Not a good one anyway, I found a link that lists the players, stats and so on of the teams that competed in the World Cup not long ago. Heres the link-http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/w/team/index.html

That link should get us started, I haven't decided yet if I'm going to join.

[OOC- Dweladelfia prime, no. There may be more than one team per country, as detailed by me earlier and as quoted by TG6R.

Okay. As of this time, we have 25 PC nations/divisions of nations participating. I'm closing the admittance tomorrow my-time (GMT-6), so anyone who hasn't announced their intention to join, too bad. You'll have to wait for the next one.

Should we not get 32 nations (I'm not expecting we do), in the interests of keeping it bracketed fairly I'm going to throw some NPC nations in against each other and against you guys. Just enough to bump to 32.

Azaha, I'll try to keep it going as quickly as possible. Hopefully your nation loses before you ship out, I guess. :P]

Or you could have it grouped as qualifiers and allow 16 to qualify. I'd also be ok with breaking up. If we have 4 slots open, then split me. If three, take Ukraine, Turkey, and SA Balkan Team. If 2 then SA East(Turkey) and SA West(all else).

[OOC- Then don't join.

Seriously, no one else has a problem with it and it fits perfectly with the RL examples of Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and England. Since, you know, there's no U.K. team in the RL tournament. And, since I'm bracketing, I say that I would like people with very large countries (like TG6R) to divide up. Others are welcome to do so and have.

If you want to only send one team, fine, do it. But please don't insult the method I'm using to create the tournament or the other people who decided that they wanted to divide up their countries a bit as I requested that some people do.]

I only offered a bid if no one offered their own, so mine is voided. I'll have a coin flipout for host. I'm using a virtually even coin(one of those plastic ones). Tails knocks you out, heads moves you to the next round. Last nation standing wins the bid.

YAY! Coul you TG me or somehting how you plan to scorinate, mainly curiosity.

It is unfortunate that our Host Nation is Boycotting the World Cup.
http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11676293&postcount=29

Due to DP's boycott, the host bid defaults to Great Romeo. A boycott would be made into a forfeit I think or maybe the matches wouldn't count. Whatever you want to do Mr. WC Tech ;)

If they're playing like I think that they're playing, Caucasus Republic is playing Sel Appa first.

As follows:
1
2
3
4

1v2 / 3v4
1v3 / 2v4
4v1 / 2v3

Of course, I don't know for certain, because I'm not scorinating.

[OOC- A Bit of Clarification: Star meant a very, very close game. A few ties. Scores were derived from the ratio of wins to each side in the RNG. The number in parantheses next to each nation's name is that nation's rank in their Group at this time. There are 2 games left to play still in each group. Congrats to winners, good luck to losers in the next game!]

[OOC- Because the FIFA rankings in the real world have no bearing on an imaginary World Cup. Because seeding and socrinating for these things are done by random and there is no complicated percentage-based thing for an event that, even in real life, has massive surprises.
