredcohenians moved by. After they passed, they ran across the street and into the opposite building. Inside they found several civilians. They set up.
The Battle for Kaiserburg had only just begun.
Jaredcohenia
21-09-2006, 00:50
Whatever Tank had survived the onslaught retreated, the Jeeps left too. Bodies, assumably both Jaredcohenian and Zukariaan, were finally at peace. Dead. Bombers were falling from the sky, turning into bombs themselves. The remaining bombers rained from the sky, some even had bombs in them.
Explosions continued until one Jeep was left in Kaiserburg, containing the following men:
Mikhail Duskan
Serge Rostov
Boris Ivanslav
Druzin Vladimirovich
Druzin had taken off a sock and attached it to a radio antenna. The men in the Jeep had surrendered, valuing their lives.
~~~~~
Few men had survived the Massacre at Kaiserburg and the bombing of the beachhead. Zukariaan bombers were not expected as fast as they were, many of the landing ships had been destroyed. Some remained, and what little troops were left (minus the ones listed above) got on and left, hopefully fleeing enemy eyes.
[NS]Zukariaa
21-09-2006, 01:15
The bombed out city of Kaiserburg greatly resembled what one would see in Europe during WWII. Men still hid in cover of buildings in case of attack, mainly civilians. The tired soldiers were ordered to work up a defence, and began to work their already tired bodies.
Soon after the end of the fighting, the Zukariaans moved in on the surrendered jeep. They were furious that anyone would have the nerve to surrender after attacking their homeland. One lifted his rifle on one of the men, unknown to the Zukariaans as Mikhail Duskan.
The first shot rang out before a higher ranking man came to stop them, hitting the shooter in the face, knocking him unconscious.
"We'll have none of this bullshit!" yelled the officer, whos head was bleeding from above the left temple. They would check Duskan for wounds and take the men out of the area and into Unsteblich in a POW camp.
The falling bombers had killed nearly 32 people. Left over from the battle were 1500 men. 250 were dead, and another 250 wounded. The dead Jaredcohenians were burnt outside of town, while the Zukariaans were neatly put into rows to be taken away when reinforcements came.
One radio still worked in town, bringing news that reinforcements would arrive soon, although the number was severely cut back due to the victory in Kaiserburg. Instead, the bulk of the force began to reinforce spots all along the country side, especially the nearest town, Viel.
In an hour, 200 Zukariaans and 20 tanks would reinforce the towns 1500 and 4.
Now, the Zukariaans rested themselves near their defences, leaving guards out to let the rest know if an attack came. Night was coming upon the area..
SIC:
News had hit Jaredcohenia as soon as the first lander returned to the homeland. Rosbanin was called to the Tyraningrad, to speak with Chairman Cohen.
"Sir..."
"Don't fucking sir me, you know what you fucking did?" Rosbanin didn't answer. "Do you fucking know what you did?"
"I lead my men into a trap."
"And now how many are alive?"
"Around fifty, four are prisoners of war."
"Did you not tell me that that one location was weaker than the rest? I was under the assuption that you meant it would be easy pickings, like you damn well told me."
"Our intelligence was not corr-"
"My intel has never failed me. Don't give me this bullshit, Sergei. And these prisoners of war? Make sure they're released and that the men who captured them are castrated."
"Fine. If you may listen to my suggestion...we capture the city of Viel, second town near the coast. We bomb the entire city and we have fighter cover. After Viel is captured, we have men move east towards the Unsterblich Metropolitan Area and we have men moving west towards Kaiserburg. If all goes well...I hope...we'll have the men in Kaiserburg hanged for their actions."
"Better work."
~~~~~~~~~
Duskan was shot in the arm, his left arm. He, luckily, was right-handed but could no longer drive. They all were in a POW camp.
"This sucks." Druzin said.
"I'm hungry," Ivan responded. "When we gon' get fed?"
"We'll be lucky if we get even get a piece of toast..." Mikhail told Ivan.
"How's your arm?" Ivan asked. No response.
~~~~~
Thirty bombers were in route to Zukariaa, the town of Viel. They were prepared this time, with 20 fighters in case any opposition from enemies would occur.
