Since the last 500 years , Matenbud had no freewill . It was always under the opressive control of the Galactic Empire of Mationbuds which swept through Matenbud in force , totally eliminating all Republic Defenses and took over the 2 -system Empire .
Over the 50 decades of Imperial Tyrannical rule , they had plenty of time to consolidate their power . Unknown to them , what was a small group of unhappy Matenbud Citizens had joinedd forces and expanded numerously into a several million -strong force which was a little underfunded . They called themselves the Rebel Federation .
On the day which we term the Great Liberation Day , the Imperial Embassy on Matenbud was bombed by a hidden detonator charge placed in a visiting vehicle . The damage would have caused little damage but it was more of a symbolic act to mark the end of Imperial Rule and the dawn of freewill .
The Imperial Moff's Mansion was also literally taken under seige by us as 100,000 of our fellow Rebels layed siege to the Mansion , quickly overwhelming the initial 10 Stormtroopers and 2 Hover Tanks guarding the gate . We quickly rushed forward , killing every Imperialist in our way and smashing any obstacle which blocked us .
We made our way through the Mansion , up to the Moffs office in which we barged in and captured the accursed Imperial Moff for the Matenbud Hovz Planet . Over the next few hours , the Grand Moff's Fortress was also layed siege to and captured , but at a great cost . Compared to the defences at the Grand Moff's Fortress , the Moff's Mansion would look like a playhouse .
Our fellow Rebels stormed the once-great Republic shipyards which were storing old Republic ships which were already decommisioned long ago but were stored instead of disposed of . In total , 20 Heavy Assualt Cruisers , 50 Light Assualt Cruisers and a variety of other smaller support crafts like Escort Carriers and Frigates were taken and manned by the Rebel Federation , which now had its own navy .
The Rebel Navy combatted the Imperial Flotilla stationed at Hovz which were in the docks and were thus caught in a precarious position . The Rebel Navy suceeded in driving away the Imperial Flotilla at a cost of 2 Heavy Cruisers and 6 Light Cruisers . Several Rebel V-Wings were also shot down during the process .
The Imperial Flotilla which fled with the remaining of the Imperial Forces on Hovz represented the last bit of Imperial Forces on Hovz . Hovz was now officially Rebel Federation territory ! Knowing that the Imperials would swiftly retaliate , they began shoring up their defences and recruiting more followers to the Rebel Cause ...
