Lands of Wutai
General information:
From the green rolling hills, to the highlands, large crystal clear blue lakes and lush forests with many forms of wildlife who roam the lands of Wutai are indeed a beautiful sight to see. Osteian settlers and lords escaped the rebellion against their emperor by relocating to a peaceful enviroment which upholds Osteian law and tradtions, after hundreds of years the Osteian presence has kept up to time with their homeland when it comes to their way of life.
Wutai is not ruled by one man but by many lords through out the land as in their original homeland after the rebellion, a time for a great leader has come.
Ambitious Lord Winifred Baird 6th has came fourth and put a motion foward to join all nobles togeather for a combined campaign to create one large army. Lord Baird holds the oldest Nobility known throughout the lands of Wutai therefore is the rightful leader of all.
The Way of life:
Life in Wutai is simple, farmers and their familys work to pay their taxes for land given to them by their Lords who are mostly compassionate and care for what their peoples needs are, what ever they are, in return they are given the rights to bare childern, marry and live in peace. Nobles and knights of Wutai enjoy hunting for game, tornaments once, sometimes twice a year during festivities that all are welcome to attend. Wutai's population of five million people stretch from the flatlands to the highlands in the north, many villiges and towns are spread across the civilization.
Weather/terrian: It rains alot, often foggy, grassy areas, lush forests, swamps
Military Forces:
In Osteia the military has always been a tradition. On Wutai all Osteian units from the homeland exist but are split up between all the lords of the lands, Lord Baird has the largest force on the island and the most settlers on his lands. Units include Heavy cavelry(they resemble Gothic knights, but are not of nobility), infantry equiped with templar helmets, chain mail, battle axes, spears, swords and sheilds. Cavelry are slightly more lighter than the heavy cavelry and wear the colors of Osteia, black gold and red, they wear plate and chainmail armor also equiped with templar helmets, their weapons consist of sharp lances and broadswords. Archers are lightly armored and equiped with longbows. Finally the islands knights wear bright colors and the finest of equipment that cannot all be specifyed due to the different weapons they use, the knights are nobles, land owners, lords who join their men on the field of battle when the time comes.
Religion:
The majority of Osteians living on Wutai are Roman-Cathlioc, few are different..pagens.