Bringing up the rear were fourty-two Samson Class B transport helicopters, for the ground assault on Viel.
*Hours Later*
The bombers had reached Viel, thirteen sets of bombbay doors dropped the payload throughout the city. There were about twenty one kiloton bombs in each plane, and this time the Jaredcohenian orders were fight to the death.
[NS]Zukariaa
21-09-2006, 02:51
Even with the all the preperations made in Viel, the defenders there had not expected the attackers to simply move past Kaiserburg.
As the enemy bombers came in, the men struggled to man the defenses they had so thoroughly set up within the city. Of course, the two dozen flak cannons were hit before much could be done. Followed by dozens of buildings collapsing onto the city streets, crushing anyone in the way.
The initial bombing took 300 men and leveled 34% of the city.
A guard came to the cell of the POWs from Kaiserburg. He had a tray, and on that tray was a glass of water and a plate of chicken wings.
"Hallo, hallo!" the Zukariaan said in a German accent,"Du! Fatshit! Du want this chicken? Du want this water?"
He grabbed the glass and slipped it through the bars, then poored it onto the cell floor and dropped the glass, breaking it in the cell. He then took a bite from the chicken and walked away with it, humming cheerfully..
Ivan, who had a glandular problem, struggled with his weight for his entire life. He was larger than the other men, taller and wider. The only thing stopping him was Druvin, who grabbed the back of his thigh, squeezing it for dear life.
In a heavy Russian accent, Duskan told the guard "Hay zalupa! Ebis' konyom!" (OOC: Hey dickhead, get a horse to you-know-what! in Russian)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The remainder of the bombers dropped bombs around tanks and concentrated areas of people-main targets included schools, flak guns, public buildings, and any government building. The helicopters were approaching Viel, they would wait until they were given the anti-air weaponry cleared message.
[NS]Zukariaa
21-09-2006, 03:23
The guard stopped, setting the plate on a table a bit down the hall, then turned around. The angry Ivan made him laugh a bit.
"Haha! Du think I do not know any Russian?" the man laughed,"Trust me, Boris, we don't take kindly to Reds around here, especially little Kike Reds like du'rselves."
The man spat at the ground in front of him, and spoke through his teeth,"Du will all know what hell is like before this is done."
In Viel, nearly half of the flak cannons were taken out, and 2 tanks. One was on fire, and very damaged.
Children ran through the streets, crying for their parents. They were being directed out of the city and into woods nearby with their parents. The civilians would not be fighting here like they were in Kaiserburg.
Soldiers began taking cover in buildings, setting up to hit anyone moving in. They were going to wait for the bombing to end. If they could..

The helicopters landed, some being hit by flak. There were about 30 men per helicopter, thirty nine had landed while others had to bail out. Some survived.
The men shot at anything that was moving, anyone. They aimed at women, children, old people-you name it. They learned the errors of Kaiserburg and were not going to forget the fact that civillians overwhelmed them. Men tried to use stickybombs on tanks if they saw one, but they would probably be gunned down. Men did have anti-tank grenades, those fired at tanks as well.

Boris's head popped up when the Zukariaan said his name, but he thought that it would be better if they didn't know his name.
"Ooh, look at mee. I am zee Bible fuhhking Zukarrrien! Vee has no order and za bible izz to be followed at all times! I am scaree and chiildvren are scarrd of my accent!" Duskan mocked the guard. "Do your worst. I'm not afraid of you."

That was enough, the guard walked off for several minutes, before coming back with two more guards.
"Keep du'r guns on them." he said, unlocking the cell door. He slammed the butt of his rifle into Duskan's forehead, then dragged him to his feet and out of the cell by his hair, keeping a Luger to the Jaredcohenian's head at all times. The other guards closed the door, and one stayed behind.
"Du think du'r funny?" the guard, a one Kurt Wurtheimer, laughed,"Du think du can handle what I am about to do to du?!"
He pushed him down and kicked him in the ribs before pulling him back up again. They reached the door to the room. The other guard began to unlock the door. Kurt kneed Duskan in his crotch, then pushed him into the now open room. The stench of old blood eminated from the room..
