Title of Nation : The Kirisuban Federation
form of Government : a council of 5 warlords rules in the Emperors name. Each warlord controls one part of the Federation.
population: 3 million people
languages spoken : Kirisuban. a few translators and merchants may know latin as well
Head of state : Emperor Hisahito. The young Emperor is 20 years old but isn't as much a puppet as his father was. He wants a Federation wide government and laws rather than a loose assocation of states and he is gaining more influence, his 'suggestions' carrying more weight.
the lie of the land : There are 5 main island blocs named from North to south. they are 100 miles east of Nippon.

Asaka province
Minasawa province
Kensai province
Each is semi independant and civil wars have flared up in the past. now the Federation is at peace and they are exploring the seas round their island home and looking for trade.
The people
the Kirisubans have a strong warrior caste called Samurai who police and protect the federation. Justice is swift in Kirisubo and a Samurai is judge, jury and executioner.
Farmers make up most of the population, the production of millet and rice being their main job.
everyone else is below these groups in the loose caste system and it possible to rise and fall between them.
