Cuttlefishes On The Dinner Table?
<Taking place in the Communist Commonwealth of the Isle of Korriban Senate building>
(Time: 7:00am)
*15/30 seat*
>In the unfinished Senate Building the senators where talking amongst them self until Sovereign Psalms came out of the lead chamber. The four viceroys and ten prefects sat down with Psalms in the center area.
Sovereign Psalms: It has been suggested that the cuttlefish be used as another food source to help the economy. Although at the minute the cuttlefish is well populated, I believe in not doing this. History has shown that nations, that hunt and eat their nations animal has become extinct. In that this is a small matter, we the Senate can come to terms for the best of our people. What would the Senate like to add to this?
>The Sovereign walks out of the center and goes to his chair. A prefect stands up, hand raised and says: “I got something to add.”
Prefect Oreck: I am in agreement with the Sovereign on this issue. I believe we should not eat our nations animal. We should not honor the cuttlefish by stuffing it in our faces.
>Prefect Oreck takes his seat and a Viceroy of the west province stands.
Viceroy Gallows: Yes, but we should not let the cuttlefish go to waste. We could cultivate the cuttlefish in small farms, but the province I am governing over does not have the necessary resources to carry on with this idea. We will have to come back to my idea in the future.
>A youthful woman raised her hand.
Prefect Jonas: I would like to add something to what the viceroy said. The east province has the resources to begin cultivating sea life in general.
>Then the Viceroy of the east province added to the discussion.
Viceroy Levine: I would not wish to sound selfish, but I have plans for the east province.
>The Sovereign in his seat speaks.
Sovereign Psalms: In the best interest of the people, I know we should start cultivating the cuttlefish as soon as possible, but only on the west province. I believe that the whole Senate can agree on not using the cuttlefish as an economic food source at the minute. We should vote on the matter. Yes, we should eat the cuttlefish or No, we should not?
>The Senate chamber was silent for a few minutes as The the Sovereign tallied the votes.
Sovereign Psalms: This is the results, it’s two for, to thirteen against. We will not eat the cuttlefish. This discussion for the minute is over. I will see you all here when the next discussion comes our way.
-End of report.