As the women, children, and old realized that they were targets, they too began to hide. The corpses of the fallen littered the streets as the Jaredcohenians began to fire, but then came the fire from windows all around. Bombed out buildings came alit with gunfire.
It would not be the same as it was in Kaiserburg, though. The men here were not prepared to do what had to be done.
Several more tanks were taken down, and the flak cannons were nearly all gone. The battle looked to be going well for Jaredcohenia, as the bombing attack had seriously messed up the Zukariaan defences..

Duskan cringed in pain, "you don't scare me. If anything, I think you're actually quite funny looking. You smell like cabbage. Speaking of cabbage, where's the saurkraut? This room smells funny, but not like cabbage. I need a shave, too. Got a razor?"
~~~
Men threw grenades in the location of the gun firing.
"Where do you think you're going?" a man said to a young woman with a child as he watched them hide. "I see you." He laughed as he followed the couple with his rifle.
The bombs kept falling on any building still standing, in the resulting explosions Jaredcohenians did die.
A man threw a molotov at a pile of corpses, "burn...burn...burn..."
Kurt looked at him funny for a moment, then kicked him right in the jaw. He walked to a table while the other guard walked to him and kicked him in the ribs several times. On the table was a box. He opened it with a key. Inside were assorted torture weapons. He pulled out a large whip and closed the box.
"Don't time him up." Kurt said, looking at the whipping post on the other end of the room,"It's funner when they struggle."
With that, the whipe slashed through the air, directly at Duskan's face.
Many died now, and the civilians, too, began to fight. Soldiers saw that they could no longer rely on cover from buildings, coming out into the streets to hide behind rubble. They tossed grenades, and civilians tossed molotovs of their own. From outside the city came many more men and tanks who had been waiting for a different attack that had not come. Even with this, there would not be a large enough defence.
Within several hours of fighting, the bulk of the civilian population was either dead or hiding in the woods. Throughout the city there were many last stands from men who would never surrender.
In one place was the commanding officer in Viel. He had failed Zukariaa. Although he was one of the last surviving soldiers in Viel, he could not face the shame of being captured, killed, or even being confronted by his superiors. As the Jaredcohenians rushed into the room where he made his last stand, he put his pistol to his head and fired, after yelling,"You cannot take the dead!"
The city of Viel was taken. To the west was Kaiserburg, now surrounded on both sides. To the east was the Unsterblich metropolitan area.
Things had just gotten a whole lot worse for Zukariaa, especially the men in Kaiserburg.
Major General Sergei Rosbanin landed via helicopter in Viel, the men who were still high in numbers encircled his chopper.
"No longer is this town called Viel! It is now Stantsiya Krasnyee! (OOC: Red Station) We have shown the Zukariaans that this will be a blood red war!"
They cheered, the Jaredcohenian flag had been raised on a school that had survived the bombing. It would be the temporary capital building.
It would take several hours, but troops came to reinforce the area. More tanks were dropped into the city, as were artillery and Jeeps. Troops were deployed, there would be two groups.
Miko, which would go to Unsterblich, was more heavily armed and powerful. Yaniz, the other, would try and recapture Kaiserburg.
They split up.
Duskan was obviously hurt. "You can't harm someone who has no soul, Biblefucker. Feed me nothing, shoot me, whip me, I don't care. I'm already dead, and as you know...you can't kill a zombie."
In one building lay a soldier with a leg blown off. It had taken all the strength he had to keep quiet and drag himself to the radio that was somehow still active, by some miracle. He talked in a painful voice, daring not to cry out in pain.
"Do you read me..?" he said, the reply came, loudly. Too loud for comfort.
"Yes, we ready you. Is there a situation? Who is this?"
"This is.." he tried to stop a jolt of pain,"This is Private Dirk Kauffman.. the attackers have taken Viel.. need help.."
That was when the Jaredcohenians came around.
Unsterblich command took the information and messaged the High Command in Yelthad, the Zukariaan capitol. The mobolization of 20,000 men came after an hour, and were sent out, followed by 20,000 more in another couple of hours, until there were 100,000. They would be arriving after 2 days, and were made up of mobolized, infantry, and support.
Meanwhile, the area all throughout the Unsterblich metro area and the city itself came on high alert. 20,000 Zukariaan army personel were there, and nearly 500,000 civilians lived in the area. About half of them were willing to protect their homes, or were strong enough too. The rest began to evacuate.
Now, it was the Jaredcohenians move. The Zukariaans were not truly ready for an attack yet, but they were all willing to die, and expected an attack. The men still holding Kaiserburg rested for now.
Soon the real war for Unsterblich would begin.
Kurt laughed again athe Duskan,"Du think I care? Du will bleed just like any other human being! Du will feel pain, and du will be miserable! Du will wish du were dead!"
He cracked the whipe on Duskans side, the other guard grabbed a bat from nearby, apparantly ready for such a situation. He took it to Duskans side several times before the whip came down again.
Duskan was coughing up blood all over the place, his body was black. "I already am dead," more blood came out. "You can not kill-" A bat hit to the head caused him to become incoherant, he passed out. His eyes were open as his face smacked the floor.
Stantsiya Krasnyee was rebuild, the town was turning into a highly defended fort as Miko was making progress. Bombers flew over the Unsterblich suburbs, carpet bombing. At the same time, artillery with the group had been firing, attempting to hit again schools and public buildings.
On the other side, the men reached a sign on a road. In German, it said "Kaiserburg-1km". The tanks were driving, single file as men marched in between them.
Kurt and the guard hit him several more times before dragging him out and into his cell. They locked it, the threw in a single chicken wing for the men to fight for.
"Have fun, du pieces of shit." Kurt sneered, then he walked away.
Many buildings were destroyed throughout the area, but it was very large. Much of it still stood even through the bombing. The many civilians began to fire their bolt-action rifles and AK47s into the air at the enemy bombers, and soldiers all over manned large flak cannons. Entire roads were blocked off with cars in case of attack. Tanks rolled around the area. Soldiers ran around everywhere taking up defense. Civilians followed as part of the very large volunteer group.
Artillery began to fire back, and after a delayed reaction, bombers were sent out in a counter-attack.
The men of Kaiserburg had secretly evacuated the women and children into the forests nearly 5km away. 900 men stayed behind. They only had 4 tanks left and 6 jeeps. The men worked vigorously at making trenches filled with makeshift spikes, which they covered with a thin layer of dirt over plastic wrap. It was surprisingly well done.
Sandbags rowed several streets, and snipers sat on what few buildings were left. MG42s were arranged where neccasary. The supplies in Kaiserburg would last long enough, so most of them hoped. Heinreich took a deep breath before closing his eyes for the night.
"For the motherland!" A bomber pilot screamed as his plane was hit by incoming flak, he nosedived and crashed into the town beneath him. Fighters fired their guns and missiles at the enemy's bombers, some were hit by flak as well. They all tried to crash into the cities and towns beneath them.
Artillery continued to fire, buildings were still targeted. The shells hindered the Jaredcohenian advancement, one had hit a road the tanks were travelling on.
~~~~~~~~~~
As night fell, the Jaredcohenian foot soldiers had snuck into the city. They were as quiet as possible, using the cover of night to try and avoid Zukariaan cover.
A man had grabbed a Molotov and emptied the liquor onto a building, and lit a match. He ran and readied his rifle.
~~~~~~~~~~
"Meek?" Ivan asked. "Meek? You there?" He slapped him.
"Hm...what?"
"You were out cold, you talked back to the guard and he probably kicked the shit out of you."
"So that's what that smell is." Druzin joked. "They gave us a chicken wing, that's it."
Duskan thought. "If we leave it out, bugs can get attracted to it?"
"We can eat the meat and leave the bone and open it and get the marrow out and then have the bugs go to the marrow." Druzin noted. "I took a biology class in high school, I know." He laughed.
Many more buildings were destroyed, as were many bombers. Any that were destroyed aimed themselves for the Jaredcohenian advance. Still, more made it through and began to bomb the enemy artillery and advancements.
Flak guns continued to fire into the sky, and men could do nothing but hide and wait for the Jaredcohenians to reach them.
In Kaiserburg, several watchmen saw the building begin to burn, and silently notified men that were with them. Those men would move down the building to emplacements, running to each one and telling the men. They refused to move anywhere from their positions, which were throughout the entire town. They would wait for the enemy to come to them.
The next morning Kurt came back. He looked at the bone from the chicken on the floor.
"Let me guess," he began,"The fatfuck got it all? Or was it the stupid one?"
He laughed,"Who do I beat today?"
The artillery was hidden in trees, the bombs knocked the trees down. Some destroyed the weapons, but most had survived.
As the Jaredcohenian bombers were hit, they turned themselves into giant missles. Thousands of gallons of jetfuel in them made them a great weapon to hit the ground.
Bombers that had been hit were aiming at the large buildings in Unsterblich.
"For the motherland!" Pilots screamed as they were attempting to crash. Fighters began their approach to Unsterblich's airport, to destroy anything that was there.
The tanks had finally made it into the roads of the suburbs. "Split up, men." Tanks drove on sidestreets, firing their guns at whatever was moving and their shells at any vechicle was spotted.
~~~~~
In Kaiserburg, more fires were started throughout the dark night. The sky was now bright, from the fires below.
Men were strapping bombs to their bodies, remotes were given to tank drivers. If a man was killed, his body was to be exploded in an attempt to kill more Zukariaans. They began to march into the city.
"If you surrender, you will not be killed."
~~~~~
Ivan stood up. "I did. You want to make something of it?"
"Ivan...sit down."
"No, this Bible fucking kraut made fun of me. He's a coward, can't even fight. Resorts to fighting with damn toys and not his fists. A gun? That's what he has?"
"Shit!" A fighter pilot screamed as he was hit by a flak gun. His engines were hit, he was nosediving downwards in the direction of the camp.
"Hey, you Zukariaan douchebag. Fight me, no guns. Come on."
"Ivan! Shut the fuck up."
"Stop telling me what to fucking do."
Kurt took a look at the man, then pulled out a luger pistol.
"How about du shut du'r face?" he said, just as a huge explosion rocked the other side of the camp,"What the fuck?"
Two men came rushing towards him. One yelled,"Sir! An enemy bomber just hit us! We need du down there!"
"Motherfuck.." he said, he aimed the pistol at Ivan and shot the man in the leg before rushing off.
The Unsterblich area was being massively bombarded, and soon enough power was knocked out. As the tanks started coming down the roads, they would find large blockades of cars strapped with explosives and full tanks. Beyond that was a sandbag blockade, with several men with RPGs and MG42s. Snipers were taking hits off any approaching men, mainly from the tops of homes.
Hundreds of men and dozens of tanks and jeeps moved around, reinforcing positions. Most of them were poorly equipped civilians, but even civilians in massive numbers were dangerous.
As the enemies began marching into the town, they would be forced to walk over the spike pits that the Zukariaans had made in a desperate attempt to make a trap. But first, MG42s and men from buildings began to fire onto them. The last tanks and jeeps began to fire on enemy tanks and jeeps. Grenades were thrown at the enemy, RPGs were fired, and several landmines that had been found were put in places that the enemy tanks would likely go.
Snipers took shots off of whoever was convenient. The entire city came alive with gunfire firing into the eastern area outside of Kaiserburg.
The pilot, somehow, survived the explosion. He was burned throughout. He grabbed his rifle that had rested on a gun rack in the back of his cabin, he armed himself. His burned skin was of a crimson hue.
Duskan looked at Ivan. "You fucking moron."
"Did you hear that? Could they be trying to save us?"
"No, you're a fucking moron. You could've been killed."
"And I care why? No one insults me and gets away with it."
"And do you have anything to kill him with?"
"My hands."
"Some weapon you got there."
~~~~~~~~~
Tanks fired at the cars, if they had explosives in them or not. They believed they were at a safe distance.
The city's sounds were of explosions-the tank's firing mainly.
~~~
Men had stepped into landmines and the spikes, it would be the end of the war for them. Measures were taken to avoid the spikes, but it wouldn't work. Men would fall into it regardless.
Grenades were thrown to the tops of buildings, RPGs were fired AT buildings. The men were instructed to not let the previous battle repeat itself.
Guard posts lit up, firing onto the somehow living pilot. Kurt looked out into the work field that the plane had crashed into. Next to him was an MG42, usually used to gun down misbehaving prisoners.
He held it and began to fire onto the pilot's position from the balcony of the POW facility overlooking the work field.
The cars would make a large explosion, creating large wholes in the road, making it difficult for the tanks to move through. Even so, the exploded cars still sat in the way, easily crushed by a tank. The sandbag positions would open fire on the tanks, along with at least one RPG to each position.
It had taken a long time, but the Zukariaan artillery was set up and began to fire onto enemy positions as best as the Zukariaans knew where to fire.
Bombers continued to bomb advancements and artillery positions, and anti-air fire was taking many of them down.
Several positions were taken out by grenades and RPGs, and positions were changed quickly. The men moved to different floors and resetup, firing again. This included the snipers, which would be hard to find even without them moving around.
At ground level, defences continued to fire onto advancements, and tanks sat behind them, giving them covering fire. Men drove whatever still-working civilian vehicles they could find to use as barricades, and the men kept their distance in case of tank hits. All-in-all, about 24 cars were found and blocked off the main entrances to town as best as they could.
The blazing buildings soon crumbled under their own weight. Luckily, they weren't very tall and were wooden, so didn't create much of a problem besides a large firing mess in the middle of the street.
Tanks did explode due to being hit by multiple grenades, but not all of them. Shells were fired in the direction of the men, as were heavy machine gunners on top of the tanks. Anti air missiles were fired from surviving fighters and stationary men on ground.
More bombers had come in from the Red Station, they were to attack the main city.
"Why the fuck are the bombers ignoring us?!" A tank commander said as he was dealing with several men with RPGs.
"No clue...Fire!" A tank shell's explosion roared through the tank. How anyone's ear drums could survive this is a mystery.
~~~~
Men with mortars and RPGs fired at buildings where snipers were suspected, the resulting blast knocked down several soldiers behind the firer.
There were no tanks in the city yet, some were stuck in the earth and others just hadn't advanced yet.

The blockades of cars exploded, showing the way to RPGs and MG nests. Some tanks and mortars shot, and a sniper every once in awhile, but other than that the defence was rather poor as they did not have a lot of time to get it done.
In the sky, bombers hit where they suspected artillery, while others went for advancements. The defence of Unsterblich was not doing too well, as enemy bomber began to hit positions all over, taking out tank advancements and knocking down buildings.
Several buildings had entire floors blown out, yet still stood. One, however, collapsed. It fell on Zukariaans and fell towards the eastern entrance of town, creating a large rubble blockade. One of the men killed was the commander of the forces in Kaiserburg. All of the men knew it. They all knew that they were suddenly in a bad situation. They continued to fight on, as they knew they had no choice.
Heinreich watched from his spot as he fired out into the advancements. He knew that someone must take a position of leader now. No one could, but he had to do something. He suddenly yelled at the men next to him,"Get the mortars to the back of the town and have them fire as fast as possible! Get some ammunition and RPGs up here! We are not losing this battle!"
What he had said completely surprised him. He sat motionless for a time, amazed with himself and at the fact that the men nodded and moved off.

Bombs kept dropping on the seige, artillery that wasn't hit (or the area in an inferno) kept firing.
The next stage of the battle was to begin, the dropping of paramarines. The paramarines were the elite of the elite. However, the flight of the "bombers" had been delayed due to increased anti-air fire. It would be the job of the tanks to clear out any anti-air gun and capture any flak cannon.
The tanks moved in, while some being hit by mortars and RPGs others continued pressing quickly. Machine gunners on top fired at the men with RPGs.
~~~~
Molotovs were chucked at any building still standing that was suspected of harboring snipers.
Men fired their AKs and occasionally friendly fired in the dark town.
